Chapter 55 (Eternal innocence )

Three months later.

Alvin hasn't found Nirmala. He had to stop his search through a man, because it did not produce results.

Mr. Sanjaya felt sorry to see his son who lately seemed to concern himself with work. In fact, that's one reason for Alvin to spend more time at the office than at home. He deliberately did that in order not to keep remembering Nirmala.

Since the departure of his wife, Alvin immediately asked Renita to leave his life and not to appear again in front of him. He also threatens her if Renita again dares to approach her family.

It's seven o'clock at night Alvin just got home from work. He often comes home late because he intentionally overtime.

''Son, you just came home?''

Mr. Sanjaya looked at his son who had just sat down in front of him.

''Yes, yes, Pah. Oh yeah, Alvin's going out of town tomorrow. Yes, the place that Alvin will go to is a beautiful countryside. His intention was to persuade residents in the village so that the land would be sold to Alvin, he said.

''Do you have to jump in directly yourself? Why not just ask your assistant or another employee?''

''Alvin wants to jump right into the location, Pah. Just a vacation. Usually if the air in the village is still good.''

For a moment Mr. Sanjaya was silent. Maybe by letting Alvin go, that's best. It's possible that Alvin has other intentions as well with his departure plans.

''Okay, papah let you go, son. But remember yes, you should be able to take care of your health, '' Pinta Pak Sanjaya.

''Be grateful, but don't take long. As soon as the work is done, you just go home, Mr. Sanjaya.

"It's an important project plan so if you work faster it's better" Alvin said.

Alvin has arrived at a village that looks very beautiful. It took a struggle to get there, because the road was broken. Alvin looked around. He saw there was a settlement. Alvin left his car on the side of the road, then he approached one of the residents' houses. He saw someone standing in front of the house.

''Excuse me, may I ask?''

''Please!'' said friendly.

''Is there an inn around here?''

''Sorry, but in a village like this there is no lodging.''

''Maybe there's a house I can rent for a while, sir. I want to stay in this village for the next few days.''

''If I could know who this is? What is the purpose of coming to this village? I happen to be RT here, he said.

''My name is Alvin, from Jakarta. I want to offer cooperation that certainly benefits us all.''

''What kind of cooperation is it?"'

Alvin seemed to explain the cooperation he wanted to establish. Mr. RT understands what Alvin is explaining. Mr. RT also invited Alvin to his house so they could chat more comfortably.

Alvin was happy because his arrival was received in the village. He was also offered by Mr. RT to contract a house that happened to be working abroad. Alvin accepted the offer. For the next few days he can stay there while enjoying the atmosphere of the countryside so cool.

Alvin's done all his luggage. Now we go around the village. The arrival of Alvin in the village is certainly the center of attention. Moreover, the women in the village looked fascinated by the good looks of Alvin's face.

Alvin sees a pregnant woman who looks like Nirmala in front of the house at the very end. He tried to get to the woman. But by the time he got to the front of the house, the woman had already entered the house. Alvin tried to knock on the door, but no one opened it.

'What was just a hallucination, ' Inner Alvin. He decided to leave from there.

Actually what Alvin saw was true Nirmala. Nirmala knew that a man who looked like Alvin was staring at her from a distance, so she decided to go inside. He hid and accidentally did not open the door when Alvin knocked on the door of the house. Nirmala was alone, because Doni's family was going to his brother's house in the village next door.

Nirmala went into the room. He shut the door of his room.

''Why is Mas Alvin in this village? Is he looking for me? Ah I can't be too confident. It could be that all I saw was someone similar to Mas Alvin, Nirmala's inner being.

Nirmala also rubbed her stomach which already looked bloated. Yeah, the honeymoon she had with Alvin is now paying off. She is now pregnant with Alvin's child. Doni also knew about Nirmala's pregnancy. Doni was a little disappointed because there was no chance for him to have Nirmala. But he remained at his original goal of helping Nirmala. Maybe forever they are just destined to be friends.

Alvin went back to the contract he lived in. But before that he went first to the house of Mr. RT. Because there was something he wanted to ask.

Alvin knocked on Mr. RT's door. Before long, the door opened as well.

''Ah Mas Alvin, what else is it? Is there anything I can help you with? Come inside!''

''No need, I'm just for a moment. Look,'' Alvin stopped his words. He took his phone and opened the gallery. He showed a picture of his marriage with Nirmala to Mr. RT. ''Do you know this woman?'' ask Alvin.

''Oh, she looks like a pregnant woman living in the Doni family's house.''

''What's the last house?''

''Really, Mas. Did Alvin know that woman? She came in pregnant, many citizens were thinking badly of her. They thought that the woman was Doni's girlfriend.''

''She's my wife whom I've been looking for all this time.''

''That's right, he's my wife Nirmala.''

Bu Nuning smiled looking at the two who seemed to be channeling longings through hugs. Ms. Nuning went to the back to get Alvin a drink. After dropping off a drink, Ms. Nuning let them talk together.

“For what did Mas Alvin come here?”

“Mas intends to build a project here. Honey, you're back, same. After your departure, Mas has been looking for you out of town. Even asking people to help you. But Mas didn't find you. And now we've finally found it again, baby. That means we are meant to be together.”

“Then what about Renita?”

“Mas and Renita don't have any relationship, baby. He also asked her to stay away from our family life. Please, come back!” Alvin holds onto his wife's two hands.

Nirmala seemed to think, if only she hadn't gotten pregnant, maybe she wouldn't have been this easy to come back with Alvin. So now he decided to go back to Alvin for the sake of the child he was carrying. He doesn't want his son to be born without a father.

“Thank you, baby. Mas promise will always be faithful,” Alvin hugged his wife with a happy feeling.
