The Perfect Life

The Perfect Life
Episode 18's

Alby breathed a sigh of relief, but only a few seconds later changed with a feeling of emptiness. He feels empty. Today he is legally held as a widower after going through several sessions. Everything was smooth as Rima could work well together.

Alby got up from his chair, heading to his parents who were also in the courtroom. She hugged her mother, tightly. Together with his parents, Alby steps out of the courtroom. At a glance his tail glanced at Rima. His ex-wife had a piece of tissue on his face. Alby gulped, struggling to hold back his feelings. He was sad, but everything had to be this way.

Aini who walked side by side with Alby, stroked her son's arm. He did not know what the real problem was between them, but Aini knew this decision would definitely hurt both of them.

The sun outside is shining. The wind blows. Alby headed towards his car, while his parents got into their car. Alby did say he had business after the hearing. That's why they ride in different cars. Alby breathed in as soon as he got into the car. He started the car engine, but not to leave immediately. He just wants to turn on the cooler. He needed to cool his messy mood. His phone rings, his Arny-sister name appears.

“Halo, Mas, are you busy today?” Her sister doesn't know about her divorce. She's pregnant. Alby didn't want to make her sad.

“Ngak. What's up?”

“I want to ask you to take me to the hospital. Mas Seno again outside the city.”

“Ok. Wait Mas about half an hour.”

“Iya, thank you, Mas.”

Alby ended the call. Then start running the car. The plan that was about to calm himself was canceled. His sister is more important.

“To which hospital?” alby asked his sister in the car.

“Meditra,” replied Arni while putting on the seat belt. Her six-month-old stomach was visible.

Alby glanced at his sister. “Need to help?”

“No need, can kok.”

Alby is back on the steering wheel. “Doctor whom do you check with?” Alby asked as he turned the keys to his car that had been inserted into his hole.

“Doctor Naziya, that's the doctor who used to help Mba Rima.” Arny gave the information, thinking maybe her brother had forgotten.

“Oh,” reply Alby short. He started running his car.

“Mas remember?”

Alby nodded without looking.

Silent moment.

“Mba Rima and Rimba how's it going?” Arni glanced at her brother while rubbing his stomach. He improved his sitting position. These times are indeed the most tired if you are pregnant because the stomach feels heavier.

Alby gulps. “They are fine. Mas Seno duty where?” Alby switched the conversation.

“Ke Surabaya's. Tomorrow just go home.” Arni answered without any suspicion at all.

“I miss Rimba. How many months I've never seen him. He must have crawled.” His condition did not allow him to travel often. The doctor said the condition of the womb is weak so he must be a lot at home, a lot of rest, should not be stressed.

“Later if you have new lahiran there.” Alby squeezing the steering wheel. He missed that kid too. For almost a month he never saw her. Although not his real son, Alby still loves him.

“Good day, Doc,” greet Arni as they enter the Nazi room.

Naziya frowned looking at the man holding onto Arni. A moment later, he smiled and returned the greeting of his patient. “Please sit.”

Alby pulled out a chair for his sister's seat and smiled at the Nazis. “Good day, Doc.”

“Siang.” He watched the man. Why did he often meet her. It was as if the world only had the two of them. And what does this have to do with Arnie?

“Doctors still remember him?” Arni asked when she saw Naziya looking at her brother. Arni and Naziya are quite familiar because Arni has checked himself several times with the obstetrician.

Naziya.

“She's my sister.”

The mouth of the Nazis formed a circle. A few moments later, he began his examination.

“Now weigh her body first, yes.”

Arni nodded.

Alby sped up and patiently led, holding his sister gently to the scales that were about two meters from where they were. Then help raise his sister's leg.

Naziya smiled faintly watching the man's treatment of his sister. He seemed to not believe if the man was famous for being cold-hearted as Randy said. The Nazis then followed them and noticed at what number the needles would stop. When he finished, he again told the woman to sleep in the gurney. Alby again led him patiently. Nazi feelings warmed. Her memory wandered a few years ago while she was pregnant with Naya. Zain treated her like a queen. However, a moment later his smile loosened changing into a sliced feeling. He focused on his patients.

The news of Alby's divorce soon spread like a coronavirus outbreak. Some are sympathetic and some are happy because they have the opportunity to approach the handsome but cold lecturer. Various speculations about the cause of the popular lecturer's household rift that is new for corn appear in a variety of ways. A lot of people talk about it. Like these four students. They were in the canteen.

“What I said, right? I was convinced from the beginning that Mr. Alby was upset because of family problems.” The goddess raised her head. He always opens the conversation. Feeling a little proud because his guess was right. With the news of Alby's divorce, it then confirmed their guess why the handsome lecturer looked upset some time ago when teaching.

The three friends nodded. There's no point in arguing that their friend is so know-how. But indeed, Dewi is the one who first knows if there is news that is again excited. Like the news about Mr. Alby smiling and laughing in the cafeteria about two weeks ago. Those who were gossiping in the classroom did not know about the incident. The goddess found out about it from one of her friends who was in the cafeteria at the time. Which then regretted by them for skipping lunch so they could not enjoy the important moment that somehow they could enjoy again.

“But roughly what problem, yes, to get them divorced?" Dina asked curiously.

“Don't his wife cheat because Mr. Alby is too cuek.” Ani gave an opinion.

“Eits is not possible, Mr. Alby cheated.” The Goddess defends, not wanting the man she admires to be blamed. “Gue sure, Mr. Alby is actually a warm person, not what it looks like.”

“Where do you know?” Ani sangsi. Although he also admired the lecturer, he tried to think logically.

“Yes indeed, I have never seen it directly, but usually it is like that. Men who look cold are usually warm and considerate men. As I often read in novels.”

“Ya. Conscious woi. We live in the real world not imagination,” protested Ani.

“But usually it is. I said not based on the novel, yes. People usually have different personalities. Sometimes the personality he shows is different from the real personality.” Dina chimed in, not defending the Goddess, just trying to be neutral. He said it based on some of the readings he had read.

“That's right, did I say.” The goddess felt supported. He then turned his eyes to the most beautiful and intelligent girl in their class who had been silent. “How according to lo, Vit?” Goddess asked.

“Gue still can't conclude.” Vita chose not to argue. He is also still guessing the cause of the separation of his favorite lecturer with his wife. It's too early to conclude now.

Their struggle paused for a moment when they saw the person they were gosipi walking towards the staff canteen.

"Jeez." Goddesses muttering. His eyes could not be separated from the teacher.

"It's normal to see it." Ani shook her hands in front of the face of the Goddess.

"Ish, just bother me." Goddess protest. He then straightened his body after Alby lost his sight, after which he cleared his throat. His expression immediately turned serious.

Vita, Ani and Dina frowned.

"Gue is honest. It's up to you to say I'm evil." He paused for a moment which made his three friends more astonished and curious.

"Woi speed. You want to tell me what the hell is it?" Ani protested impatiently after waiting for a few seconds.

Goddesses belching. But a moment later he started talking. "To be honest I'm very happy to hear Mr. Alby divorced his wife."

"What!" Ani and Dina glared. Astounded.

Vita did not react. If he wanted to be honest, he also felt the same way as what the Goddess felt.

"Gue said that. And I'm sure everyone who likes Mr. Alby at least feels that way even if it's just a little."

The turn of Ani and Dina who were silent, allowed.
