Chapter 25 (Radit Honesty )

Nirmala doesn't obey Alvin. He didn't go to the address of the house that Alvin told him about. But he went far from the capital. Maybe it's time he left Alvin's life. He is afraid that he will continue to misunderstand if he is still around Alvin.

Nirmala is on the bus. He will go to a place in central Java. But he was still confused as to where the exact destination was. For sure he was waiting for where the bus stopped, so he went down there.

After a long journey, the bus finally stopped at the last stop. Nirmala was sleeping, she was woken up by the bus conductor.

''Feng, wakeup! We have arrived in Semarang, said the conductor.

Nirmala opened her eyes.

''Where, sir?''

''Semarang,'' she replied.

Nirmala took the money in her bag and paid for it. After that he got off the bus.

Nirmala looked to her left right. He doesn't know where he's headed. He kept walking down the highway. Nirmala saw a piece of paper stuck to the front wall of the shop. He approached the store, then read the writing on the paper. It turned out to be a job vacancy.

''Neng, what do you want to buy? Just enter! You can choose first, said a shop owner.

''Ah no, I am reading this job vacancy.''

''Oh that, it just so happened to be a job vacancy at my former employer's house. I used to work in that house.''

''Is the vacancy still there? It just so happened that I was looking for a job, Nirmala said.

''Still, if you are interested let me just take you with me.'' the woman saw Nirmala seems like a good woman, so dare to offer the job.

''Am I not a hassle?''

''No, I closed the shop for a moment, '' the woman immediately closed the shop.

Soon the two left by bus. About a 40-minute journey, they reached their destination.

They walked to the residential complex. Finally they arrived also in front of the three-story house and looked spacious.

''Excuse me, sir.' said the woman named Marni.

''Uh Bi Marni, what's wrong?"

''This is me bringing people to work here.''

''Just enter! It just so happens that the master is inside.''

Both of them stepped into the spacious courtyard of the house. They were currently standing in front of the entrance. Bi Marni knocked on the door. Soon Kenzo, the owner of the house, opened the door.

''Bye, Marni. Long time no see, said the handsome young man who is none other than Kenzo.

''Yes, Sir. How are you, sir?''

''I am good, Alhamdulillah. Oh yes what did Bi Marni come here?''

''I brought a new maid who will work in this house, Sir.''

''Let's go in!'' kenzo said to both.

They followed Kenzo into the house. Now they sit on the sofa in the family room.

''Whose name are you?'' Kenzo asked Nirmala.

''My name is Nirmala, sir.'' he said.

''It looks like he is very young. All right, I accept you being the maid in this house. Incidentally in this house there are also two maids, but now they are shopping for home necessities.''

''Thank you, Sir. I am happy to have accepted a job here.''

''Same-sama, anyways you are Bi Marni's Innate, so where might I refuse. For a moment, I want to go to the room first, Kenzo just got up from his seat, then went to his room.

Now Kenzo has returned with a brown envelope, then given it to Bi Marni.

''Bi, this is a little money from me for Bi Marni because she has been looking for a new maid for me, '' he said, while offering the money.

''Thank you, Sir.''

''Mala, let me take you to your room, '' said Kenzo offering.

''OK, Mr.'' Nirmala picked up her big bag on the floor, and followed where she was going.

After escorting Nirmala to the room, Kenzo immediately left from there.

Nirmala looked at her room. Although small in size, it seems quite comfortable. There are fans and also small-sized televisions. After putting her clothes into the closet, Nirmala came out of the room.  He went to the kitchen. But he saw two men dressed in waitresses who were storing the staples. 

''Excuse me, can I help you?"' nirmala said, from behind them.

Both of them looked at the source of the voice.

''Who are you?" tanya Ika, who is a young maid who is negligent.

''I am Nirmala, the new maid in this house, '' he replied.

''You guide Nirmala yes, she is still new here, '' said Kenzo who just appeared.

''Well, sir.'' said Bi Sri and Ika simultaneously.

''Let me guide Neng Mala, '' said Bi Sri.

''Thank you, Bi.''

''Same-sama, Neng. Let's go to the back. You help me sweep in the back garden huh.''

''Well, Bi.'' Nirmala followed where Bi Sri went.

Ika did not seem to like the presence of Nirmala which he thought was very beautiful. Nirmala could be his rival for Kenzo's day.

Alvin goes to the rented house to meet Nirmala. He thought that Nirmala had come to the contract he had rented for him. But Nirmala wasn't there. He also asked the owner of the contract, even the rented neighbors who lived there, but they did not see the arrival of Nirmala.

Doldrumsily Alvin stepped towards his parked car in front of him.

Now Alvin is really missing Nirmala. Maybe he should look for her immediately, because Nirmala might not have gone far.

Tring

On the way, Alvin hears his cell phone ringing. It was a call from his wife.

'What the hell is he calling everything, ' Inner Alvin.

Alvin pressed the green button, he immediately spoke to his wife.

''What the hell is using all the phones?"' ask Alvin, who doesn't like it.

''Hurry home! There's Papah Sanjaya at home. He said he wanted to stay, said Cantika.

''Stay?'' Alvin was surprised to find out that his father would be staying at his house. If this is the case he can't just go out. Perhaps also during his father's stay, he couldn't find Nirmala's whereabouts.

Alvin finally arrived at his house. Upon entering the house, he saw his father and his wife sitting down and chatting.

''Vin, here, boy!'' pinta Pak Sanjaya's.

''Yes, Pah.'' Alvin approached them. He put his briefcase on the sofa, then sat down with them.

"You don't get too late if you come home from work, Vin. Poor wife waiting for you to come home."

"It's usually afternoon too, Pah. Lots of work in the office."

"From tomorrow you should have plenty of time for your wife. Poor thing she's pregnant."

"Yes, Pah."

Actually Alvin was lazy to talk about Cantika, but how else, when he was indifferent when his father invited him to chat.

Cantika looks happy because her in-laws continue to praise her in front of Alvin.
