There is always a feeling of fear in Mia after she got Hartono.

Fear of being betrayed, or fear of being abandoned.

Hartono once turned away from his wife and had an illicit relationship with her. And now Mia is afraid that the man will do the same thing as before, considering that people who have had affairs have the possibility to cheat again.

“I'm just trying to keep what has been mine.” Mia felt that her actions were not a mistake.

He could not let his guard down, just yesterday Hartono lied to him because of Sharon and made himself wait a long time in the parking lot. He would not give the man a chance to do the same.

“Honey?!”

Mia wiped away her tears immediately upon hearing Hartono's voice searching for her whereabouts. He was crying because he remembered the incident yesterday where Hartono lied to him and made himself wait a long time in the parking lot. Apparently the man was accompanying Sharon who was hospitalized.

It turns out being lied to it feels really painful.

Mia then laid her body on the bed and pretended to be asleep.

Hartono who had just entered the room then saw how Mia who was currently lying down. He then swung his steps to approach the woman.

“But I'm fine now. Maybe just lack of rest.” he reasoned.

Hartono looked at the woman with a soothing look in his eyes, Mia had always liked it when the two black obsidian men were looking at her like that.

“Do not do too much work that can make you tired quickly,” Hartono gave input.

Mia only smiled slightly hearing him, and then nodded affirming Hartono's words.

“You want something?” ask Hartono again.

The man's huge palm always gently caressed his head. Mia could feel the man's genuine affection through the touch. And suddenly she was crying.

Hartono was surprised to see the tears coming out of Mia's beautiful eyes. The man then lifted the woman's body to make Mia sit down.

“Why?”

“Did anyone hurt you?” ask Hartono full of anxiety.

Mia was silent as she tearfully broke down, “I'm afraid.” her answer sounded like a whisper, but Hartono was still able to catch the woman's voice clearly.

“I'm afraid of losing you. I'm afraid you left me, and I'm afraid you stopped loving me.” she said in one breath.

Hartono froze because of it, he did not understand why Mia suddenly just said about something that he thought was impossible. After all that had passed, it was impossible for her to leave that woman even more so stop loving her.

“I've given you everything without leaving anything. And I'll go crazy if you leave me.”

Hartono felt a tightness in his chest coming back to him. Mia's words just sounded similar to the one Sharon had once said.

He did not leave Sharon, but he gave up on retaining the woman because he preferred to pursue his second love.

Hartono shook his head slowly, he would not do that to Mia. Had enough of himself hurt Sharon, he would not have repeated the same crime on Mia.

The woman is everything, her love, the rest of her life. The two had separated, and it was more painful than her pain when she divorced Sharon.

“Never speak of such a thing again. You know I'll never do it.” Hartono replied to Mia's words with a sad look in his eyes.

Hartono held both sides of Mia's face and brought the woman's eyes to gaze right at her two black obsidians.

“Why suddenly think of all that?” ask Hartono curiously.

Hartono thinks he should be more sensitive to Mia's current state. The woman was pregnant young where her emotions became unstable. He must be clever to keep Mia's feelings from now on.

Because he does not want Mia or the child he is carrying until why-why.

Hartono sighed softly, he glanced at the slickly circular watch on his wrist. Time had already shown at one o'clock in the afternoon, and he had just finished meeting a client at the restaurant.

“Did I go home first and bring food for Mia?” Hartono asked himself.

He thought hard about what food he would bring to Mia. And in the middle of that moment, suddenly his eyes caught the whereabouts of Sharon who had just entered the restaurant with Laura.

Without thinking, Hartono moved from his seat to approach Sharon and Laura.

“Sharon,” Hartono greeted the woman suddenly by standing in front of Sharon and Laura.

Sharon was surprised to see Hartono, as well as Laura.

“How are you doing? You're cured?” Hartono asked with good intentions.

“You see me standing here in good shape, why are you still asking like that?” sharon's response sounded sniffy.

Even though Sharon's response was so ketus like that, Hartono did not feel offended at all.

“Thank God, I'm glad to hear it.” said the man made Sharon stunned.

Hartono then looked at his son-in-law who had been silent since, he smiled faintly at Laura.

“Laura, Dad tipped your mom yes. Please pay attention to him.” he said again to make Sharon astonished.

Laura nodded with a stiff movement, she was also seen forcing her lips to smile thinly.

“Iya, Dad. I definitely take good care of mom.” Laura said.

Hearing that Hartono smiled with relief, he then said goodbye to his ex-wife and also his daughter-in-law. Hartono's departure could only make Sharon speechless while staring at the man's back.

“Hartono, why do you still show your concern after you hurt me so badly?”

Sharon did not expect to see Doctor Mahendra again after she was discharged from the hospital.

Just after Hartono's departure from the restaurant, Mahendra accidentally walked into the restaurant and met Sharon and Laura.

The handsome doctor invites Sharon and Laura to eat together, and since it is not up to the heart to refuse, the two women accept Mahendra's invitation.

Now the three are at the same table and enjoying a meal together.

“You've been really healthy, I'm happy to see it.” Mahendra said after he finished eating his meal.

The man looked at Sharon who looked brighter than when she was inside the hospital. That woman is really beautiful and graceful.

Sharon reviewed her thin smile, and all of it did not escape the scrutiny of Mahendra's eyes.

“Because I rested enough, so of course can recover quickly.” Sharon replied in a less passionate tone. Honestly, the woman was still upset because of the presence of Hartono earlier.

Laura watched the two in silence, and she felt strange about Mahendra who had been staring at her mother-in-law.

The problem is Mahendra's view of his mother-in-law looks excessive.

“Doctor, why stare at my mother like that?”
