TSM Chapter 23 - Disgusting Scam
"Okay, the mechanic's almost here, you guys go home first, I have to go back inside to prepare the coffee, it's gonna take a little while to fix it" Edlyn said, Arabella and Daniel, who were busy playing their phones, turned to Edlyn.
"It's okay Edlyn, we I'm waiting until your car is over, you're not having an appointment with your friends?" Ask Arabella.
Daniel nodded his head. "Yes, of course, the car show is just Sunday night dear," Daniel explained to Arabella and turned to Edlyn. "Just relax, we won't leave you alone."
Edlyn looked faintly clucked, she shook her head quickly. "No, you better get home, it's late, I know you two are in the morning shift tomorrow, right? I don't want to bother you, go home, I'll let you know if there's a problem" Edlyn said.
Arabella turned slowly to Daniel, then looked back at Edlyn uncertainly. "really? You have to promise to contact me if there's a problem, never hide it from me, remember!"
"Of course, Bella, you've come home" Edlyn said with a small smile, pushing slowly Arabella's body up to Daniel's motorbike. "Thank you for helping me keep the shop today, get some rest."
After saying goodbye, Arabella went home with Daniel, Edlyn opened her bag and took out the shop key, she had to make coffee for a mechanic who had been bothered by Edlyn at night like this.
But just as he opened the shop door, a car came, a man came down with his equipment. "Good night, Miss Edlyn?" Ask politely.
Edlyn nodded and smiled, pointing at the parked car in the shop and explaining the obstacles. While waiting for the mechanic to start working on Edlyn into the store, make a cup of coffee and then get out of the store.
“Thank you miss, but I have to say something that is not good,” he said slowly made Edlyn frown. “It looks like there should be some replaced, also the damage is quite heavy. If you don't mind I'll take him tomorrow to the workshop, maybe everything will take 3 days,” explained the mechanic.
Edlyn sighed softly, inevitably she had to use a taxi for the night, there was no way she would sleep in the shop, right? There's only a sofa in the study.
“Just arrived, how? Has your car started to be repaired?”
“Yes, and the damage is quite severe apparently, I will order a taxi first to go home, rest Bella, no need to worry about me, okay!”
Arabella did not answer, Edlyn could hear a conversation that was not too clear, and before long Arabella began to answer. “Please wait there, Daniel will pick you up,” replied Arabella.
“No need, I'm sure there's still a taxi tonight,” turn down Edlyn.
“No Edlyn, Daniel's way home through the store, wait a little while longer, don't order a taxi, your house is quite far away, I'm worried if you get the wrong taxi.”
“But Bella—“ The call was interrupted, Edlyn exhaled loudly, Arabella is stubborn, she does not want to be denied in the slightest.
Edlyn took back the coffee that had not been touched at all, the mechanic who had gone home also made Edlyn wait alone here. All the shops were already dark and only a few vehicles passed through the streets. “It looks like tonight I have to stay up,” kekeh Edlyn stared at the coffee she brought and went inside the store.
A few minutes later, the sound of rain was heard all of a sudden. Edlyn quickly checked out the window, a fairly heavy rain was visible. “Jeez, why should it suddenly rain?” Edlyn muttered, he felt bad for Daniel who had to deliver it first, this rain was quite heavy and better Daniel immediately continue his journey home when the rain stopped. He had decided to sleep in his workroom even though it was uncomfortable.
But just as he picked up his phone, the sound of the motor stopped outside. “Daniel?” Edlyn said in surprise, she opened the door and saw Daniel who was bored. “Come in first,” said Edlyn quickly.
