The Perfect Life

The Perfect Life
Episode 3

“Honey, we're going to mama's house, right?” Naziya reminded Zain of their dinner plan in order to be grateful for the achievements of his sister Vita obtained from his campus.

“I can't come. There was a big client invitation, so we'll just go this afternoon. I'll come pick you up.” Zain made a unilateral decision. “I've bought my favorite chocolate cake Vita.”

“Then can I still have dinner at my mom's house? You will have dinner with client.” The Nazis tried to persuade. He did not want to disappoint his sister because he had planned his show for several days.

“You came to dinner with me!” zain. His tone of voice did not want to be disputed.

“But, baby ..” heading Naziya “I don't know your client either. And I'm sure I can't keep up with your conversation. I'd better go to mama's house.”

“No reason!” Zain's voice tone was rising.

Naziya did not argue. There was no point in persuading Zain to say something like that. However, it is not Naziya if you give up just like that. He racked his brain looking for other plans to still be able to attend his family's dinner.

A new white Pajero Sport car enters the spacious courtyard of the Nazi parents' residence in Pondok Indah, one of Jakarta's elite housing complexes. The mediterranean modern-style house that occupies an area of almost 500 square meters seems quiet. Naziya surmises that her mother was alone with Vita and her father had not returned from his activities this afternoon. Today Murti-Yah Naziya is one of the successful entrepreneurs.

“Assalamu aleikum, Ma,” greet Naziya who saw his mother was watching in the family room. The Nazis greeted his mother, as did Zain.

“Waalaikumussalam,” reply Harti-Mother Naziya. He was surprised to see his son had come before the magrib. “Mana Naya?” Harti asked because he did not see the whereabouts of his grandson.

“Naya did not come, Zain picked me up at the hospital and came straight here. Which vita?”

Long live. Just asked directly nongol. “Loh, Brother, tumben come fast?” Vita's forehead is wrinkled.

Zain gave Vita chocolate cake. “Congratulations, Vit.” Zain congratulated.

“Still, Brother.”

“Sorry, Ma, Vit, surely you guys are surprised because we came early. I apologize for not being able to attend dinner because there was a sudden invitation from a big client later tonight. So I took the time to go home quickly and directly pick up Naziya, had not had time to take Naya at home.” Zain expressed regret and tried to explain the shock of his mother-in-law and sister-in-law.

Vita tried to smile, although inwardly resisted disappointment. She did not want to be considered as a sister-in-law who did not care about her sister-in-law's busyness. “Nothing, Brother. You guys take your time now, I'm happy.” Vita tried to smile.

Harti caught a disappointed tone at his son's speech. However, he did not want to interfere. He was actually a little sad, too.

“Papa not home?” Naziya asked as he banged himself on the sofa.

About fifteen minutes ago called, he said he was already on his way home,” replied Harti. He called his assistant to make a drink.

“Thank you for the chocolate cake, Kak,” said Vita who also sat down to join.

Shortly afterwards, footsteps entered the living room.

“It must be Papa,” terka Harti who has memorized the pressure of her husband's footsteps.

Not long ago a man of about sixty years old with a wide smile appeared in the living room. Hari Murti, owner of HANAKA Grub, one of the companies engaged in property developer.

“Zain and Naziya have arrived, huh? Day asked make sure. He saw his son-in-law's Pajero Sport car parked in the yard.

Zain who heard his father-in-law's voice immediately stood up. “Healthy, Pa?” Zain immediately greeted and kissed Hari Murti's hand.

Day smiled and patted her favorite daughter-in-law's shoulder. “Healthy, Where's Naya?” he asked while looking for the whereabouts of his grandson.

“So we haven't had time to pick him up, Pa. We're sorry, we haven't been able to have dinner tonight. There is a sudden invitation from a large client and can not be postponed.” Zain repeated the apology to his father-in-law.

Day smiled, but her heart was a little disappointed. He tried to understand the busyness of his son-in-law who is a young lawyer with a career that is skyrocketing.

“It's okay, Son. There's still time for dinner. You must meet your client's invitation.” Hari tries to cheer himself up as well as his wife and son who look also disappointed.

“Thank you for the understanding, Pa.” said Zain. “I have tried to shift the schedule, but can not because his schedule is very solid.”

