The Saint Class Reincarnator

The Saint Class Reincarnator
CHAPTER 31: THE SLEEPING SAINT

Someone once said that there will come a time when regrets come. Whether it was at the beginning of their lives or at the end of their deaths. No one knows, but it has predictable possibilities.

The emblem of the light fell from the body of the figure. It was as if hope had abandoned itself and became a bead of light to help the sky shine. From afar they rushed to run towards the noblest star that was about to fall to the ground.

The smell of blood and burning can still be smelled by the nose. The ground was wet and filled with traces of battle in passing just like that.

He who has a curse surfs in the air with his black mist.

He who was aware that he had been unconscious for a long time ran as fast as possible like a light crossing a hollow crater path.

The next moment the two of them jumped at the same time and caught the hope of falling.

“Al!”

“Alvius!”

A pale figure of Alvius with a state full of blood leaked all over his body. The remains of her angelic transformation left behind a trail of white feathers flying as if declaring an end to life.

At that time they simultaneously caught a helpless skinny little body. But, why...

“Al...”

There was no response.

“Alvius... Saint Alvius.”

Heros hands could feel how pale and cold the little hands were.

They were conscious without even having to talk further or shake this small body. Tears washed over Yohan's face and so did sobs coming from Heros.

The messages they sent for their ruler, for the one who had seen them had been returned with a short response.

[No reply from ‘Monarch of Diligent’]

[No reply from ‘Master Faithful’]

Skill as if representing their feeling that the figure that is now lying in the future can not wake up. Whether it's temporary or maybe, never will be.

The lack of magic power is not trivial if done dramatically. As a Saint, as a representative of the world. There is no need to be called a hero and there is no need for excessive titles. Even with a single title, his life and death were predictable.

Yohan's trembling hands clasped tightly onto the hands of someone she had always referred to as a younger brother. He lost her once. Now does he lose again.

Light, light, hope. For Heros it was Alvius. But now, why did he look so much in pain more than anyone. He doesn't want to lose her, he wants her, he wants to be with her. Because he's just starting a new story in his life.

Heros, not sure if he could survive without that light again now.

People watched the end of it all and a notification screen floated above the sky.

[‘Dungeon Sabnock Level-A+’ has been successfully completed!]

[The barrier pillar will soon disappear.]

There was a light crumbling and rumbling sound from the sky and the ground. The dark walls holding them hostage all let out cracking sounds and then shattered into pieces. The ground where they set foot changed. The corpses of monsters and curses around disappeared like removal.

The view immediately changed. From a place like hell. Now that they had returned right where they had initially been unable to escape, the Lindon Holy Church was in front of the temple.

“We survived?!”

“We congratulations! Hurray!!”

People are overwhelmed, crying, and happy too. After thinking their lives will end horribly where despair and destruction accompany them. A hell in which eternity exists without a glimmer of hope. Now look, everyone's safe.

Without using Appraisal, it can be calculated that there are no victims at all.

Is that really what can be counted. Didn't this party lose one...

“A-what, how can?”

Director Sarion and several Priests and High Priests ran immediately to the location. They did not believe that the forcibly opened Dungeon had been settled. The Dungeon's level was not low level but high. Director Sarion stared at the scene of the victims hesitantly for a moment and he was finally able to breathe.

“No fatalities... They all survived the tragedy without anyone getting hurt.” staring at it he could be relieved, yet also he could not let his guard down. “Check everyone and treat if anyone gets hurt!” he immediately gave orders to all the Priests who were there to help the victims from their trauma.

However, Director Sarion felt awkward. From earlier he did not see one person who sometimes made him upset and could not calm down because he felt threatened. Director Sarion's pupils search and search. Of every victim, of the place where they stand. He finally found it.

Director Sarion flinched. ‘Why the two men looked sad.’ he slowly walked there. His legs were trembling and his chin was going up and down.

Right, from the start this was weird. The fact that no one is injured is an impossible phenomenon. Demons, ferocious monsters that could not be judged were able to kill all the victims in the Dungeon then why were there no casualties or injured despite the slight scratches.

Director Sarion ran in that direction, passively his mind working in a bad possibility.

“What happened—!?” Director Sarion who arrived with a panicked expression grew even more wide-eyed. “Saint! What happened to him?!”

He immediately saw Alvius' condition more clearly and tried to detect his heartbeat and then with his magic he studied Alvius more deeply. Lastly, he could not help but calm down and his pupils trembled.

“The energy is very weak, the heartbeat is even very weak and can hardly be heard beating or not. Take her to the health room!”

He could not feel any strong life marks from Alvius' body. His face grew pale and full of wounds on his body. His condition was very weak, his defense system was likely to have dropped drastically and it was dangerous. If this continues then, the worst is likely to happen.

The priests came and helped to lift Alvius' body on a stretcher. Yohan and Heros who still could not let go of his hand in a bad condition.

“Director... What bad thing is going to happen!?” never in his life did he look so sad like this. Director Sarion could not answer with certainty and he shook his head.

Alvius' white limp left hand was held tightly by Yohan, in a tormented tone he declared. “Please save him. My sister, she has done her best for everyone's safety. I beg you, please don't let him go.”

Half his soul seemed to be torn apart. His other life was lying weakly on the stretcher, what could he do?

Heros slowly put Alvius' right hand back between his chest and the look of sadness was still vivid. He knows he can't help anything. Because he is the curse itself.

“Senior just has to get stronger. Stronger than now. If senior becomes a feared figure then there will be no one who dares to make fun of you again.”„

“Just think about what it's like to sharpen a sharper sword to be very sharp than others. If the person who thinks the senior curse is a terrible disease. Then I will be the first to say ‘Not what’, even to senior curse.”„

Heros bit his lips until blood forced out of his lip skin. His hands formed fists and he lowered his head. Tears flowed from her two beautiful eyes.

‘If I were stronger... If only I were strong I could protect and take care of him. Though, Alvius told me that everything ‘Akan’ is fine.’

All of Alvius' words were stored in his memory. It was like a spell for him to no longer fall to the bottom of the abyss of suffering. He had Alvius by his side, there was no need for him to fear. As long as the light is not dim.

“Director.” Heros rubbed his eyes firmly and his face became firm. Then he bowed in front of Director Sarion. “Please save Saint Alvius!”

“I can't promise. However, I will try my best to save him. You two are pretty badly hurt. Rest and treat your wounds. You guys should wait patiently.”

Director Sarion gave a smile. Hoping that the two children in front of him could see that hope might exist, so they should not give up either.

“I Sarion Ulysey, Director of the Lindon Holy Church, thank you very much for your contribution for protecting everyone.” and she bowed lowly only in the presence of these two children. It was an unexpected thing that came suddenly, yet Heros and Yohan chose a respectful bow.

The next second Director Sarion and the Priest who had brought Alvius rushed off to the infirmary.
