The Poetry of the Butterfly Princess

The Poetry of the Butterfly Princess
Chapter 4: Not Him

I put my head on the door. The tiredness of possessing me is too strong. If there had been one more problem happening today, my soul might have been able to float out into nirvana.

Fortunately, my mother did not kill me. I didn't lie when I said Changyi's body was in a bad state. My sister probably thinks no one knows about her identity as a novel writer.

But I know how he always stayed up late working on his novels until dawn quietly. Anyway, I'm his brother. I knew him like my own palm.

Changyi did not like the crowd. He does not like to be the center of attention and only wants to be recognized from his work. My sister's been pretty good at hiding her identity for years.

Unfortunately, he couldn't fool me. His shrewdness could not surpass my cunning. Compared to Changyi, I was filled more fully with his lies than he was.

——He's no better than me. He is not an honest person either.

"Why did you bring me here?" Ask a man standing behind me. I turned my body, glancing at it from the tail of the eye. He was stiff, waiting for my answer.

I've never seen him act like this innocent man. He had no reason to be honest.

He's not Changyi - he's not someone I know. The person in front of me is not my sister. Rather, a con man who was using his skin. I'm sure about that now.

"Where's Changyi?"

The man shook his head slowly and said, "Sorry, I don't know where your sister is going"

"Don't lie you think I'll believe it?" My hands are clenched strong. I held back the emotions that dived inward. Observing him, he then answered me calmly:

"I have no reason to lie. I swear to heaven and earth all I said was honesty long ago"

The man looked at me without a doubt. He's not lying. Now I'm sure.

I was astonished how he could say such an oath. We are not in the Han dynasty or in a colossal drama film.

If I were in his position, I would definitely bury myself in the ground from embarrassment.

Moreover, he claimed to be a fictitious character from the novel that my sister wrote. Does he think he can draw my sympathies with that?

"So, are you some kind of crazy fan of my sister or something?"

"F, Fans? What'sthat?"

"Don't pretend to be stupid! You're... Tsk-It sucks!!"

The man was shocked to hear my screams. I can't describe the anger I'm feeling right now. If only, he didn't look like my sister, I would probably hit him to the brunt.

This person appeared before me suddenly as Changyi disappeared without a trace. I don't know where he went or how this situation happened. I felt like I was being played every time the man opened his mouth.

He's crazy and I really want to kick him out. Unfortunately, he was the only clue there would be to Changyi's whereabouts.

My brother disappeared and his whereabouts were replaced with this lunatic. I can't tell Mom because I know what's going to happen next. I don't want to see him cry.

I don't know what to do myself. I don't know how my sister is doing right now. I don't even know if he's alive or not.

I have failed to take care of Changyi.

"—— I'll kill you if Changyi dies. You better help me find him"
