The dark... Silent... Chilling..

That's how I feel right now. I shivered my sayup I heard Do Jian's voice calling.

"DAUGHTER! PRINCESS SHUWANG!" His screams echoed. I tried to move my body but it felt very heavy.

I looked surprised. Both of my hands were tied in a strong chain. I thrashed but in vain. My breath is stingy. I remember the last incident with Do Jian.

Do Jian hugged me tightly. My body is still covered in blood. And, when my eyes closed I felt a water wash over my skin.

I exhaled a smile but I was still curious as to what was going on with me? Then where am I?. I spread the view.

"What's going on?" My muttering. "Welcome Li Shuwang." My forehead fluttered circulating a glance.

"Who are you?" The voice laughed out loud as her footsteps drew closer. "I? I am you Li Shuwang."

A dim light appeared to illuminate his face. My body stiffened my blood boiling. The figure smirked he brandished his claws.

"You.you.." My lips twitched at her figure. "What's Li Shuwang why are you so surprised? This is not your real self."

He stretched his arms looking at me coldly. "Tch, I'm not like this. You're just my copy." He chuckles.

"Make-up? Did I not hear wrong? I'm the one you've been damning all along." I was amazed to look at him. Black mane with golden yellow irises like a full moon.

Her long hair was unraveling to the floor. I swallowed spit. "I should have, I didn't die. Because, the weakness of your heart we must die. I still want him." I was surprised to hear it.

"Who? Who's she?" He came closer to my chin. "Did you forget? He is Do Jian. Your husband-to-be don't forget because of you. He must be ours. Nope.. But, I."

He giggles to keep me glued. "And, again, are you not curious about the deaths of father and mother?" I'm looking.

"What do you mean?" I asked him, wondering if he raised the next eyebrow. "You don't know? Even on the edge of death? Pathetic."

I struggled to attack him. But, my efforts were just a waste. This chain is so strong it's making me droop again.

"Li Shuwang, that chain is made of Jiangshi blood. You mixed blood won't be able to untie the chain." She smiles. I bowed my head if only I was born with Jiangshi blood intact.

I wouldn't have experienced something like this. I will be strong like Brother Wuqing. "Tell me what was the cause of my parents' death?"

"Well, where do I start?" He was silent for a moment. "What if I start over?" His words are flicking fingers.

"When the human world was plundered by the Jiangshi nation. The human population went extinct until the birth of a pure blood owner." He exhaled.

"He became a light through the darkness. The knowing King of Jiangshi met the possessor of pure blood. But, who would have thought that she was such a beautiful girl." She smiles.

"King Jiangshi fell in love at first sight. He made a pact to marry the owner of pure blood. And will keep both worlds safe. This girl was thinking but considering the human world was in chaos. He agreed."

I looked down on this story just like I told you before I left. "Then, I want to know what caused the death of the father and the mysterious disappearance of his mother."

"And her missing mother actually she was long gone a day after hearing the news of her husband's death. Until, auntie took revenge on us." My tears are shining.

"So there's one secret you should know." His words rolled his eyes. "Consecrated? What secret?" I was curious again.

He laughed out loud. "You don't know? I will tell you the truth."

"If Jiangshi's strength and pure blood meet he will become the leader of the two worlds. Our destiny has been outlined even since in the womb."

"And we are born for darkness." He stretched his smiling arms. "Omong empty. I was born to someone I love. I don't want to be a leader. I just want.."

"ENOUGH!" Shake her hard I'm silent. "You cannot escape destiny. Our destiny is determined. And, you just need to run it." I turned my face.

I honestly hate being like this. If only I had been born from the womb of an ordinary man. My life won't be this complicated.

"If only.. If only I had been born a human being I wouldn't be like this." I muttered tears falling.

"You can't choose. Be queen to both worlds." He grins. "I. I can't." I said shrewdly.

He pulled his foot and approached. THE PLAQUE! A hard slap landed on my cheek. I grimaced in pain.

"I told you our destiny is only for darkness. Darkness is a part of us. You must be aware of Li Shuwang. Don't be a saint!"

"Would I be able to protect the people I love?" He smiled a finger-picking smile. "of course. Whatever it is you want to be the whole Jiangshi."

I shook my head strongly. "No! Rather than me being like that I'd rather die." I said he pulled my hair. I grimaced in pain.

"BEFORE ME!" Snap me. He threw my head against the wall. Blood is pouring from my forehead.

"Damn it!" Umpat I'm upset. He laughed out loud. "Now Li Shuwang's choice is yours. Would you like to stay here or.. come back to life as Jiangshi?"

I bow if it is my destiny to be queen of two worlds. And, it could make the Jiangshis not plunder humans.

Humans will remain safe and Jiangshi will remain in place. My decision has been made for the sake of the people I love. I'm gonna do it.

I looked up at her iris steadily. "Alright, I agree but there's one condition." His forehead is fluttering. "Geez, Li Shuwang has been given a chance to ask for the right conditions."

I exhaled. "As far as you are. I don't care anymore." I turned my face. "Well, I'll give you what it is."

"I'll be the perfect Jiangshi when I reach 25 and I want to stay half Jiangshi and make me meet her." He snapped a smiling finger.

"All right, your terms I'll grant you." The chain link that bound me was broken. "But you have to wait 2 years. However, your memories will be erased as collateral."

Slowly my body turned into a white light that shot away in a slum. And, I never knew if we'd meet.

"Do Jian, I'll be waiting for you."
