TSM Chapter 30 - Target Locked
They sat down at the table that Axton had appointed, a servant approached them. "Good day, ladies and gentlemen, we have some of the best lunch menus in town" the waiter said, opening two menu books for Arbella and Axton.
Just as Arabella was about to look through the list of menus in the hotel, Axton suddenly closed the menu and also Arabella, Axton gave back the menu to the waiter. "Give us the recommended menu, my lover has just arrived, I hope you choose a meal that does not disappoint him" said Axton then turned to Arabella. "Not so dear?" Ask.
Suddenly it made Arabella surprised, did he just hallucinate? A lover? Dear call? Arabella's forehead wrinkled faintly as she looked at Axton in horror. "Alright, then I will choose the best," said the plan politely.
Axton nodded slowly and looked at Arabella. "What's wrong?" Ask Axton.
Arabella seemed to shake her head quickly, she took her eyes off Axton's face. "No, I think I heard it wrong" Arabella said.
Not long after, Arabella heard the sound of a chair beside them sounding, the woman who had made Arabella uncomfortable seemed to walk towards their table. The confusion grew even more with Arabella. "Hi" said the woman. "Tonight I'm having my 6th boutique anniversary, if you don't mind I'd like to invite you" he said, handing a small card over the table.
Arabella looked at Axton's relaxed face, the man was not confused at all. Wait a minute, is that a sign that Axton knows this woman? And Arabella just got disrespectful to Axton's acquaintance? "We'll come if we have free time." Axton took the small card and seemed to read the writing on it.
The woman smiled slightly, more towards the forced smile. "Then excuse me, there are some things I have to do" he said. Axton just lifted his face and nodded slowly, the woman turned away from their table.
Arabella looked back at Axton, still confused by everything that happened. "Who is he?" Ask Arabella.
"Do you have to know?" Axton's reply was quite upsetting.
"Of course, you tell her the difference and you know her" Arabella said, not wanting to lose.
To Arabella's surprise, he blinked in disbelief. That woman was Axton's ex-lover? And Arabella just gave that woman a hateful look! Stupid, he was really making new problems, if one day Axton returned to the woman could have the woman reciprocated the actions of Arabella and made her life unsettled. "So that's why you called me—"
"Call you, baby? Are you happy with the new call?" Ask Axton.
Arabella quickly shook her head quickly. "No!" Arabella answered quickly, she almost had a heart attack hearing Axton being as gentle as before, and in fact she was just a tool to make Axton's ex-lover feel jealous? Really shitty guy!
"Of course, lest I call you like that again, I'm sure it's not too good for your heart" Axton replied with a chuckle.
"My heart? What's wrong with my heart?" Asked Arabella, he again thumped, Axton's handsome face with a naughty glint reappeared.
Axton looked at the elevator door that was still open, Aurora was still staring at the two of them. Axton looked back at Arabella's face waiting for an answer, he brought his face closer to Arabella's ears. "You can love me. And don't let that happen, Bella, you're just my prisoner" whispered Axton, who was somehow so attracted to that pretty face, he kissed Arabella's cheek softly and felt her body peck at him for a moment.
