Chapter 09's

Naruto saw the date, still several times to campus before the winter break and the year-end holidays. She wants to be relieved of her college assignment and focus on being Sei's parents after months of often leaving her little one with only her mother or a waitress at home.

"Naruto." A voice coming from beside him sounded.

"Hm." Naruto without turning his head because his eyes are fixed on the laptop screen. After this he had to go somewhere else, he wanted to check the task he was working on first before later forgetting after the next material.

Sasuke who saw how serious the blonde just kept looking from the side, had no intention of interrupting.

Five minutes later, Naruto realized that someone was staring at him.

"It's over?" ask the young man beside her.

Naruto glared in shock. "When have you been here, Sasuke?"

"It's only been a minute." Answer the Uchiha. "What are you doing with such a serious expression?" Sasuke asked while propping up his chin with the back of his hand.

The blonde rubbed his neck hearing an embarrassed expression. "Just a task."

"There's a schedule on the main campus, right? You wanna go there with me?"

"I'm on the bus."

"Isn't the bus really crowded? With me faster. You can save time doing your job."

Sasuke's offer was so tempting that Naruto was hard to resist. Finally he just nodded.

Got a positive answer flat face Uchiha Bungsu is no longer in position. The tip of his lips pulled up—shows a knotty smile.

On the way to the main campus Naruto did not open any conversation with Sasuke. He did not know what to talk to the Uchiha for now. Since they were taking the toll road, it only took them 18 minutes to arrive. The time that should not be long is like extending its duration for the young master Namikaze-Uzumaki.

After Sasuke parked the car he told the blonde to wait inside while he got out. Naruto agreed without a second thought. Maybe Sasuke wants to buy something first and wants him to wait so they can get to the destination building together later.

When Naruto wants to take out laptop— because he thinks rather than being silent it might be better to take advantage of the waiting time—the door next to him is opened from the outside. He blinked in confusion as he found Sasuke opening the passenger door beside him.

Naruto blushed when he found out Sasuke told him to wait because he wanted to open the car door for him. Though she was not a woman but her heart felt that she had just been exposed to shock therapy, making Naruto's internal organs beat faster than usual.

Naruto got out of the car and looked at Sasuke then cleared his throat—red the nervousness. "Thank you but-"

"You're not a woman." Sasuke continued Naruto's sentence he cut. "I know but I still want to give you special treatment. Otherwise you wouldn't know the difference between me treating someone I like with an ordinary friend." It was clearly holding the blonde's hand.

"Sasuke's..." Naruto tried to pull his fingers tightly grasped.

"There's no need to feel uncomfortable around me. Don't I know what you're most afraid of knowing?"

Naruto observed the young man's expression unchanged. "Your feelings may be just for a moment." Surely said.

In Sasuke's heart laughed. 'It is impossible that this almost 3 year old feeling went extinct just out of doubt again.'

"Naruto, you have too many reasons to distance yourself from me. Try to let me get closer. How can you judge me differently than others if I can't get any closer than your safe distance. At least I know what you're afraid of. I'll try to take care of whatever you want to take care of." He raised Naruto's hand to his lips and kissed the back of that hand.

The blond head turned to and fro, seeing if there was anyone around them.

Sasuke caught Naruto's chin and made the blonde look up to him. "Don't care about other people's views. If their opinions affect you, you don't live for yourself but for them. They have the right to comment but you also have the right not to listen. The opinion which other people have of you is their problem not yours. Understood?"

Naruto stared at Sasuke inside. His eyes flickered rapidly. Did he just lecture this minimal human expression?

"I will try not to care about their words."

"alright. Now we're going to join forces until building B. Let's see if you can't be affected by their whispers."

"WHAT?"

"Haha."

"You-your long word earlier must have been just a mode, YOU UCHIHA!"

Naruto was upset but when he saw Sasuke's laughing face for the second time, he didn't hate it. Uchiha flowers do have an attractive face so if he is interested is not it natural?
