The Perfect Life

The Perfect Life
Episode 7's

“Dok, if a parent has blood types O and B, is there a chance that the child has blood type A?” Alby asked curious and agitated. His son had been in hospital for a week and is now home. And all that time his mind wandered. He tried to neutralize his thoughts, tried to think logically, but all in vain. That wild thought always comes to haunt him. Alby took a deep breath.

“No, if parents have blood type O and B, then their child will not have blood type A directly. Blood type A is inherited when a person has allele1 A from one parent or both.”

“O-blood type parents have two O alleles, while parents with blood type B have at least one B allele. The O allele is a recessive allele, which means a person must have two O alleles in order to have blood type O. Therefore, if both parents have blood types O and B, they do not have the A allele to transmit it to their child.”

“In this case, their children have the possibility of inheriting the O allele from parents with blood type O and B alleles from parents with blood type B. Therefore, their children will likely have blood type O or B, depending on the allele they inherited from both parents.” Doctor Andri explained at length.

It felt like Alby's bones were collapsing instantly. The doctor's explanation seemed to strengthen his assumption. Does he need to do more to convince himself? Alby's been worried. He walked out of the hospital.

“Loh, Mr Alby?” Naziya greeted when he saw the husband of one of his patients walking through their room.

Alby raised his head, fixed his gaze on the person who greeted him. “Doctor Naziya, good afternoon.” Alby said hello with a slightly forced rhyme. “Happy day.” Alby turns to Meti and Reni who follow the Nazis.

“Siang.” Meti and Reni reply compact. Stunned by the good looks of the man in front of them.

“Children Mr Alby still in hospital?”

“Already returned home.”

"How is he doing?"

"It's better."

“Thank God. Sorry, Mister. We say goodbye to lunch,” said Naziya politely.

“Oh yes, please, doc.”

Alby returned to walk after Naziya, Meti and Reni passed, heading to the parking lot. He immediately started the car after entering, but did not immediately leave. He only turned on the AC because the air was very hot outside. Alby ducked on the steering wheel of his car, breathing out, thinking about what he should do. Does he have to test his DNA to prove everything? This is the only way to prove that Rimba is really his son or not.

He recalled his sister's words when he saw the Jungle a few months ago. “Kok Rimba does not look like the same mas Alby.” At that time, it was not something to be questioned. Children born do not always have to be similar to their parents. But today, that sentence bothered him greatly. And indeed, if you look, until Rimba is seven months old now, there is no part of Alby that looks like him at all. There's only part of the rhyme and part of the other one who knows. Alby's restoring hair in frustration.

He even began to think that falling on the ground was just Rima's wits to hide the fact that she was pregnant first. That Riska-Mom Rima was just pretending to be sick to make her want to marry her son immediately. Alby began to remember when he was asked to marry Rima about a year ago.

Alby was called by his parents. His parents and Rima's parents have been close since they were children. And Alby had put his heart on Rima when they were Junior High and into adulthood. Rima is his underclassman. That was why he did not refuse when his parents betrothed the two of them and on the grounds that Rima's mother was sick.

Alby returned to his hair. If that's true, their mistake won't make Alby forgive.

“Tumben quick home?” Rima was playing on the bed when she saw her husband open the door.

Alby looked at me. “There is missing. Where's Rimba?” His heart again throbbed pain when it called out to his son. He could not imagine if it turned out that the child he had loved wholeheartedly for several months was not his flesh and blood.

“There was a nap in his room,” replied Rima. Then his face returned to the flat object that was in his grasp. He smiled briefly.

Alby turned his head, momentarily watching his wife. Various feelings twinkled in his heart. Disappointed, angry, dear, everything mixed together one made his breathing run irregular. He could not imagine his wife sleeping with someone else before marrying him. Alby never really bothered about a woman's virginity. He is not a completely clean man either. He had also done dirty things when SI college first. Only that Alby did not accept, he was like just used as a shield to cover the disgrace of his wife. He loves Rima, and even loves her. Rima is the second woman after her mother who Alby loves more than anything. However, that was no reason to play him like this. His ego as a man is flushed.

Alby took a deep breath. Calm his emotions that began to race. He reminded me of his intention to go home. He had to solve this problem before it got more complicated and drove him crazy.

Alby stepped into her baby's room, picked up a pair of scissors and cut off a little of her hair. He turned his head towards the entrance, making sure that Rima was not there. When he finished, he returned to their room next to his son's room. “I'm back on campus.” Alby pamit's.

Alby nodded. “I go first.”

“Iya, be careful, dear.” The rhyme still did not move from the bed. Busy with his phone.

Alby entered the hospital feeling inexplicable. For a moment he hesitated. Is this action right? What if Rimba is his son? Then Rima knew he was doing this. Will Rima forgive him? Will Rimba consider him a father? Alby groaned in frustration. A few people who passed by looked towards him with astonished gazes.

Alby realized. He needed to calm down before actually handing over the sample he was holding. He walked down the hospital hallways. It stopped at a park. As he was about to cram his feet into a chair, he saw that Naziya was sitting looking at the flowing water. Today, he met the woman twice.

Alby looked at the face of Naziya for a moment. Although from the side, it was quite obvious, the woman looked grim. For a moment Alby weighed, whether he should approach her or not. However, he eventually chose the no option. He's here to calm down so he can make the right decision. And after all, it seems that obstetricians also need their own. Alby then stepped into a chair not far from Naziya.

Unlike his original plan, he instead focused on paying attention to the Nazis. He saw the woman several times breathing. It seems like he is in a big trouble. Alby felt what Naziya felt. He is also in a complicated situation.

“Good day, Doc.” Alby finally decided to say hello. He thought maybe the Nazis needed a friend to talk to, not about the problem, but just a interlocutor.

The Nazis are shocked to find Alby by his side. Smilingly. “Eh, noon.”

“Sorry to interrupt, doctor. I just happened to pass by here and see doctor.” Alby tried to answer the Nazi's shock.

“Oh.”

“Can I sit?” Alby asked politely.

“Ya, please.” The naziya tried to smile. He shifted his body slightly to the side.

Silent moment.

“How are your son and wife?” Naziya asked random, trying to break the silence.

“They are fine. Doctor, how is it?” A second later, Alby cursed at him. He was afraid if his question offended the beautiful doctor.

“I'm fine.” Naziya smiled. He saw a handsome face beside him.

“Sorry if I sassy, doc.”

“It's okay. Once in a while it is the doctor who should be asked his condition.” The Nazis tried to joke. Then laugh without a sound. And in a few seconds his heart slipped. Miris. Reportedly it's not okay.

Alby caught a sad tone in the Nazi amulet. The tail of his eyes glanced, catching the laughter there. However, it was not a happy laugh. Laughter contains pain. It turned out that behind the hospitality and freshness that had been displayed by Naziya - at least what Alby saw after several meetings, he harbored a very deep sorrow.

Alby doesn't know, he's a lecturer. He also studied a little psychology. Nazi is a doctor. The profession of doctors is required to always display calmness. Always smile and be friendly to all patients, even if they are in trouble. So, if the Nazis had been like that, it means that the problems they experienced must have been very complicated.

Alby tried to smile. “Doctors no patients?” Alby asked to distract.

Naziya glanced at his watch. “Oh, sorry, Mr. Alby, it looks like I need to get back to my room immediately. Soon there is a consul schedule with patients.”

Alby nods “Iya, please, doc.”

A moment later the Nazis passed. Alby looked at the gynecologist's back. He had seen a bruise in Nazi hands when the woman raised her hand.
