The Secret of My Life

The Secret of My Life
Chapter 17's

Itachi arrived at his parents' house right after Hyuuga's family members arrived at Uchiha's residence. He greeted his in-laws and sister-in-law and then said goodbye to clean up.

Hinata saw her husband had entered the house. He wanted to come with Itachi to prepare the man's change of clothes before his duties were replaced by servants.

"Hinata!" Call Mikoto, he handed Ryuuto to Hinata's sling. "You go with your father and sister. I want to talk to Itachi." He told the son-in-law.

The Hyuuga woman nodded. He sighed resignedly. At least she knew what her in-laws wanted to talk to her husband about.

Mikoto waved at Ryuuto before entering the house.

Mikoto knocked on her eldest son's room. "Chi?"

Itachi who was unbuttoning his shirt turned towards the door. "I'll be down in a minute, ma'am, take a shower first."

"No, I'm not here to tell you to come down. I want to talk, can I come in?"

Eldest Uchiha frowned confusedly. He walked to the door and opened it. He saw not only Mikoto who was at the door but the father as well. "Why did you leave your besan alone?" the question is like joking.

Fugaku. "We need to talk." He gave a serious expression to his eldest son.

"Hinata, Hanabi and Ryuuto can accompany Hiashi." Mikoto.

Itachi walked out of the room and closed the door. "If you want to talk about something important, it's better in Dad's office."

"All right."

The three of them walked up to the third-floor stairs towards Fugaku's study.

After seeing the Uchiha leave and not return, Hanabi pinched his seat near Hinata. "Is Sasuke going to barbecue tonight?" Ask enthusiastically.

Eldest Hyuuga turned his eyeballs hearing Hanabi's question. "You know for yourself how Sasuke-kun is. If invited to an event like this the answer must be only two letters 'hn' that can mean yes or no." The answer.

Hanabi pursed her lips. "Can Mama Mikoto not force her to come?"

Hinata's eyebrows blend together. "When did you call Mom?"

"Since Aunt Mikoto told me to. He seems to like me better than you, hehehe." Hanabi cengengesan while staring mocking at the brother.

Hinata hit her sister's head slowly. "Don't act! This is not your house so watch your mouth!" His sweat.

"Bas with this boy!" Hinata stared anxiously wanting to throw this girl beside her into the koi fish pond.

Hiashi doesn't care about her children, she just focuses on Ryuu who has started yawning in his carrier.

The three Uchiha are trying to take turns calling the youngest Uchiha— or Uchiha to the four— who never once raised their call. Now Sasuke's number is off, which means the young man turned off his phone.

"This boy is actually where you dare to turn off your phone when your family clearly wants to contact him!" Fugaku almost threw his smartphone against the wall if not given how valuable the data inside it was.

Mikoto looked at Itachi as if her eldest son was an information center that always knew where Sasuke was.

"Mom don't look at me like that, I don't know where Sasuke is." The oldest word of Uchiha is of course a lie.

Hearing Itachi confess that he did not know, the woman grew anxious. What if Sasuke was with that Namikaze boy?

"Itachi, did Naruto return to Japan?" Mikoto asked as she looked at Itachi somewhat doubtfully. For a long time he did not mention that name in front of his eldest son.

"Why did Mom ask me? Isn't it my job to stay away from her?" Itachi gave a sharp look with smiling lips giving an impression of horror to both his parents.

Mikoto shut her mouth.

"What is Naruto's return to Japan to do with us not being able to contact Sasuke now?" This time Itachi's eyes narrowed suspiciously. Maybe they know? Not likely. I just saw him today.

Eldest Uchiha didn't want to risk telling his parents the blonde's whereabouts because he still wanted to see Naruto.

Fugaku sighed. "Forgot your mother's question. The most important thing is Sasuke. Have the waiter pack up Sasuke's things in your house. He's moving into a new apartment."

"Dad can't keep an eye on Sasuke so want to let him go?" Itachi asked with a face of disbelief. It's impossible for Sasuke to be released by his father.

"No. Sasuke won't bring his girlfriend—or his ladies— to your house. Maybe he feels not free when at the home of his parents or brother. So let him stay alone and start playing as he pleases." Fugaku explained his intention of letting the youngest Uchiha live in his own apartment. He had a premonition that there would be trouble letting Sasuke stay at Itachi and Hinata's place.

Itachi felt that his father's plan would not change Sasuke. His sister would not play with women as expected.

"Till Dad then." The reply then stood up from the black sofa in the study. "I'll go back to the bathroom and take a shower. Hyuuga's family must be tired of waiting downstairs." He said as he walked away.

After Itachi had vanished behind the door, Mikoto opened her voice. "Hanabi said he would move to Sasuke's campus, what if they lived in the same apartment building?" His proposal.

"Sasuke probably won't want to stay one place with Hanabi "

"Not one room is okay, just next to the apartment."

Fugaku thought for a moment before agreeing. "There's no harm in trying. Besides, if this fails, I still have another backup."
