The screams of Midnight
Mbok Jum's Regrets

He returned home in a state of annoyance. He did not expect that one of the villagers turned out to have unusual magic.

"Mbok Jum!"

"Nggih ndoro," the woman was moved closer to Asih.

"Where's mom?!"

"There is a room especially ndoro," he replied by bowing his body.

Asih clucked in annoyance, he left Ardi alone in the living room with mbok Jum. Ardi could not do much, he could only sigh and sit sweetly on the sofa.

"Den Ardi want me to make you some coffee?" Mbok Jum asked.

"Boleh mbok," he answered softly.

Mbok Jum leaves Ardi alone. The sound of a ticking clock broke the silence of the room. Ardi's restless. The conversation in the shop scared him a little. He tried to remember when Rudi was killed.

Ardi assured himself that there was no evidence left there. To convince himself, Ardi again turned the seconds Rudi picked up his death. Ardi must be sure nothing is missed.

TAAK!!

The sound of impact of a hard object like a rock hit the window glass. Ardi jumped in shock. He was searching for the source of the sound. Ardi was sure the sound was coming from the big window on the right.

TAAK!!

The voice rang out again, Ardi walked over to the window. Slowly shake the curtain. He's surprised not to be upset, mbok Ratem is out there. He stared intently at her without expression.

Ardi shuddered in horror, Mbok Ratem with his old face so terrible when viewed from the second floor of the house Bu Lasmi. His hands trembled, fear creeping through his body. Roughly he closed the curtains and sat back down on the sofa. Cold sweat washed over his body.

"Den," Jum's greeting shocked Ardi, he let out a small scream.

"Mbok, don't ngagetin dong!"

"Sorry den, here's the coffee!" Mbok Jum looked at the window and asked, "What's out there? Why is Ardi so scared?"

Ardi did not reply, his hand grabbed the coffee cup by shaking and drinking it. "There's nothing! Don't do it anymore!"

Ardi drove Jum away from him. He chose to close his eyes for a moment to eliminate the fear and anxiety that struck.

Meanwhile, in a separate room, Asih met Miss Lasmi who was meditating.

"What's wrong?" Miss Lasmi asked without opening her eyes.

"Who's the old granny in the village, ma'am?"

Ms. Lasmi opened her eyes and ended her semen. "Mbok Ratem, he's the elder in the village. Why are you asking for him?"

"He was bothering me!" Answer with annoyance.

"Avoid him, lest we deal with him!" Miss Lasmi gave a warning.

"He threatened me earlier, it seems he knows about us!" Just complaining.

"You must be careful. Once he's on the line, then he won't let you go!" Ms. Lasmi spoke again, her hand sprinkled powder on the prapen.

White smoke billowed ever more densely in the room. His mouth was muttering for a moment with his eyes closed.

"Tomorrow it's Legi Friday, have you prepared everything? Don't forget!"

Asih nodded, Miss Lasmi said again. "The next rubber will come tomorrow afternoon, meaning there are two more! Finish everything neatly!"

"Good Mom, I've also prepared a new fresh mash. Hope it works this time!" Highlight Asih's eyes were fixed on his stomach that was still flat. He really hopes that Ardi's seed can grow in his womb.

Tomorrow has entered my fertile time, I will tease her again and again!

The mind is again filled with misguidance. He wanted to immediately renew his agreement with the female genie who became his ally. That way, wealth and beauty will always be obtained easily.

Asih no longer care about the lives of the two men who are now languishing in her swab. His revenge was one step away. Asih will kill them in the near future or maybe .. torment them so that they do not want to live anymore.

******

The next day, Mbok Jum had prepared food to take to the old warehouse behind the house.

"This is the food, I want to bring it or …,"

"Let me take him there mbok!" Suddenly he appeared in the kitchen.

He took over a tray of food and drink for his captives. His face looks radiant. Ardi wanted to help her but Asih refused.

"Let me alone, it's time they knew who they were dealing with!" A demonic smile appeared on Asih's face.

Mbok Jum shook his head looking at Asih's behavior. He wanted to remind the girl he loved so much. Mbok Jum's tears melted, powerless to resist sadness.

Miss Lasmi saw Asih out of the house to her old warehouse, she noticed a smile that could not be separated from the face of Ayu Asih.

"Ndoro," mbok Jum approached Bu Lasmi who was still watching Asih from behind the window.

"What's the mbok?"

"This has gone too far ndoro, I .. do not have the heart to see Asih becoming more and more!" Mbok Jum's voice was choked by his sobbing.

Miss Lasmi sighed, she looked at Mbok Jum who rubbed her cheek with the back of her hand.

"Asih chose her own path mbok, I just helped her. He determines which destiny is his life choice!"

"But ndoro, this is overkill! Asih I know mboten kados niku ...," (unlike that) his words were cut off with a cry of grief.

Ms. Lasmi approached mbok Jum, gently rubbed her back and passed leaving mbok Jum while saying.

"The truth cannot come back. The deal is done!"

All that is heard is a sobbing of sadness mbok Jum. He still counts his own nephew. He was very sorry and disappointed to ask for help from Ms. Lasmi.
