The screams of Midnight

The screams of Midnight
Asih the Killer

Budi and Andi had just arrived at Wak Haji's house when one of their colleagues handed out a single bendel copy of the report from the unidentified bodies found.

"Is everything complete?" Ask a female co-worker who just arrived from the city.

"Yes sir, everything is here, complete!"

"This is the result of the first three bodies, the time of death varies the longest about five months ago, the sex of men, the age of about 50 years, from the item attached to her body it was strongly suspected that she was named Tirta," the short-haired woman explained.

"Tyrs?" Let's go back to asking.

"The villagers next door are missing, some recognize the clothes and also the necklace worn."

"His family?"

"Ehm, not sir! He claimed to be Tirta's lover."

You frown, "Love? In your 50s? It's great!"

"Have the data been matched with the family?" Budi asked with eyes staring at the rows of numbers and words in the file.

"Already but we just got the result one more week, at the earliest about three or four days away."

"The second male, about twenty years old, he was reported missing three months ago by his family, the result of identification likely named Samuel, recorded as a college student in the city."

"Then the third one?" Andi this time asked, he scratched behind his itchy ears after examining the corpse of the Warni

"A woman, her identity is unknown, her age is about twenty years. Looking at his condition when found that has not yet become a skeleton, it is likely that he was killed one or two weeks ago."

"Everybody died from a height? Maybe they killed themselves? Given its location is very far from settlements, such as those in the haunted forest in Japan, Aokigahara." Andi.

"Might climbers slip too, right?" Be willing to give another choice. Andi looked at him while shaking her head. "This path is not included in the path of pandakian!"

Budi carefully watched the investigation copy of the corpse without identity in his hands. He remembered Arif.

"Where is Arif, what information do we get?"

"His condition is not stable, he is still in severe shock. Sometimes we talk, we wait a few more days. Advice from the doctor so sir." Mita paused for a moment and then spoke back.

"He always mentioned Clara and Lisa."

"When I met that night she also called Clara's name." Remember what happened that night.

"Unfortunately that woman named Clara, is dead sir!" Mita said with a wry smile.

"Huh, what? Dead?"

Mita nodded, "A few days ago Clara committed suicide from the same hospital top floor as Lisa."

"If Clara kills herself, Lisa has heart failure. I suspect there's something between these kids, a connection that got them killed."

"Hmm, so remember the same male occupants of the luxury house near the forest. His name was Ardi," Budi stared with a complicated expression and then said again. "She also mentioned Clara's name when she received the call."

"The ardi? Wait for the young man with the same cute girl huh? The body, like?" Andi wrapped his hands to form the body of a beautiful woman like a Spanish guitar.

"Well, I followed him to his house, but there were grandmothers who denied me the house. He said it was dangerous, just as I wanted it again Grandma's gone!"

"What, lost! Seriously you, ghost times him?! So it's a serem!" Andi rubbed his nape.

"The name is mbok Ratem!" The heavy voice of someone suddenly sounded. The hajj goes into the house.

He brought drinks and food for his guests

"He's the guardian of this village, the village elder!"

"Oh I thought I was hallucinating yesterday" said Budi staring at Wak Haji with a sense of wonder.

"She's terrible, scary, but kind." Wak Haji sitting next to Andi, he glanced at the photos of the corpse in Andi's hand.

His eyes immediately rounded when he saw the photo of the necklace still attached to one of the skeletons.

"It's right!" Wak Haji, suddenly just took a photo from Andi's hand.

"Eyeh, Wak!" Andi protested but Wak Haji's hand had already drawn the photo.

"Tyrs! This is Tirta's necklace, does that mean this corpse is Tirta?!" Wak Haji looked at Budi asking for an answer.

Wak Haji put the photo on his desk, he let out a short sigh and said. "Tirta was my best friend, a chess playmate and also .. temen looking for a widow," Wak Haji raised his eyebrows, rubbed his mustache while rolling his eyes at Mita.

Andi and Budi smiled at Wak Haji's behavior which was exactly like ABG looking for a partner.

"Tirta disappeared after saying the same thing I wanted to go to the city. He said he wanted to find his name like this," Wak Haji's hand swerving to form the number eight.

Budi and Andi looked at each other, they found a new clue. "Do you know the name of his nephew?"

Wak Haji frowned trying to recall, "Who yes, duh why did I forget the name of the girl! He told me once, he said ehm .. aah, I don't want to talk about it! That's his privacy! What's clear is that he's the same niece that's been playing!"

