CHAPTER 31. Burn All the Gifts

Evans, who was very uncomfortable with what had happened to Laura and about the whereabouts of Master Noel, asked George.

"Tell me! Has Master Noel ever shown her whereabouts to Laura before this?" evans asked in a curious tone of voice with a facial expression that showed high curiosity.

George, who had seen Master Noel helping Laura once before, nodded his head in response.

"I saw Master Noel helping Madam when Madam threw her body into the Lake. Back then, Master didn't even turn his head to even ignore Madam!" george said in a voice that sounded very honest.

Evans, who had been thinking that Laura was not getting any protection or assistance from the Glorious Empire, did not expect to get a shocking reality.

"Do you think His Highness the Crown Prince is aware of this?" asked Evans in a curious tone of voice.

"Know what you mean?" george asked with a puzzled facial expression with wrinkled eyebrows.

"That's it. I want to be alone. You can go now!" said Evans who did not want to be disturbed by others.

Evans, who was alone in his study, felt his head hurt and dizzy as his relationship with Laura deteriorated.

"The Crown Prince asked me to persuade Laura to want to ask Crown Prince Richard to agree to all the treaties he was given must have known that the Glorious Imperial Family had never forgotten Laura!" evans said in a confident-sounding tone of voice.

"If it's like that then I have to make up with Laura immediately. I can't disappoint the Crown Prince!" evans said with a serious facial expression as if he had made an important decision.

Meanwhile, Laura who used her Wind Power to listen to Evans and George's conversation didn't expect Evans to be a man who was so heartless.

"So the one who saved the owner of this body while drowning into the Lake was Master Noel while Evans who saw the incident just turned his face away and left!" laura said in a low voice with an annoyed facial expression with tightly clenched hands.

"Well! Why does it feel so annoying when I find out everything?" murmured Laura while laughing very loudly while closing her eyes with one hand.

"I won't falter and I won't retreat! I will avenge everyone in this House! I'll make everyone pay for everything!" said Laura with a very strong determination seen in both of her eyeballs.

The next morning, Laura who had just woken up from her sleep suddenly saw a huge pile of gift boxes inside her room.

Laura who could already guess the person who sent all of that became very angry and upset.

"Would my life be exchanged for these gifts? I will never help you persuade my brother. I'll make your good name broken in Crown Prince B***** that's*!"'s eyes!" laura said with an angry expression.

Shortly after Laura rang her bell, Rika who was ready with a basin to wash Laura's face came.

"Your Majesty, are you awake?What about your sleep, Your Majesty?" rika asked in a cheerful tone of voice with a gentle smile.

"I slept well but my day started with destruction!" laura said with an unhappy facial expression while staring at the pile of gifts that were in front of her eyes.

"Rika, get George here now! I want to talk to him!" laura said with a firm tone of voice after washing her face.

"Well, Your Majesty" Rika said in a submissive tone of voice and carried the basin of water and towel out of the room.

While Laura was standing and looking around at the gift box given by Evans, George suddenly appeared before Laura.

"Did the Madam call me?" asked George who lowered his head politely with a flat facial expression.

"What are these boxes? Who gave you all this?" asked Laura in a flat tone of voice.

"All of them were gifts sent by Mr. Count to the Madam as apologies!" george said in a relaxed tone of voice.

"Then send all this back. I don't need everything!" laura said in a cold tone of voice with a sharp eye.

"But-but Mistress... Master says these gifts can't be returned!" george said in a cautious tone of voice.

"Well! If I can't return it then I'll throw it all away!" laura said with a mysterious smile pointed towards George.

George who saw a very dangerous smile on Laura's face suddenly goosebumps and feels if his back feels very cold.

"Rica!" call Laura in a loud voice with a serious facial expression and a sharp eye.

"Yes, Madam. I'm here!" rika replied quickly and hurriedly then lowered her head obediently.

"Take out all these gifts and burn! Crush everything to dust! Let no one be left!" laura said with a firm tone of voice.

George who heard the order from Laura became very surprised and felt the atmosphere in the room was so hot that Geoge sweat a lot.

Laura, who did not want to see George standing before her, threw him out with a troubled expression.

After a few hours had passed, Laura who had finished getting ready came out to see all the gifts Evans had given her turned into ashes.

"Has everything been gathered here?" laura asked in a loud tone of voice with a cold facial expression.

"Yes Madam!" said all the servants standing before him with their heads bowed with obedient faces.

Laura who saw Tatiana among the servants standing before her was smiling with satisfaction especially when she saw Tatiana looking at all the piles of gifts Evans had given her.

“Look at all that. Those are all expensive and luxurious gifts you never got all this time, right? Now I will destroy everything to nothing!” laura said inwardly with an evil Sydney.

Laura who turned her gaze towards Knight John who was assigned to protect him since the incident Laura fell from the Horse Train was staring coldly at Knight John.

“You have no loyalty for me. You are only Evans' pet placed by my side to spy on me and not protect me because I will make you my slave!” laura said inwardly with a cold facial expression.

“Knight John!” call Laura in a flat tone of voice with an expressionless face as well as a straight forward eye gaze.

“Burn all those gifts! I want everything to be ashes! I want to see a very big fire!” laura said with a happy expression.

Knight John who was already confused by all the luxurious gifts gathered on the empty field became extremely shocked upon hearing the orders from Laura.

“A-what? Is Nyo-Nyonya sure to burn all these gifts?” knight John asked with an incredulous facial expression.

“Of course. Burn everything!” laura said in a straight and firm voice with a very cold eye.

“Are you not going to do as I say, Knight John?” laura asked with a face expression as cold as ice.

“Ti-no Mistress. I will do all your commands!” said Knight John who replied in a nervous and hurried tone of voice.

“Good! Then do it now! I want to see a very big fire!” laura said with a happy facial expression with a wide smile.

Knight John who saw a wide smile and a happy expression on Laura's face could only swallow her saliva and take a long breath.

“Yes, Gods! Hope nothing bad happens after this!” knight John said in a low voice with a fearful facial expression.

Right after the fire was ignited before Laura and devoured all the gifts into it suddenly a very loud voice came from behind.

“What are you doing? Have you gone crazy burning all those gifts?” shouted someone with a very loud voice and sounded very angry.
