CHAPTER 4. Laura's Letter

Laura who was finally able to calm herself back was sitting in her chair while drinking a glass of tea with Rika standing beside her and Master Noel sitting nearby.

“Master Noel! Do you think my Father and Brother will accept my apology if I say that now?” laura asked with a sad facial expression with a thin smile.

“If Your Majesty asks me that question then I will answer with certainty that the answer is yes! Not only His Majesty the Emperor and the Crown Prince even the entire Glorious Imperial People will definitely receive His Highness the Princess back happily!” master Noel said in a resolute tone of voice with a serious facial expression.

“I understand. In that case, can you please send my Apology Letter to my Father and Brother. I want to apologize to them directly but I can't so I just want to send a letter as his representative?” laura asked with a slightly doubtful facial expression.

The guards who heard Master Noel's words and saw Master Noel's badge had invited Master Noel into the Magic Tower.

“Welcome, Master Noel!” said the fellow Magicians who worked at the same place as him in the Glorious Empire Magic Tower.

“Thank you. I really want to get together and talk to all of you but right now I have an important message to send so I have to go now!” master Noel said in a very loud voice while saying goodbye to his comrades.

Master Noel who took one day to get to the Imperial Palace immediately asked Emperor Frederic to meet with his Adjutant.

“Deliver to His Majesty the Emperor, Master Noel in charge of protecting His Highness Princess Laura requests an audience meet because there is an emergency message to be delivered!” said Master Noel with a serious facial expression with a cold tone of voice and a very sharp eye.

Emperor Frederic's adjutant Adjutant Luke quickly puts Master Noel's request to top priority.

Luke's adjutant who learned that Emperor Frederic was meeting with some Imperial Officials immediately cut the meeting and delivered a Message from Master Nole.

“Your Majesty! Master Noel is back! He said that he held a very important message from Her Royal Highness Princess Laura!” adjutant Luke said in a low voice that only Emperor Frederic could hear.

Emperor Frederic who heard the words of his Adjutant quickly closed the Meeting and left the Meeting Room to meet Master Noel.

“Greet the light that shines on the Glorious Empire. May His Majesty the Emperor always be healthy and happy forever!” said Master Noel with a flat facial expression while lowering his head.

“Stop this formality. Lift your head and sit down. Tell me, what kind of emergency message does my daughter want to send me?” emperor Frederic asked with a serious facial expression with an extremely curious eye look with a very hurried tone of voice.

Master Noel who could not delay any longer showed the two letters that Laura had written and handed one of them to the Emperor.

“Your Highness, the Princess asked me to deliver this letter to Her Majesty the Emperor and His Highness the Crown Prince and this is a letter written by Her Highness the Princess to Her Majesty!” said Master Noel with a serious facial expression while putting the Letter into the tray carried by Adjutant Luke.

The Emperor, who was well aware that the Crown Prince would also be eager to read the letter written by Laura, asked his Adjutant to summon Crown Prince Richard.

Right after the passing of his Adjutant, Emperor Frederic opened the Letter slowly and read the contents carefully.

The word-for-word brought made Emperor Frederic change his facial expression and subconsciously show his weak side before Master Noel.

“My daughter! Don't worry! I will definitely help you!” emperor Frederic said with a serious facial expression with eyes full of longing and happiness.

The tightly shut door of the room suddenly opened, signifying the arrival of Crown Prince Richard.

“Dad! Is there really a letter from Laura for me?” crown Prince Richard hurriedly asked with a tone of voice that sounded very curious with an impatient facial expression.

“True. Be sitting. Adjutant!” emperor Frederic gave the order to Crown Prince Richard with a serious facial expression with a keen eye while giving the code to his Adjutant to hand over the letter Laura wrote to her Son.

Crown Prince Richard, who was as impatient as Emperor Frederic, read the letter and right after it was read, Crown Prince Richard showed an unusual reaction.

“In the Letter that Laura wrote she must have said that she wanted to come back and needed our help.” said Emperor Frederic who had not finished speaking but had been cut off by Crown Prince Richard.

“Therefore, let me go and bring Laura back, Father!” crown Prince Richard said in a stern voice.

Master Noel who saw Laura's condition with his own eyes decided to say something.

“Your Majesty, may I say something?” master Noel asked with a serious facial expression with a sharp eye.

Emperor Frederic and Crown Prince Richard who heard Master Noel's question turned to each other and reached a mutual agreement in silence.

“Say!” said Emperor Frederic with a firm voice and a cold facial expression and a hint of a curious glint of light on his face.

“In my opinion, let His Highness the Crown Prince go but..” said Master Noel who immediately emphasized his last words when the Crown Prince was ready to interrupt his words.

“Not by bringing Her Highness the Princess back but listening to the request of the Princess actually directly.
