Ending the Drama

"You're always prejudiced by my worries, you always think I'm bad at everything!."

"Don't you really forgive me Eve?, which part are you saying you forgive me, if you just don't believe me!."

Evelyn stunned..

"I just need one word from you, then I'll do everything, stop this madness, because honestly it's torturing me."

"You think what I feel when I torture you, I feel the same pain."

"If you think this can punish me, congratulations you succeeded. I am tormented when I have to assume you *** ***.."

"I am ja lang..."

"No!" Devan stomped his fists on the floor, until his books turned blue from the loud bang "You're still precious to me, don't you understand." Evelyn blinked her eyes when she saw Devan's hand turn blue with reddish patches, Evelyn clenched her hand as it reached out and made sure Devan was okay.

"I'm not a good person either, Eve. You know I'm also not a nice guy who only touches one woman, then what's your fault?, you even fight for our son." Devan lowered his head "End this Eve, I beg you."

"Tell me if you don't like being treated like a ja lang, I'll stop him."

Evelyn was silent, and felt her heart throb even more, the pain that came was no longer due to the fact that she was a lang and indeed deserved such treatment, but the pain because Devan does not stop with the pseudo-love he says, Evelyn thinks in these six months Devan's love will turn into disgust or hate, but the man was still shouting that he loved her.

"You might just be obsessed with me, or the guilt that comes when you betray me, that you want to make up for it."

"I'm not so Eve.."

"Is that so? then what happens next? have you thought about what would happen if you kept me? all the consequences you'll bear, you've thought of that?"

"You know one thing, even though I've changed and quit my dark world, there's still a trace there."

"Eve.." Devan stared at Evelyn's nanar.

"And it can't be erased."

"I don't care.."

"Then what about your family?" Devan was silent for a moment and replied.

"I'll make them accept you."

Evelyn chuckled "Right, then what about your fiancee?" Devan breathed.

"I know, you'll find out even if I don't tell you in person.."

"Yes, and I found out from someone else.What do you think I felt when I found out the man chasing me was engaged?."

"Eve, he's not important. Our engagement is a business engagement and I don't want it.."

"Not really, I'm nothing more than your fiancee.." Evelyn sighed "Let's make Dev a deal."

Devan rubbed his face roughly "What else is this Eve.." Devan complains, Evelyn is endless making deals, Devan just wants Evelyn to take it back just that, but the woman continues to twitch and dodge.

"Prove if you really love me. Prove that if you can make your family, and the whole world agrees with our relationship, if you can do that then I will accept you.." Evelyn looked up at Devan's eyes "But if you can't do that until my time is up then you have to let me go, and we're done."

Devan knew this would be difficult, especially his family actually chose a woman who was profitable for the company to be his match, Devan indeed from the beginning refused his match with Diana, Diana, but he could not argue and was determined to break off his and Diana's engagement with proof that without the support of the Diana family he could still advance the company.

Evelyn nodded "For that long, I want to live my way. Let me be free to live my life without a bodyguard."

Devan shook his head "It can't."

"I'm not going to run.. Gosh.."

"I've told you this isn't just because of that, Eve.."

"Well, then let them follow when I'm going out, but don't keep them standing in front of the door, it makes me grieve. And what will the neighbors say."

Devan chuckled "I've bought this one floor, so you don't have to think about the neighbors." Evelyn widened her eyes "One unit in the bodyguard's use to stay, so they can change their guard faster." Evelyn gulped her saliva, outrageous. Devan threw away his money just for a ridiculous guard.

"You spent your money for nothing.."

"It's not free anyway my money is still a lot, it won't run out."

Evelyn wakes up with a grumbling mouth "Many, my God, she bought a floor apartment and says there's still a lot of money.."

Devan smiled and followed Evelyn "So the drama is over..?" Evelyn was still walking away towards the room, until Devan stopped her, Devan's hand clutching Evelyn's waist "I'm sorry.." Devan kisses Evelyn's shoulder. "I promise I'll make you mine soon, and I'll make sure we're together." Devan tightened his embrace.

Evelyn rested her hands on both of Devan's hands that wrapped around her waist.

'Slow down, Eve.' her inner voice whispered.

"I'll get the medicine box.." Devan looked down at his injured hand, he didn't even feel any pain despite the bloodshed there.

Evelyn sits herself next to Devan and begins to clean the man's wounds, Evelyn still does not talk and only focuses on treating Devan's wounds, until one hand Devan draped Evelyn's hair.

Evelyn looked up and saw Devan who was smiling gently at her.

With no words spoken from her lips, Evelyn and Devan simply stared into each other's eyes "What we're doing, actually.." Evelyn did not answer and went back to treating Devan's wounds.

"It's done.." Evelyn put the medicine back in the box and closed it.

Evelyn wakes up and is about to save the medicine box, but Devan grabs it, until the woman falls on her lap "Eve..."

Evelyn smiled "Dev, give me the right to live freely, wherever I want. I promise I'll always be there when you want me.."

"Of course, Eve.why do you always talk like I just want you for a moment.."Evelyn shook her head.

"It's not like that, you know the more you curb the more I want to rebel. I promise I'll be fine.." Evelyn nibbled her lips nervously, she had to put an end to Devan's growing possessiveness in order for him to go see Boni.

Evelyn sighed then tried to get up, but Devan still held her tight. "You're angry again!"

"What's Dev gonna do if you don't want to hear me." Evelyn turned her face away "Do whatever you want."

"Alright, I'll stop the guard.." Evelyn raised her eyebrows, waiting for Devan's next reaction, until the man pressed his phone and brought it closer to her ear.

"Pull all the bodyguards in the apartment, until I order you back, no one bothers Eve.."

"You're happy.." Devan closed his call and looked at Evelyn.

"Yes,." Evelyn smiled.

"So what's your real purpose Eve, intentionally doing this to get rid of the guard.."