Budi mangosteen trying to understand the information of Wak Hajj. "While reporting that his girlfriend Tirta is missing, Wak Haji knows who he is?"

Wak Haji instead of answering and laughed out loud, "Yes clearly know that Irah, my widow-to-be-target! It's a shame she's in love with Tirta until she doesn't want to accept my love!"

The three members of the police also chuckled, Wak Haji at his fairly old age still looks handsome with a tattoo decoration on his left hand. The sturdy body and abundance of property make it a highly respected vegetable spawn in the village.

"Wak Haji knows a beautiful girl who lives in a luxurious house near the forest?" Asked Andi, he was quite curious about the figure of Asih.

Wak Haji took one sweet snack on the plate, "That's his adopted daughter Miss Lasmi, he said anyway, if not wrong Asih name."

Wak Haji poured warm tea into each glass for his guest then again said, "There is a strange same girl, I had seen his strange gaze when met with mbok Ratem."

Wak Haji's expression turned serious, "Mbok Ratem doesn't seem to like the girl, I feel the same way as him."

Wak Haji remembers the words mbok Ratem caught in his old ear. Words that invite a million questions in his mind, that Asih is the bearer of balak for the village.

...----------------...

Asih and the old man walked into the forest in the middle of a dark night. The sounds of thunder and lightning began to sound. Flashes of light were repeatedly seen illuminating the black sky.

"Hurry old man, it's gonna rain soon I don't want our trip to get any harder!"

The old man did not speak, he just continued to follow Asih towards one place. This time it's a different place, to dispose of the corpse of the kades sir.

One lightning bolt struck the Pine tree that was in front of them making the two shocked. The fallen pine tree blocked the path they were about to walk. A charred smell burned and sparks were seen from the fallen tree.

"Damn it! We're taking a detour, old man!"

Inevitably Asih had to pass another road, taking a slightly longer and longer distance. The rain started to fall slowly as if it wanted to block Asih.

Asih has known the forest well since a few months ago. The forest where he hid all his crimes, before finally found the residents.

It started five months ago, when he committed his first murder. Tirta, Asih's first victim. Tirta was still counted as Asih's uncle, he was the first to have taken Asih's sanctity with all his deceit.

Asih who was orphaned since childhood was treated by mbok Jum and also Tirta alternately. There is nothing strange during Asih nurtured both, until when Asih grew up Tirta began to be tempted.

Asih's beautiful face, and her molecular body makes Tirta who is eager to play seduced women. Tirta began to approach Asih with seduks. Asih who is innocent and does not understand anything must finally be willing to sputtering his own uncle while he sleeps.

Asih's misfortune has not ended there because a few days later he suffered a rape committed by five barbaric students in the corn garden. In shock, his soul was shaken.

Mbok Jum with a heart of grief embracing Asih in the caress of a mother, the condition of Asih attract the attention of Bu Lasmi. He who had just lost his daughter also raised Asih as his daughter.

Asih went through his bleak days with great suffering. Vengeance, anger, and hatred can no longer be contained. Until one day Asih deliberately invited his uncle, Tirta to meet him.

Asih fishing with a mystical charm that he got from the spell that Bu Lasmi taught him. Tirta who misses Asih's body is also hooked. But unfortunately, Tirta came to pick up his own death.

That night was the same as tonight, the rain and lightning were earthy. Asih met with Tirta at a place on the village border. That was when Asih took his revenge.

Asih was helped by the babies who killed Tirta with cruelty. The sirep spell that he cast made all the villagers no one heard or saw his actions except, Eman.

Tirta died horribly, after the babies destroyed all organs in his body. Not enough to get there, Asih also split the stomach Tirta let his intestines decompose and dragged his corpse into a herd of wild dogs.

Asih, the innocent and shy village girl turns into a vile killer. He does not want to be blamed, he justifies his actions, those who start problems with him. They were also the ones who made a grudge well preserved in his heart.

Lightning returned, Asih and the old man finally arrived at the intended place. A ramps that will be used as a place where the kades sir buried.

"The dig is old man, this time the body should not be found by anyone!"

The old man obeyed Asih's orders, he took the small hoe that Asih had brought and immediately dug up the ground. The rain fell increasingly heavy, the body of the kades sir was toppled just like that into a hole that is not too deep and then closed it carelessly.

The two rushed down back to Miss Lasmi's house. Asih created his own hell. From behind the darkness the jinn woman laughed at Asih's deeds. A creepy laugh could be heard filling the silence of the night.

"So soon, soon enough! You'll join me!"
