"Hi boy, are you awake?" adisti asked so gently.

Jeffrey's eyes were unable to blink at all.

"Mommy," said Jefrey with teary eyes.

Adisti was immediately flabbergasted. Why did this kid suddenly call him 'mommy'?

"Aunty's not your Mommy, honey. You must miss Mommy, huh?"

With teary eyes, Jefrey nodded.

Adisti is happy to finally wake up. Jeffrey did not have any physical injuries on his body. But according to the doctor's examination, Jefrey has a physical condition that is not good. Doctors were able to identify that Jefrey had an abnormality in her body. Whether what the disease is, doctors have not been able to give conclusions before doing a thorough examination.

But since Adisti is not the legal guardian of Jefrey so the doctor can not do a thorough examination. Maybe after Jefrey's parents or legal guardians come and give their consent, then they can do a thorough examination.

"In that case, can you tell me, who's your mommy? Oh yeah, introduce, name aunty Adisti. What's your name?"

"Jefrey," replied Jefrey briefly.

"Oh, Jefrey. May aunty know, where's mommy?"

Jefrey shook her head, "mommy went with Lynda's aunty."

"Jefrey knows mommy's phone number? Let aunty get a call to pick up Jeffrey?"

"No, Jef does not want to be the same mommy," he said with a sad gaze to make Adisti's forehead wrinkled.

"Why? Mommy Jefrey's looking for Jefrey. Mommy must be worried about finding out that Jefrey disappeared like this."

Jefrey shook her head, "mommy can't find Jefrey."

Adisti's forehead is increasingly wrinkled to hear the saying, "why could that be?"

"Mommy doesn't love Jefrey."

Adisti's eyes were wide. How could there be such a mother, he thought.

But what Jeffrey said was true. He even had to spread rumors that he liked Jevian. All at the request of my father. Tobey threatens Eve to marry Jevian. According to Tobey, Jevian was a good man. He hopes Jevian can change Eve for the better and improve her bad attitude.

"Jefrey knows, mom. Jefrey knows daddy's phone number" he said enthusiastically. But what makes Adisti flabbergasted is because Jefrey again called it 'mom'.

But just now Adisti was about to pull out his phone and record Jefrey's father's number and call him, suddenly a call came in. Seeing the name of her husband's personal assistant who contacted her, Adisti also asked Jefrey to wait a while.

"Mrs, where are you? Shouldn't you have arrived here?"

"I'm sorry, Luke almost hit a kid. The boy was fine, but he fainted so we took him to the hospital. What was? Did Mark go back to vomiting?"

"Mrs right. I've asked you to stop and go home first, but you won't. He wants to finish his work first so he can get back to our country."

Adisti clucked, "alright. Can you send someone to pick me up? I can't just leave this kid. Maybe after Luke returns after searching for the identity of this boy, I can ask him to look after the boy until his parents come."

"alright. What hospital are you in? Soon my men will come there to pick you up."

Adisti also mentioned the name of the hospital. Fortunately, he saw the name of the hospital before going inside.

When it was over, Adisti closed the call. Luke returns with Arquez asleep in his cradle.

"Miss, sorry, I didn't manage to get any information about the boy's identity because the preschool where the boy's school was closed and no one was there."

Adisti let out a long sigh, "yes already. I asked him that he knew his father's phone number. Could you have just called her? I need to get to Mark's office. Someone will pick you up soon. Can you call the boy's parents and wait for him until his daddy gets back?"

Luke nodded, "alright. I'm gonna do it. Madam wants to go straight down? Let me take it," bargained Luke who could not bear to let Adisti hold Arquez who was in deep sleep. His master's wife was pregnant young.

"Attent. I want to say goodbye to the boy first." Luke nodded, then followed Eve back to Jefrey's nursery.

"Jef, sorry, aunty has to leave immediately. Aunty's husband is sick so aunty wants to see him right away. For the problem of contacting daddy Jefrey later, it will be done by Uncle Luke. But before that, Uncle Luke wants to drive aunty down, are you okay with aunty staying alone for a while?"

Jefrey glanced at Luke who was standing behind Adisti while holding a boy his age. With a sad face, Jefrey nodded.

"Good boy's. Take good care of yourself, dear. Hopefully we can meet again next time" Adisti said with a smile.

Jeffrey smiled back. Although not as wide as when talking to Adisti. Adisti then kissed Jefrey's forehead making a smile that had been sad to be wide. Even his eyes glistened. Jefrey was happy to get a kiss from Adisti. It feels warm and pleasant.

After saying that, Adisti immediately went out leaving Jeffrey who slowly dampened his smile.

"Jef pingin mommy. But mommy's like aunty, "sad. Anyone who heard, could definitely feel the sadness of the child. Having a mother, but never feeling her affection, is more painful than not having a mother at all. More painful than an orphan.

Shortly after Adisti leaves, Luke returns to Jeffrey's room. He immediately asked for Jefrey's father's phone number and contacted him.

"Hello" said someone across the phone.

"Hello, is this true with daddy from Jefrey?" ask Luke.

"Jefrey? You're with my son? You're who? Why are you with my son? Don't do anything to him, I beg you. I'll give you whatever you want, but I beg you not to hurt Jefrey" Jevian cried worriedly. He fears that Luke is a kidnapper and wants a ransom with him.

Hearing those words suddenly made Luke chuckle.

"Sorry sir, you misunderstood. I'm not going to mind your son. Instead I'm calling you to let you know that your son is in the hospital."

"What's? The infirmary? What happened to Jefrey? What hospital is he in now?"

Luke briefly describes how Jefrey was hospitalized. He also told me where Jefrey was being treated. After that, Jevian immediately went to the hospital.

"Jefrey," call Jevian with a rumbling feeling. He was really worried about his son.

"Daddy," said Jefrey, who had reached out. Jevian immediately hugged and kissed Jefrey on the top of the head affectionately.

"Jefrey, why did you get to the middle of the road? Isn't Jef with mommy?"

Jefrey nodded with a sad face and told him briefly how he got to the middle of the road. Obviously, that sparked Jevian's wrath. Jevian felt his patience was on the verge of the limit. He could no longer tolerate Eve's actions this time. Whatever Tobey will do to his company later, for sure, he prefers to be separated than his son's mentality is further shattered by his mother's more cruel attitude than a stepmother.
