Chapter 086: Signs of Destruction
When he was at the dining table, his mind was not in place, or you could say he was thinking about the group that was coming towards Huang Village. During his stay here, no one had ever gone to visit, not even the village next door had come.
"What's wrong?" Yi Xinran pricked the right cheek of Chen Hao Lin who stopped chewing.
Chen Hao Ling regained her senses from her daydream and turned to the right. "Mother, does anyone have Huang Village?"
Yi Xinran frowned. "Why did Hao Ling ask that?" Then he shook his head, and again continued his words, "Nothing, we are the victims of war who left the kingdom. Then stay in a dry and barren place."
War victim!? White never said this.
Chen Hao Ling clenched both hands tightly, then communicated with Uncle Ape for help, keeping watch on the two sides of the mountain in case something unwanted happened.
"Did Hao Ling think of something?" Yi Xinran was very worried about Chen Hao Ling. This happened two years ago, when it was raining heavily, his son behaved like this and his luster was flooded.
Chen Hao Ling looked up then shook his head. "It's okay." He smiled brightly looking at Yi Xinran and continued to eat the dishes.
Yi Xinran stared worriedly at Chen Hao Ling, but he did not ask further and chose to wait for what actually happened later. But, he must prepare himself whenever danger comes.
After he had finished his lunch, Chen Hao Ling did not go to the mountain to play, but rather cleaned the grounds of the house. And, he wanted to guard Huang Village until the time came, even though he had to bring out the secrets he had been hiding all along.

7 Days Later
Yi Xinran looked at Chen Hao Ling who was swinging a wooden branch in the courtyard with a warm gaze. It had already entered its fifth day since his son swung the twig, and in a little while he began to understand what was about to happen soon.
The war! That was all Yi Xinran could think of. Just as the flood was about to come, Chen Hao Ling poured the water in the glass to the brim and did not stop at all despite flooding the table.
But, hopefully what he thinks is all wrong and there will be no war going on here. If there is a war, of course Huang Village will be destroyed, considering everyone here is only a farmer.
"Everyone! There's a cavalry coming!" A young man in his twenties was running around the village road giving a warning.
Chen Hao Ling stopped his training, then he dashed west towards the river outside Huang Village. He wanted to see more clearly the cavalry who came, and their intention came here.
"Hao Ling!" Yi Xinran ran after Chen Hao Ling, but was not overtaken because of the fast running.
Chen Hao Ling was already on the river bank, looking at the roughly 350 horsemen and there was a luxurious red carriage in the middle, which was heavily guarded.
A dozen minutes passed by quickly, the cavalry had already stopped across the river with a look of condescension to the villagers. Seen in the front row was a middle-aged man wearing a silver-colored iron armor and carrying a long spear in his right hand.
"Buck! What are you looking at?!" The man pointed his spear at Chen Hao Ling.
"What are you guys doing here?!" Chen Hao Ling yelled back at the tree branch he was carrying.
Yi Xinran pulled Chen Hao Ling and hugged her from behind with a slight kneel. "Hao Ling's. Don't be rash."
The middle-aged man licked his own lips when he saw Yi Xinran, whose appearance was very attractive from other women. Only Yi Xinran alone looked to take care of herself and her skin was completely clean.
"Hui Kingdom will take Huang Village! You have to pay a grain and rice tax, two thousand catties each!" shouted the middle-aged man, which made all the residents of Huang Village startled.
The middle-aged man turned his attention to Yi Xinran. "Because this boy messed up, you have to pay with your body!"
Although Chen Hao Ling did not understand, there was anger rising in his heart. He took a small pebble under his feet and threw it into the man's face. "Get out of our village!"
"Fuck shit!" The middle-aged man cursed in annoyance while throwing his spear.
Yi Xinran who saw it hugged Chen Hao Ling tightly and used his back as a shield to protect his son from the attack. However, the spear did not hit his back, but rather fell into the river and there was a loud shouting sound behind him.
The Grey Ape was a wild beast that existed in the depths of the mountain and was extremely ferocious, extremely hostile to humans. The Grey Ape had a terrifying strength, its punch could crush large stones.
One was already extremely dangerous, but this was thousands of Grey Apes throwing stones from two sides of the mountain. In the blink of an eye, the cavalry were swept away into minced meat and pools of blood.

The incident where one of the villagers next door tried to enter one of the original houses of Huang Village, and when the owner of the house shouted, suddenly Grey Ape came to kill the person.
"Dad, Mother ..." Chen Hao Lin opened the door of his parents' room slowly, looking at the two of them who were fast asleep.
Chen Hao Ling approached the two. He raised his right hand to touch his own forehead with two fingers, then pulled it slowly, there were two wisps of white light coming out of his forehead.
He pointed his finger at Chen Haiyang and Yi Xinran. The wisps of light moved into both of their foreheads, making their bodies become fitter with the white light enveloping.
After he finished, Chen Hao Lin walked towards the exit and closed the door slowly so as not to wake his parents.
