Chapter 21 ~ Courteous Courtesy To Senior

The sun rises at 30 degrees. The beginning of a new day, it was time for the third level disciples to wake up for practice. After getting ready, Gao Ming walked out of his house and rushed to the training ground.

The training ground is empty. Gao Ming sighed then shook his head.

"Did those kids fall asleep? I can't keep getting soft on them, this time I have to punish them for coming to the training ground on time."

Gao Ming's steps continued until in front of the third level disciple dormitory. How shocked Gao Ming was, when he saw that almost all of the third level disciples had been sprawled in front of the dormitory.

Their bodies were shaking in exhaustion, their breathing was chaotic looking for oxygen. Where are all those always energetic disciples? They seem to have undergone extreme training.

In front of all the fallen disciples, Gao Ming saw an 8-year-old boy still standing and undergoing training. That brat was Li Yao, the newly joined third level disciple.

With his thin body, Li Yao lifted up two baskets full of large stones using an iron rod. Li Yao's legs rose up and down, his hands trembling withstanding the iron rod.

"9997!" li Yao exclaimed rather loudly. Each leg rose after descending, Li Yao continued to chant the numbers as an example so that the other disciples remained excited and did not want to lose.

"9998!"

Gao Ming was astonished at Li Yao's persistence. It was obvious that Li Yao had reached the limit and was extremely exhausted. However, the boy continued until he met his training target.

"9999!"

"10000!"

After saying the word 'ten thousand', Li Yao placed the iron rod with two baskets full of large stones onto the floor. The boy's eyes glanced at Gao Ming, before finally sleeping on the floor just like the other disciples.

"Actually, what has happened to you?" gao Ming asked the group of disciples who were right before him.

The students looked at each other, doubtful and frightened.

"Eh, why are they hesitating like that in front of me?" gao Ming asked inwardly.

Feeling that he would not get an answer, Gao Ming walked over to Li Yao who was lying down. Gao Ming's arrival made Li Yao instantly stand up, Li Yao knew Gao Ming would definitely question what he had done.

"Son, what have you done?" gao Ming asked somewhat astonishedly. It had only been a day since his arrival, but the boy had subdued all the third level disciples under his authority.

"It's just morning practice that we've decided to start from today. Since it's the first day, the brothers are all so excited that they push themselves too hard" Li Yao replied.

All the disciples behind Gao Ming's back were shaking their heads, they were all trying to tell Gao Ming the truth. As Gao Ming looked back, Li Yao smiled as he looked at them with malicious intent.

All the third level disciples were silent. Li Yao's terrifying smile was already engraved clearly inside their heads. They all did not want to look for any more trouble with Li Yao.

"Well, look at this! They were all afraid of the new students. How could they call themselves disciples of the Mountainous Road Sect? I had expected, I should discipline this wild new disciple," thought Gao Ming, looking back at Li Yao who was whistling shamelessly.

"Don't lie! How dare you. We Mountain Road Sect have its own rules. Who told you to sacrifice your sleep time for exercise?" gao Ming.

"We can become strong with the teachings of the Elders, but we can become stronger when there is effort from our own," Li Yao replied patiently.

"Then... "

"One month," Li Yao cut off.

"Please give me a month! I will definitely show the results of our satisfactory training to the Elders. Although this exercise is very heavy, the brothers still practice diligently without complaining at all" explained Li Yao.

Gao Ming looked back, seeing the reactions of the other disciples.

"Yes!" replied all of them limply, they were forced to answer so because of being threatened by Li Yao.

"They don't dare to complain in front of him, do they?" gao Ming said inwardly as he glanced at Li Yao.

Li Yao was indeed no ordinary brat, let alone after hearing the sect head's story. Li Yao's identity was extremely mysterious. Could Li Yao be the hope to awaken the Heavenly Road Sect? Gao Ming thought that it was best that he let the boy.

Even so...

"What comes first when it comes to your older brother?" gao Ming asked, he did not want Li Yao to be arrogant and disrespectful to his seniors.

The bodies of all the disciples in that place trembled, they did not believe that their coach would approve of the crazy boy's proposal.

The door on tap, Li Yao immediately introduced himself. Not long after, Sect Leader Tao Zhen invited Li Yao to enter. Li Yao re-entered the simple room.

Inside the room, Tao Zhen was standing looking at the surroundings of the Mountain Road Sect through the window. The special room of the sect head was indeed built in a high place, in order to be able to keep an eye on the entire sect.

"What's up, kid? Why are you visiting me?" dao Zhen asked, he turned around and looked at a boy who had just entered his room.

"I want to discuss something with the chairman," Li Yao replied.

"Oh, what do you want to talk about?" dao Zhen asked as he stroked his beard which was still black, feeling interested.

"I want third level disciples to stop practicing with the Cloud Penetrating Sword Technique and the Basic Technique of Traveling to the Mountain. They should focus on practicing using the Basic Technique of Starting a Journey!"

Tao Zhen's eyes widened, he did not expect Li Yao to want to discuss such an important matter.
