The sun has not yet appeared on the eastern horizon but a tinge of orange has been seen adorning the sky. The weather was cold and foggy that morning. A remote village at the foot of the mountain began to wriggle.
Villagers who are mostly vegetable farmers began to come out of their homes to their fields. Mbok Kar, opened his wares in a small shop located on the edge of the forest.
For almost ten years, he has sold various fried foods, coffee and instant noodles for nature lovers and locals. With the help of his oldest grandson, Sumini, who was only 21 years old, Kar arranged the merchandise in a small shop with woven bamboo walls.
"Sir, you've gone to the market yet to buy tempeh, tofu same vegetables?" Mbok Kar reminded his grandson while arranging traditional snacks for some villagers.
"Sampun Mbah, everything is ready inside!" Sumini answered half-screaming for being in the small kitchen.
Sumini is keeping the fire stable. The water she boiled was almost ripe, so Sumini chose to stay in the kitchen while preparing a frying pan. The temperature is quite cold makes it lazy to move from Pawon (a simple kitchen that uses wood fuel), he feels at home lingering in front of the fireplace to warm the body.
"Mbok, one sweet coffee!"
Wardi, one of the villagers who was going to the field took the time to stop by the mbok Kar stall.
"I also mbok but the coffee is just a link, because I'm already sweet!" His fellow farm worker Imam joined in waiting for the sun to rise higher.
"Let's wait a minute, very early in the morning you're here! Banyune wae durung ready!" Mbok Kar answered and lowered the long bench assisted Wardi and Imam.
"Mumpung is still morning mbok, the spirit is still passionate for work! But stomach angetin first!" sahut Cardi.
"Halah alesan Kowe War, I do not understand you guys meh ndelok kutuku sing ayu to?!" Mbok Kar meredek Wardi and also Imam.
"Weh, our mode of War!" The priest laughed at the question which was at the same time Kar's statement.
"Piye mbok, don't want bojo tah si Sumini?" ask the Imam.
Mbok Kar just laughed and shook his head. He was already mafhum with the behavior of two ignorant young men who became his regular subscription. Mbok Kar left both of them to Pawon and intended to make coffee orders Wardi and Imam.
"Mam, have you heard the howling of a coyote these past few days?" Cardi asked with a mouth full of food.
The priest plucks one of the snacks wrapped in sweet coconut grated, then answers the question Wardi.
"Yes, I heard. Horrified yo almost every night that howl was a whimper, I got goosebumps in War! Don't you dare to leave the house!"
"Here, wong lanang kok wedi!" Wardi mocked the Imam, he continued his words. "You feel strange, the sound of howling happened since .. sek ketoke ki if I don't remember wrong since the magnificent house at the end there began to be inhabited!"
"Ah mosok anyway? You don't spread the danger War's lies! Later the villagers even assume the same strange new citizens!"
"Yes, too, but I'm sure Mam I really do!"
"Well, if you don't really have to be wrong?" The priest was still coolly peeling the banana peel in his hand, he glanced at Wardi for a moment before stuffing the banana into his mouth.
"Mam, actually I ...," the words of Wardi were cut off when the incense was heard shouting loudly one of the residents accompanied by a clanging sound.
"Corpse, corpse! There's a body in the river!" The sound of screaming broke the silence of the village, diverting the concentration of the field workers.
"Corpse .. corpse, please! There's a body in the river!"
The cry was heard again, apparently the village hansip who was shouting around looking for help. When the village hansip arrived in front of the mbok Kar warung, Wardi asked.
"Sir Hansip! Is there a body?!"
"Yes, War will help me find help from the people!" sahut Pak Hansip with hasty breath, sweat flooded his body, he was afraid and also tired from running around to call the villagers.
Wardi and Imam immediately stood up, grabbed the kentongan hanging in the mbok Kar stall and followed Hansip's steps.
"Mbok, I help Mr. Hansip first we will return here again!" The priest did not forget to shout at the Kar mbok who had prepared two cups of coffee their order.
"Bok, I wasn't wrong, was I? Mbok's body, really cool!" Sumini followed Kar mbok in front of the stall.
"Ho oh nduk, I'm yo wedi! Let's wait for the next news! Wes kerjo neh nduk!" Mbok Kar invites his grandson to return to Pawon to prepare warm fried foods for his customers.

Mr. Kades closed his nose tightly with a handkerchief, two lifeless bodies that were now no longer intact lying in front of him.
One was on the banks of a river with the body partially submerged in water and another splattered its body on a boulder.
"Astaghfirullah Al adziim, who would kill them?" muttered pak kades who was sliced with the condition of the corpse.
"Pak Kades sure they were killed? Not a victim of a wild animal in the forest?" Mr. Haji Abdul asked shortly after hearing Mr. Kades mutter.
"You were preyed upon, they should have been found in the woods there, right? And there's a possibility that they're far apart, because one of them clearly and definitely ran away when he saw his friend being attacked!" Mr. Kades tried to assume even though he himself was less sure of his opinion.
"We wait for the authorities, those who know whether this is a murder or a predatory beast."
The crowd of curious villagers wanting to see the corpses made the location of the discovery crowded. The usually deserted river is now filled with people.
We waited a long time for the police to come. Police line is laid out to secure TKP. Mr. Kades and his staff and Mr. Hansip were also questioned.
Residents whispered and muttered, watching police officers identify the body from a distance. They did not realize there was someone who seemed to be panicking and agitated. He bit his nails, and trembled to walk here and there.
The young man in shabby clothes and the cypress face slowly approached. His breath hunts and occasionally stares pusar towards the corpse of a fly.
"No .. no way," he stuttered and continued to shake his head.
"No, ma'am, I'm a ghost, a demon! Faithful!" He shouted again while pointing towards the corpse.
The man here and there running around the scene made the police officers confused because they were worried about damaging the CTF.
"Catch him fast!" order one of the officers in free clothes.
Mr. Kades who saw the young man immediately intervened curled up the half-crazy young man named Eman.
"Man, Eman .. here! Don't run, come with me!"
Eman dodged with eyes that could not be seen the corpse. He shook his head and shouted, "Devil, demon! There's demons!"
With great difficulty, finally Eman was caught with the help of some residents. Mr. Kades tried to calm Eman who kept shouting.
"Devil, it's the devil!"
"Calm Man, relax! Come with me home!" said Mr. Kades memapah Eman who was forced to be tied with a white cable ties like a prisoner.
Eman stopped and looked back at the corpse while pointing towards the corpse.
"Ba-bajang .. ba-yi bajang! They're the victims of a naked baby! Baby clothes!" he shouted with his head continuing to look up, towards the high cliff across there.
"Take him to the village hall!" mr. kades' orders to his subordinates.
Eman continued to wriggle and tried to look towards the river even though the officer had stopped. His voice sounded loud and still called out the same word, brat.
Unbeknownst to others, one settles into a precipitate and hides behind a bush. Noticing the situation on the river and also Eman who kept looking towards him.
"Bad!"
