"How much time is left until you get home?"
...
"Hm... Still long enough. But the thing is here, there seems to be a wild mouse infiltrating. We have to catch them immediately."
...
"Yes... Have you seen Miss?"
...
Qiandra's heartbeat quickened as the person called out the word "Miss."
"Felixes. That's Felix's voice. Why is he here?" qiandra.
Then Felix's voice called someone. But why would he know this room, huh? Was he one of the Qiandra captors that night? Or because he's one of the IT and security officers?
Mikko placed her index finger in front of her lips as a signal that they could not speak.
Still in the same position, they try to hold their breath and other movements that cause sound.
On this staircase without any bulkheads to take cover, they could only hope that anyone would not descend down. Because if not, then they will be an easy target for the cats who are looking for them.
"Why like de javu, huh?" mikko and Qiandra thought together.
This is the second time they've been locked up together. The difference is, this time they absolutely cannot scream to stay safe.
A few moments later the situation was quiet. There was no sound from Felix and footsteps approaching.
This isn't a trap, is it?
Drrkkp... There was a very terrible rumbling sound. Even the stairs where they stayed were trembling.
"Mikko, he locked the door. I think he set us up on purpose" whispered Qiandra in a panic.
"Calm down first. This room isn't just one, and you said back then, there was another way out right? We have to look for him immediately" Mikko said trying to calm the mood.
"But what if papa comes home?" qiandra was afraid.
This is very reasonable. Because, papa and his mother always avoided talking about this. In fact they always say, if the mysterious room does not exist. What are they really hiding?
"Don't worry about that first. We are already stuck here, so there is no other way, other than investigating this place" Mikko whispered as she stood up.
"I was curious, not what you proposed earlier," Mikko said later.
"Oh yeah, that's right."
Qiandra who incidentally did not like music too much, was forced to remember a note that he would play on the stairs.
Ting... Ting... Ting... Ting...
"This, right?" mengko.
"Yes, Nina Bobo's song," Qiandra said with a smile.
"But why this song?" asked Mikko astonished.
"We try it first. If you remember, I often hear this song vaguely. All this time I thought it was the sound of a song at an ancient hour in front of my grandfather's room" Qiandra explained, playing the song twice.
Drrkc... Taps... Taps...
"Well, really. Stairway shifted. Great," whispered Mikko.
The stairs slowly move. Qiandra hurriedly jumped onto the floor where Mikko was standing.
"But why did they choose Nina Bobo's song?" ask Mikko.
They while waiting for the stairs completely stopped.
"I don't know either. But maybe because the notes of each song are not far apart and repeated. So it's easy to remember" Qiandra replied.
Once again, their eyes were astonished at the sight before their eyes. The stairs had disappeared, replaced by a steep staircase leading down.
"Well, crazy! Your house is a former war fortress what about it?" Mikko was again preparing to go down the stairs.
"Wait a minute" stop the Qiandra.
"What's wrong?"
"Are you sure this is safe?" ask the girl. The room down there is completely invisible. The musty smell and fungal spores are getting thick.
"Where if there's a big trap like... A snake or a big pool of water?" Qiandra shuddered in horror.
Qiandra still looks doubtful.
"Calm down. This is your purpose for asking me to come, right? To accompany you."
Qiandra had no other choice.
Then they started down the stairs. But right on the ninth step, Mikko suddenly stopped.
"What else is it?" whiskey Qiandra.
Mikko did not answer. He just pulled out a secret weapon from inside the bag.
"You got lipstick? Got who?" Qiandra's getting confused.
"This is useful, let us not get lost," Mikko replied without explaining who it belonged to.
"Ah, I understand," said Qiandra.
They continued their exploration. The further down, the air gets more crowded. Exactly the same as what Qiandra felt when she was held first.
Srr.... Some pebbles fell down when they stepped on the stairs. His voice showed how deep the room below them was.
Taps! They stopped back.
The stairs are three. But all three ends are equally invisible.
"Which one do we choose?" whispered Mikko. He shone down on all three stairs. But their views remain limited.
"Hmmm..." Qiandra thought for a moment. "I think the far right" he continued.
"Why?"
"The ladder is pretty clean. Not too much dust. That means quite often passed by people," explained Qiandra.
"Then we take the far left" Mikko said.
"Well, what's left?" qiandra Protest.
"Yes, maybe this ladder is often passed by people. But we don't know, can they all come back?" Mikko.
"Hm... What a strange thought. Why should it be left? Why not try the middle one?"
"Eitherway. But look in the middle. There were many strokes on the stone steps" Mikko said.
"It's like an animal's run out" Qiandra said as she shuddered in horror.
"Well, as I glanced down the left staircase, I caught a glimpse of a lot of moss growing. The light is getting closer. And there's water vapor there too" Mikko explained.
"Are you sure?" whiskey Qiandra.
"We try to. Anywhere from the door we come out, they've probably been waiting for us."
Gluey! Qiandra's getting more tense.
As per Mikko's analysis, they went down the stairs to the left without interference, except for the slippery moss that began to hit the stone.
Fifteen minutes later, they stopped.
"You sure this is the right way? You can see, right, what's going on down there?" whiskey Qiandra.
"Yes, I saw it too."
Mikko and Qiandra saw many objects with strange carvings in their lower room. Some of them form very large boxes.
"Qian, i-it's not a coffin, is it?"
"I don't know either. But it seems so," replied Qiandra. "How's this? Are we going back upstairs?" qiandra.
"Don't! We've come here. Let's investigate."
With steady steps, Mikko headed to the large room, followed by Qiandra.
Trak!!!
"Yeah..." Qiandra shouted as an object rolled near her feet.
