Chapter 236: The Arrival of the Three Pure Gods

"How are you feeling?" Lin Chen combed Yan Xue's hair sideways into her ears, then helped her tie her up so as not to block the view.

Yan Xue smiled as Lin Chen helped her to tie her hair. "Xue'er is very happy. Last time fighting like this, when he was nineteen."

Lord Sanzu was lying within the hole, left silent without a word as he looked at the disgusting sight in the sky. He grumbled and cursed at Lin Chen who could make out in this state. He felt very humiliated, he was Lord Sanzu!—Penerus Pangu!—Ruler!

Lord Sanzu's aura exploded as his body floated slowly, shattering the surroundings until it opened up space and saw stars glittering within the space that seemed to be the Universe.

"Hhhhhhhh!" Lord Sanzu spread out his hands as he shouted; the blood within the river churned like boiling water, then blood in large volumes surged up around him like rings.

Lin Chen remained silent as he stared flatly at Lord Sanzu. He felt that the blood he had just taken had not been fully purified, and that it gave its own burden like the slowness of regeneration. He took a breath before raising his right hand with his middle finger propped on his index finger.

Lord Sanzu sneered and said contemptuously, "Three Pure Gods, Jade Emperor, Empress of Heaven. The powerful people of the Three Realms are fighting me together, this is ridiculous."

Without a word, Lin Chen swung his hand slowly like he was playing chess. Suddenly, there were lines appearing in the sky forming Weiqi of great size and Lord Sanzu was inside.

Lord Sanzu felt the tremors in his body with an unbearable pressure, even having great difficulty raising his hand. He turned his head and found that a chess piece had descended at a terrifying speed, the piece was black in color that was emitting a white light.

"No way! I can't believe this!"

Lord Sanzu spread out both of his hands while angry and carried more blood flow from the river.

The blood formed hundreds of soaring blood pillars to keep the chess pieces from falling on them.

The shockwave spread out when the blood pillar struck the chess piece, but the chess piece was not affected even once and even continued to descend even though its speed was significantly reduced.

Lord Sanzu disappeared and appeared in front of Yan Xue.

Yan Xue gasped at the sight of Lord Sanzu in front of her and stepped back. His body felt frozen looking at the hand that was about to grip his neck.

Lin Chen who was hundreds of meters behind Yan Xue, did not allow that to happen. The Devil Whip shot sharply past Yan Xue, lunging at Lord Sanzu and stabbing him right in the stomach.

Lord Sanzu was left silent. He lowered his head as he felt pain in his stomach. He did not know how his stomach had been pierced, and felt it was strange why he could not sense Lin Chen's aura at all. In the Sanzu River, Diyu Realm, he was the ruler, but for some reason before Lin Chen, he was like a chicken.

Yan Xue moved beside Lin Chen.

The two raised their right and left hands together. Release the Nine Yin and Yang.

A two-colored energy enveloped the two of them; a sword blade appeared above the two of them that continued to enlarge. The golden yellow sword was like the sun, which was shrouded in a bright gray mist like the moon.

The air crackled as the sword continued to expand to a length of over 100,000 miles.

Without wasting any time, Lin Chen and Yan Xue swung their hands together, making the sword fall down.

When the sword fell, the air split open and faintly saw a black cloud roll up. That cloud was the death energy around which condensed and was split apart by the sword.

Lord Sanzu felt an itch on his head as the sword continued to descend. He tried to escape but was unable to leave due to the Demon Whip that continued to reduce his strength. Gritting his teeth, he hollowed out his own body, throwing away the flesh pierced by the Devil Whip.

Lord Sanzu darted sharply to dodge the sword attack.

But, unknown to Lord Sanzu, the sword was not meant to attack him, but to stop the flow of the Sanzu River.

The falling sword struck the Sanzu River, creating a tidal wave hundreds of meters away as it managed to split the river a dozen miles wide and within a dozen miles.

Lin Chen and Yan Xue scattered in two opposite directions.

Lin Chen came to the front of Lord Sanzu whose strength had already decreased, and his regeneration ability was already restricted. He raised his right hand in front of his chest, then pushed it towards Lord Sanzu.
