The Rival Beside Me

The Rival Beside Me
Dinner

Lala's getting ready to see her father rise. Shortly before his departure, Sani comes to visit to see Lala's condition and asks about Lala's wedding plans with Bangkit. Lala told me everything. And Lala added that she was going to see Daddy Rise. Sani, who had met Bangkit's father, told Lala if it was not easy to melt Mr. Sanjaya's heart. Risen Dad could have smiled but was far different from the look of his very sharp eyes.

Sani's words were right, Lala had also been able to guess in advance what would happen when she met her future father-in-law. Awakened father did welcome him well, but his words were able to pierce the hearts of anyone who heard him.

When Lala came, Mr. Sanjaya was having lunch. He asked Lala to explain what Rise was like for him and continue eating. Everywhere is not polite, if someone comes to see the host just ignore it. Mr. Sanjaya really looks haughty in front of Lala. He tried to impress Lala. Completely different from his Risen Grandmother, Bu Ratih, who was always friendly.

“For me, He's like a naughty seven-year-old. Parents who raise children say when a child is seven years old, they will do things that their parents hate. But because of their son's mischief. Will they hate their own children? This is love and hate for Us, but now one's hatred will disappear and all that remains is love.” Lala replied at length.

“What because He said he wanted to get married?” ask Dad to rise and stay focused on the food.

“It doesn't matter if We don't get married, if in the end his relationship with both his parents will be fine." Answer Lala.

“How about your willingness to let Him go?” Ask Dad to Rise.

“I've done it but I've failed." Obviously Lala remembers He always tried to keep Risen out of his life.

“Then you want to follow his will now? Do you think this is all for the good of the person you like? From what I've seen, you act like you can't win from Rise and pull yourself back and let Him advance forward.”

“I believe you can persuade him much better than I. Honestly, I gave up. If you can get Him to decide on his plan to marry me now, then I'll step down. I promise." Lala did not want to argue.

“Are you going to say this to him?”

“I didn't tell him, if you ask me to meet today." Answer Lala.

“Alright, if you want to get married then it should be. If you say you like it even when He does something ugly, then I will give you a Rise. So go ahead and bring Him to live with you. I've said what I want to say, please leave. Honestly, I'd rather you come to Our house as a workwoman who can be rewarded for achievement, than as a daughter-in-law. I've heard about your family too. Thank you so much for taking the time to meet." Obviously Mr. Sanjaya ended the conversation.

Lala came home, but felt there was something strange with Mr. Sanjaya's approval for their wedding plans. How Mr. Sanjaya easily agreed to their wedding plans. But his words seemed ambiguous to be interpreted as agreeing

...***...

Elsewhere Risen himself was spending time with his friends. He met Eko and John. When John was busy announcing the wedding plan that would be held in a few months, Risen said if it was possible he was the first to get married.

"Who?" Ask Eko curiously.

Rise up and answer proudly.

“ Lala."His friends were obviously surprised, instead they were like Tom and Jerry when they met. How could they get married.

" You must be kidding." John did not believe.

" I'm serious. " Rise Up full of emphasis.

"What about your engagement?" Ask Eko who already knew that Bangkit was engaged to Devina.

" I've canceled it once I'm healed and remember everything."

" Well, as a friend I can only pray for you. I hope it's the best decision for you."

" Thank you." Answer Rise.

And they were seen coming out of the cafe around ten p.m.

But in another place. Hani's mother as her mother Rise directly to her husband.

" He is good but his origin is totally unacceptable."Answer Mr. Sanjaya

" But both of his foster men had raised him well. Lala looks very polite in her upbringing as a woman, even though she's just an adopted child." Hani's mother defended her considering that Bangkit looked much better when she was with Lala.

Just as Mr. Sanjaya was about to reply, the sound of the house bell managed to stop their conversation. Their talks resumed but this time focused on Bangkit and his Father.

" I've met the woman of your dreams. I don't think he's cut out to be our son-in-law's candidate." Said Mr. Sanjaya.

But Bangkit tries to persuade his father if Lala is a good girl. And Risen felt unable to live without Lala.

" Okay, I agreed to your marriage, but on condition that you leave this house." Said Mr. Sanjaya made Bersikan and his mother surprised.

Rise up to his room with an annoyed look. A few minutes later, his mother followed.

" Is Lala more important than your parents?"

Ask his mother who felt unbearable if she got up out of the house.

" I cannot live with you, I have a life of my own and will definitely marry. But there's no way I'm marrying someone I don't love like you want Ma. It's okay I'm out of this house, the important thing is that I've approved." Rise calms his mother's heart.

Hani's mother only seemed resigned to the decision of her son. And out left the Risen being seen thinking.

Rise up call Lala.

" Have you met my father?"

" Yes, I intend to tell you when we meet."

" I miss you." Saying Rise suddenly.

"You why?" Tanya Lala felt something strange with the words Rise.

" You know, you're everything to me." Increase Rise.

" Yes I know." Lala replied still cluelessly with a Risen speech that seemed to be covering something up.

Rise up and say good night and turn off the phone to Lala.

He seemed to start cleaning up his things. It seems like her decision to marry Lala is inviolable. His father also still has Andra, who is much more dear to him than he is.

Hani's mother was certainly sad to see their son leave the house. And her husband did not try to prevent her or change his decision.

" Mom will always miss you." Said Hani's mother while hugging Bangkit.

Before going out Bangkit did not forget to say goodbye to his grandmother who until now always supported him.

" Remember, Grandma always supported you. I'm sure your dad will change his mind." Grandma said.

Rise up just nodding and hugging her grandmother.
