Chapter 53 ~ Breaking Promise

A flash of light moved towards Huli who was running fast. Huli was surprised, her small waist suddenly caught and then lifted by someone from behind. When Huli turned her head, she saw a pitiful bald man smiling at her.

That smile gave Huli goosebumps.

"Take me off!" huli said angry and afraid, he thrashed trying to escape with all his might.

The bald man was none other than Cheng Lei.

After conducting a search for weeks, Cheng Lei finally arrived at the Blue Cloud City. At first Cheng Lei thought that the monster terrorizing the city was the demon he was looking for, but he was wrong.

Huli's breathing choked, her neck and lungs were extremely tormented. The little girl's body thrashed, her hands trying to let go of Cheng Lei's giggling but in vain. He could feel death slowly approaching him.

"Cheng Lei, you haven't changed a bit since I left the Monastery!"

A familiar voice suddenly entered into Cheng Lei's ears. Cheng Lei turned his head and found a burly man already next to him. The man had an extremely bushy mustache, who else would the man be if not Deng Xue.

"Teacher knows that I'm innocent" Deng Xue replied calmly.

"Why should you just be quiet when you're thrown out contemptuously? Though you are the strongest candidate for the position of the next Abbot." Cheng Lei continued asking.

"I'm tired of facing this world."

"S*****! If only I had talent like you."

Those were the last words that Cheng Lei said.

After saying that the figure of Cheng Lei in an instant instantly disappeared. Deng Xue sighed, he had just broken a promise to never use his strength.

Huli got up then glanced at Deng Xue with a probing look.

"Go home! No evil uncle will follow you" said Deng Xue and turned around, wanting to go towards the ongoing fight.
