Chapter 19 (Birth VS First Night )

Cantika who just woke up from her sleep, she saw her husband who was looking in the mirror while looking at his own appearance.

''Mas, where are you going?'' cantika asked her husband.

''You go out, why?'' ask Alvin.

''Tumben once went on holiday.''

''Yes, I just happen to want to go again.''

''If you may know, Mas Alvin is going where?''

''Just come out for a second. I just went right away, Alvin took the keys to his car that was on the nightstand, then he left immediately.

Cantika stared at her husband's departure until she could not be seen from her eyes. Then she called her man to follow where her husband was going.

Alvin was on his way to the hospital. But when he saw the cake shop, he stopped for a while to buy. After buying the cake, Alvin got in the car again. He had not realized at all if there was a car following him from behind.

Alvin stopped three times, namely at the cake shop, at the supermarket to buy fruit, and also in the public toilet. But he felt strange because there was a car behind him that also stopped when he stopped.

''Why does that car keep following me? What might just be a coincidence, Alvin murmured as he stared at the car behind him through the rearview mirror.

Alvin turned around, so he drove back to his house. The car, however, continued to follow him.

'Hm it turns out that the car was following me, ' Inner Alvin.

Alvin's making sense so he's no longer followed. He stopped his car in front of the mall. He parked his car in the parking lot of the mall. He saw the car that followed him across the street. Alvin decided to go to the mall. He's looking for a way out the back. Then he ordered a taxi online.

After fifteen minutes of waiting, finally the online taxi he ordered came as well. Alvin looked to his left right, making sure the car that was following him didn't see him. Then he got into the taxi, and asked his driver to drive his car to the hospital.

Now Alvin was calm because no one was following him anymore.

Soon, he arrived at the hospital. After paying, he immediately stepped into the hospital.

Alvin has arrived at Grandma Sandra's doorstep. He knocked on the door of the room. After that, he entered.

Nirmala who was sitting on the sofa, she smiled staring at Alvin's arrival.

''Siang, Mister.''

''Jiang too. How is your grandmother doing?'' Alvin approached Nirmala, then he put the hand he had brought on the small table in front of Nirmala.

''The doctor said the state of the grandmother has improved.''

''Thank goodness, I am glad to hear it. Oh yes this is a cake with fruit.''

''No need to bother, sir. I'm not feeling well.''

''Don't hesitate, Mala.''

Alvin stared at the sleeping Grandma Sukma. Then he turned to look at Nirmala who was sitting next to him.

''You've had lunch, Mala?'' ask Alvin.

''It just so happens that it's not yet, so why?''

''Nih eat the cake so as not to be hungry, ''' Alvin opened the plastic wrapping of the cake.

''It looks good, can I try?''

''Please! This is for you.''

Nirmala took a small piece of the cake, and began to devour it.

''Um this is delicious, come on Mr Alvin also eat!''

''From now on don't call me mister dong, I'm no longer your master.''

''Then what should I call? Sir, Brother, or ... '' Nirmala looked confused thinking of a suitable nickname for Alvin.

''Call me sister, '' she asked.

''Alright,'' she replied.

Alvin saw that there was cake left on the corner of Nirmala's lips. Then he rubbed it.

Nirmala was silent when she saw Alvin's treatment, which she thought was very sweet.

''Em yes, '' Nirmala looks misbehaved.

Alvin and Nirmala chatted with each other, so they did not realize that Grandma Sukma had been watching the two.

''Mala,'' with her limp voice, Grandma Sukma called out to Nirmala.

Nirmala and Alvin turned to the source of the voice.

''Grandma is awake?''

''Yes, Son. But grandma asked you to accompany.''

''Alright, Mala is always ready to accompany grandma, Nirmala got up from her seat, then she approached her grandmother.

Alvin came to Grandma Sukma.

''Granny is healing fast. Later if it is healed, I will take you on vacation, said Alvin.

''Yes, Son. Grandma always tried hard to heal quickly. Thank you for coming to see Grandma so often. Grandma so bad it's been troublesome Nak Alvin continues.''

''But I don't want to leave my grandmother.''

''Okay, sorry Mala stay first, Grandma. Just for a moment, I promise that when I finish lunch, I come straight back here.''

Sukma's grandmother stared at the departure of Nirmala and Alvin.

Twenty minutes they were out. Now they have arrived at Grandma Sukma's room. Nirmala saw her grandmother sleeping.

''The feeling of the new grandmother also woke up, now she was sleeping again, Nirmala murmured.

''Maybe your grandmother was exhausted, Alvin said.

''But it was not usual for grandma to sleep in this fast time, Nirmala stepped closer to her grandmother. Alvin sat on the couch.

Nirmala saw her grandmother's face look pale. As he wanted to rub the tops of his head, he felt a chill.

'Why is it cold?'' Nirmala turned to touch the other part, and it turned out to feel cold. When she touched her nose, she felt her grandmother's breath no longer exist. Then he checked his pulse and it turned out to be nonexistent.

''Grandma, Nirmala spontaneously shouted, she also sobbed.

Alvin who was sitting, he felt shocked when he heard Nirmala's cry. When she heard Nirmala crying, she immediately approached her.

''Mala, why are you?'' ask Alvin.

''Granny, she ... '' Nirmala could not continue her words because of her sobs.

Alvin saw the condition of Grandma Sukma. When he checked his pulse, it was no longer there.

Alvin hugs Nirmala, and tries to calm her down. Losing someone very important in our lives must be very sad. Moreover, it was the only family that belonged to him.
