The Story is Not Over

Dinner was warm in the interlude of chatter and jokes from Devan and Willy, but Evelyn became the only one who did not enjoy the dinner, how not, and not, willy's eyes that looked at her a few times with a gentle gaze made her uncomfortable, not to mention Devan who continued to wrap her hands possessively, sometimes on Evelyn's shoulders and on her waist.

Evelyn also felt uncomfortable with all the attention Devan rubbed the corner of her lips even added food to her plate, what was with Devan?.

Evelyn knew Devan was always doing that if they ate together, but how could the man do it in front of others, Devan even looked to be pumping Willy and declared proudly 'See my woman is beautiful and charming, ' she doesn't know if the woman Willy is talking about is Evelyn herself.

Not that Evelyn was high-hearted, but several times Willy told their story for three days in fine language, and Evelyn remembered what their activities were.

Evelyn snorted inwardly, what the hell is this why she is in this kind of situation.

To hell with the two of them Evelyn just wanted to breathe a sigh of relief, separated from the two men who had made her uncomfortable.

Devan who did not take it off for a second as if he could be stolen by Willy, and Willy who continued to steal looks as if waiting for the right time to pounce on him.

Evelyn knew her past mistakes wouldn't go away, they would last a lifetime, and this was just Willy. Then what about the other men, who were even more ferocious than Willy and what if Evelyn met them one by one?.

Threats, or else Evelyn may not be able to avoid, especially if she becomes a wife of Devan, their daughter-in-law will see the benefits of her past.

This is also the reason Evelyn does not want a marriage in her life.

He did not want if one day the shadow of his past was present and ruined the happiness of his household, so it was better that there was no husband and wife drama at all.

Not to mention if she has a child, let's say her husband accepts all his past, then what about his son?, what about the surrounding environment..? Evelyn could not have imagined where a child would get a curse around her just because of her mother's bad past, given that Evelyn's heart felt pierced by many thorns.

Evelyn sighed, why did her mind go up and down like this "Sorry, I want to go to the toilet." Evelyn's cry made Devan and Willy turn their heads.

Willy clapped his hand and a servant who had been behind him swiftly approached "Take this Miss to the toilet." the servant nodded and let Evelyn follow him.

Willy's villa was very luxurious, but Evelyn did not want to enjoy even just admiring what was around her, in her mind just hoping that this would end soon and sleep well and forget everything.

But can it happen after his meeting tonight with Willy, and the worst point is that he's Devan's business partner, and the meeting between Devan and Willy is inevitable.

And why did Evelyn get scared, afraid that Devan would find out if Willy had hired her, and then hated her.

The waiter opened a door that again astonished, the lavish bathroom design welcomed and would amaze anyone who saw it, but again it did not apply to Evelyn.

Evelyn flatly entered the door and closed it tightly.

Evelyn leaned against the door with a sigh of relief, her gaze now looking far ahead with all her complex thoughts.

Walking towards the sink and washing her hands, Evelyn had no intention of even just urinating, she just needed to breathe from the tight atmosphere inside, so the toilet is the only reason that's strong, without making Devan suspicious.

Some time Evelyn stood up pensively, then sighed and came out.

Just opening the door Evelyn was startled by someone pushing her back in and locking the door.

"You.."

"You surprised me Eve.." Evelyn clucked isn't Willy surprising to her, for what the man pushed her. "I'm glad you're out of that world.."

"I'm grateful, whoever can get you out.." Willy again looked at Evelyn with a gentle look and made Evelyn even more uncomfortable.

Evelyn was still silent, even as Willy continued to step forward towards her until now Evelyn was cornered "What are you doing..?" Evelyn tried to shake off her fear and stared at Willy flatly, until what Willy did stunned her.

"I missed you.. Several times I came hoping to see you, but Irene said you're not working." Evelyn felt the warmth of Willy's embrace, yes the man hugged her, even very tightly.

Evelyn was silent, not replying and not even pushing Willy. "Did Devan know?"

Evelyn felt her heart pounding, then pushed Willy "What do you mean..?"

"Did Devan know if we ever spent time together?."

"How would he react if he found out?."
