The Shadow Of Princess

The Shadow Of Princess
Episode 9

Morning before the troops prepare to resume their journey. The hot sun did not dampen our spirits. We continued our journey in silence there was no sound other than the swift footsteps of the horse I let out a long sigh.

The wind blows strong dust fell making us close the caping. I felt the sun getting hotter for two days we were on an endless journey.

"Master, look there is something there,” shouted Zhang Chagyi in front of me turning towards Zhang Chagyi. I got off the horse as did Brother Wuqing.

"You guys wait a minute I'll check for a minute,” I said all nodding obediently.

"Good sir."

Wuqing and I walked closer in front of the settlement of residents who like him have long lived many damaged buildings.

We went around every place but found nothing. We decided to go back but a light blocked our movement out of the village. My eyes felt glare and pain I closed my eyes while changing.

BOOM! The sound of explosions rang out I opened my eyes of dust falling around. Brother Wuqing pulled out a sword I also pulled out a sword. Brother Wuqing's breathing roared quickly.

"Master!" screams sounded from across. I caught up with the troops but something pulled me backwards.

"Welcome Mr. Li Huang,” greet Yuan clapping his hands out of the puff of dust. Yuan grinned at us. "Well, I didn't expect the issue being spread to make you call that many troops,” Yuan said pointing across my army's premises. I clenched my jaws holding back the already mounting anger.

"What do you mean spread rumors that aren't true, huh?" protest brother Wuqing growled Yuan chuckled.

"Certainly destroying you two is like a pat on two dead flies" he said with a sly smile. I'm tired of her attitude. "And yet mixed blood like you doesn't deserve to live here. This is not your place,” Yuan said mocking me rounding eyes in disbelief at his words. How did he know I was mixed blood? Wait so how many people know that I'm not human, my mind is shocked.

"Yuan, how do you know if I'm mixed blood?" I asked curious Yuan showed his brain. As if he said he was smart enough.

"Li Huang, don't worry this is the secret of both of us. But, if you're anything like Do Jian. I will not hesitate to tell others about your big secret,” threatened Yuan in the end there will be negotiations here. "Li Huang you better give up. And release Do Jian,” I laughed out loud at his request.

"Don't expect him to be Wang Jian Li's prisoner of war. So, he belongs to us never expect him to come back to you until at any time,” Yuan clenched his jaw red-dropping face.

"Basic of unfeeling mixed blood. You don't deserve to live here better you go to hell,” I'm fixated his words really pierced my heart.

If only I could choose maybe I wouldn't want to be born like this. I want to live like everyone else.

A normal life with the people I love and care about. Yuan she is a lucky girl finding a partner who will soon be married is a blessing.

Brother Wuqing looked at me saying he was clenching his hands. "Your talk is outrageous. Are noble women in the human world not taught ethics? Even you are more despicable than Jiangshi," said Brother Wuqing, making Yuan's face crimson.

"Pretty sis don't waste time just responding to this woman's babble. His words were indeed true but I was just wondering if he was also worthy of being called a great person? Even against half-humans like me being overwhelmed,” Brother Wuqing glanced at me smiling.

"You're right, dik. I also want to see if he deserves to fight us, ” said brother Wuqing making Yuan even more angry.

"Just look at it. I'll make you both bend your knees,” Yuan's sergeant flicked a finger. Hordes of Jiangshi sprung up behind him. Brother Wuqing flabbergastedly glanced at me.

“How? Are you guys gonna give up?” tanya Yuan looked at us one by one.

“We must fight it no matter what,” said brother Wuqing brandishing a sword. The sound of roars sounded deafening. Kulirik the soldier across from us. They seem confused.

“Take it easy. I have installed a barrier,” Yuan chuckled. I clenched my jaw. This time the fight between us will erupt at any moment.

Yuan waved his hand towards Wuqing's brother. Jiangshi's hordes pushed forward. They started attacking Wuqing's brother alone. Do not stay silent I help. Brother Wuqing looked overwhelmed against those who numbered in the tens. Despite being slashed dozens of times they kept coming like a flood.

Thanks to the combined strength of the two of us, Jiangshi's forces slowly dwindled. My breath was stingy and sweat was pouring out. “Sial!” rutukla. Suddenly Jiangshi appeared behind Wuqing's sister. I immediately chased after him but suddenly my body bounced. “Sister Wuqing! Watch out!” my peek. His head was turned back. Then wings came out of his back. That Jiangshi bounced off hitting the others. Wuqing's shoulder goes up and down. The sword in his hand was glowing brightly.

I glanced at Yuan who was brandishing his finger. "Your opponent I'm Li Huang," Yuan appeared crashing against my body as I bounced. My body was buried in sand.

The fight of Mr. Wuqing and the Jiangshi horde is still unfinished. Not having time to worry about Brother Wuqing arrived a big hand caught my leg.

I'm getting hard to move he gripped strongly reluctant to let go of her. "ARGHH!" I grimaced in pain.

"How is Mr Li Huang with my attack? Have you now acknowledged that I am stronger than you?" I struggled trying to let go.

"Damn it! If it is like this I have to use that way” muttered I turned to look at Yuan who laughed triumphantly.

I cast a spell forming a strong wind. From a distance there was the sound of wind. I stuck my suzaku sword in tight grip.

"What do you want to do? Surrender or choose to die in my hands?” the grip became tighter, making both my legs hurt even more. I bit my lower lip withstanding the pain.

The strong wind in the sand made the dust fall. The visibility was disturbed Yuan closed his eyes and this became my chance.

As soon as his grasp was loose I darted flying and hid. In an instant the roar of wind disappeared the visibility was back to normal.

Yuan opened his eyes to his surprise, knowing that I was missing. "Damn it! Li Huang where are you? I know you're hiding. Don't hide like a coward. Show yourself."

I chuckled at her upset attitude. I jumped in front of her swinging the sword towards her.

Yuan who was unable to prepare was surprised by my presence. My sword hit his stomach.

Yuan held his stomach grimacing in pain as blood instantly soaked his palms and hanfunya.

"I'll avenge you, Li Huang,” her screech hard she raised both her hands making the sand rise upwards forming a needle that pointed in front of me.

"Huft, it looks like this will take a long time,” my murmur looks at Brother Wuqing who is exhausted facing Jiangshi.