Today, Harti and Vita smiled, nodding their heads as a sign that they understood Zain's situation.

Meanwhile, Naziya was busy looking for ways to stay and did not need to join her husband to dinner with his client.

“Your client is an individual or an organization?” Naziya asked.

“Individual,” replied Zain.

“What case?” The naziya asked again.

“Pollution good name and fraud.”

“Big client means famous person, dong.”

“Then surely the conversation is very secret. I better not come along, worried about making him uncomfortable with my presence. Poor Vita only accompanied by mom and dad. Later I ask Sarwo to bring Naya here.” The Nazis took a chance. He intentionally did so in front of both of his parents, knowing that Zain could not possibly resist in this situation.

Vita and Harti look at Zain with a face of sumringah, hoping that his son-in-law will grant the Nazi request.

Zain cursed in his heart. His wife was always keen to see the opportunity to force his desire. Feeling pinched, finally with a heavy heart he nodded approvingly.

Naziya smiled widely and immediately hugged her husband. “Still, dear.” He could not hide his happiness. Then he picks up his cell phone and calls Sarwo-their private driver to drive Naya to his grandparents' house.

“Then, I say goodbye now, worried about being late to see client.” Zain immediately said goodbye before his emotions began to peak.

“See you later, darling.” Naziya waved as Zain stepped up. She was so excited that she did not realize her husband's face was holding back anger.

Naziya is focusing on studying the medical records of patients he will operate on tomorrow. Suddenly the door of the room opened. A thin arch formed on her lips as she watched her husband enter. The tie has shifted and the position should be, the long sleeves of the shirt are rolled up to the elbows. Although the appearance of her husband looks agitated, in the eyes of Naziya she still looks charming.

“How's dinner, babe?” Naziya asked then inched from her seat intending to help her husband open the tie.

“What do you think?” Zain answered ketus.

Naziya looked at Zain's face. The man's jaw is hardened. He believes the man's aggravation was due to his refusal last afternoon to attend dinner with his client.

“I'm sorry, baby, I don't ..”

Plakk

Naziya had not yet finished his sentence. A loud slap directly landed on his cheek. The slap even knocked him down.

Naziya. Just this time Zain was rude to him he did not expect the man he had loved so much to do that to him. There was a pain in his chest that exceeded the heat in his cheek. It turned out that her married life was not as beautiful and perfect as others had imagined and seen so far.

“What?” Alby who was teaching was aghast after answering his mother-in-law's call. Her son fell out of bed and was rushed to the hospital. Alby instantly turned off his laptop and rushed out. “Sorry, I have to leave immediately. There's a sudden affair.”

Alby was driving with a bad feeling. In about 30 minutes, Alby had reached the hospital.

“Mas.” Rima ran straight to her husband.

“Where is the jungle?” Alby asked impatiently.

“Quiet, Son. Rimba is being treated by a doctor.” Riska tries to calm her daughter-in-law.

Alby's frustrated. Worrying. “How can this happen?” Alby asked Rima who was still sobbing.

“That's all my fault, Mas.” Rima is getting sobbing.

Alby embraces his wife. Trying to calm down in his arms.

Before long, Andri's doctor who was a pediatrician walked out of the room. “The patient needs blood as soon as possible, the bleeding on his head is quite severe. Coincidentally blood in the UTD is being unavailable for the patient's blood type.” Doctor Andri explained.

“I am his father, please take my blood.” Alby volunteered.

“Good please follow my nurse.”

Alby complies and follows a nurse to the blood transfusion unit.

“Please sit.” The nurse allowed. Then a doctor showed up. He then checked on Alby. “Sorry, sir, isn't the blood needed is blood type A? Father's blood type O.” The doctor asked to be sure.

“Means my blood type father is different from my son?” Doctor Andri did not ask first.

The doctor nodded.

“Des, inform your doctor to look for other blood. Blood that plan to be taken does not match.” The doctor told the nurse.

Alby stood with his body limp. Stiffened by another thought, but soon brushed it aside. Now, the safety of the jungle is more important than anything. He then returned to the ER where the jungle was handled.

“How, doc?” Alby asked when he arrived. He knew that Rima would not be able to donate blood because of her blood type B.

“There is a donor, he is heading here.” Doctor Andri informs.

Alby was a little relieved.

Rima and Riska looked at each other.
