Haru watched Mia from earlier. Ever since she came home from work, the woman looked pensive. He wondered what his wife was thinking.

“Mia, why you?”

Haru approached the woman who was sitting on the side of the bed. He did the same thing by dropping his ass near Mia.

Mia turned her head and looked at her husband with complete doubt, she was indeed in the middle of having to express her wishes to Haru or not.

And in the end Mia chose to reveal all the fret that was bothering her mind to Haru. He did not want to keep everything to himself, while the anxiety he felt was related to the man.

“I feel guilty for your mother, Haru.” Mia said without taking her eyes off the man.

“We lied to your mother and gave her false hope. I'm not up to the heart if I constantly cheat him.” he said again.

Haru nodded in understanding, he of course understood about that. But if what they're doing is deceptive, Haru thinks it's not true.

“We didn't deceive him, Mia.”

“You didn't forget that we were legally married? Our marriage has been registered.” Haru tries to remind Mia that their marriage really happened.

“Only we are pretending to be a couple who love each other. That's just our lie to Mother.” he explained.

They are technically real husbands, they just don't love each other, and all that romance is fake.

Mia was stunned to hear an explanation from Haru. The man made Mia who had felt very guilty, began to reduce these feelings.

“Not everyone gets married for love.There are many couples who go through marriage without any love in it.” Haru said.

“We are not the only ones who marry without love, Mia.”

Haru looked at the woman with shady eyes. He tried to channel comfort to Mia through the look in her eyes. Haru did not want the woman to continue to be trapped in her guilt.

“But our marriage is not permanent. there will be a time we end this marriage.” Mia replies to Haru's statement which Haru later agrees to.

“It's okay, Mia. Those who marry because they love each other can still get divorced.

So, don't think too much about.” Haru ended his conversation with Mia.

The man then told Mia to lie down and she also covered the woman's body with a blanket.

Haru smiled faintly while looking at his wife's beautiful face. Although there was no love for the woman, but Haru was quite comfortable with Mia by her side.

“You should sleep. Because tomorrow we will go for a walk.” said Haru.

“You yourself how?” Mia asked because she was surprised by Haru not lying down with her.

“I will sleep after finishing my work.” Haru said then left Mia in their room.

This longing feeling was so agonizing, making his chest tight that he involuntarily sobbed because of his bitter cries.

Almost every night Mia misses Hartono and sometimes it makes it difficult for her to sleep.

Haru had just left her to do the man's work. And right after Haru's departure, Mia was pensive because she suddenly missed Hartono.

While wiping her flat stomach, Mia saw pictures of herself with Hartono on her phone and immediately shed her tears that had gathered at the end of the eye patch.

Mia feels stupid for still loving the man. For all that Hartono has done to her, her feelings of love for the man have not changed.

Especially after she became pregnant, the feelings of love were getting bigger for Hartono.

“While you have incised a wound on me, my feelings for you remain unchanged.”

“I still love you so much, Schatz.”

Haru is completely devastated to see the condition of his mother who is currently lying weakly in the ICU room. And Mia as a wife was trying to calm the man down.

Actually, not only Haru who felt devastated by the condition of Nana, Mia was also hit by seeing her in-laws like that.

Moreover, the woman was very kind to him, and Mia already considered her in-laws like her own mother.

“Sorry yes, we have to postpone our event.” Haru feels regret for having to cancel his promise with Mia.

Mia shook her head slowly, “It's okay, Haru. Now all we have to think about is the current condition of the mother.” Mia replied making the man stunned.

Perhaps if she was not married to Mia, she would be alone in enduring all this grief.

Haru nodded briefly, he then remembered that his wife had not had breakfast at all.

“You wait a minute here, okay?”

Mia held Haru's hand that had already moved from her seat, “Where are you?” ask Mia curious.

“I want to go buy breakfast.”

“You and the child in your womb haven't had breakfast, have you?” asked Haru while staring fixedly at Mia.

The woman felt touched by Haru's attention, even though she herself forgot that she had not eaten any food.

Mia then let go of her grip on Haru's hand and let the man go to buy breakfast. Mia looked at Haru's back which was moving away from her sight.

A few minutes later, Haru returns with food and drinks for Mia.

“This what?” mia asked the food Haru gave her.

“Nasi kare, you must like.” replied Haru without fading her thin smile.

Haru then takes over Mia's food box, takes a spoon and feeds the rice into Mia's mouth.

Mia received all of Haru's sweet treatment at the moment. He won't dispute it.

“How, good right?” tanya Haru who was then nodded by Mia.

“Enak, I like. Thank you, Haru.”

Haru smiled faintly at Mia who looked greedy to receive every mouthful of rice from her. Unknowingly his feelings began to warm up little by little due to seeing the woman's behavior.

Her mother-in-law has regained consciousness, but of course the woman has not been able to be taken home so that tonight Haru is staying at the hospital, while Mia herself is ordered by Haru to return home.

The man was not at ease to let Mia stay at the hospital to accompany him and the mother. His wife was especially young pregnant.

Mia actually wants to accompany Haru, but since the man forbids her, Mia cannot push herself.

“My body feels sore.” Mia murmured as she almost reached her mother-in-law's house.

After this, he will shower and rest. Mia smiled faintly imagining her tired body hitting the soft mattress belonging to Haru.

He then accelerates his footsteps to arrive immediately, but when Haru's fence begins to be caught by the retina of his eyes, Mia immediately stops her footsteps.

His two eyes caught the silhouette of a man standing in front of Haru's fence. From that person's stature Mia clearly knew who he was.

Mia felt her chest rumble again for some reason. Either because of pleasure mixed with longing, or even because of fear.

So before the person realized his existence, Mia also tried to reverse direction, but damn course her movement lost quickly with that person who first realized the existence of Mia.
