THE TORTURED WIFE

THE TORTURED WIFE
Generation 2: Part 19

That morning Jennifer drove Maximus and Axel to the boarding school. The three of them were driving a private car. Maxsimus and Axel sat in the back seat while Jenifer sat in the front seat. Maximus was busy with the phone in his hand. Axel is listening to his favorite song.

"Bang, you're often flirting. Swipe my hand for you, brother" said Axel put his handkerchief on his brother. He has a large collection of handkerchiefs. There's his name on that handkerchief. From a young child Axel did like handkerchiefs, especially handkerchiefs made by Amanda. Unlike Maximus who is indifferent to such things. If it is dry even Maximus only wipes it with the clothes he wears.

"You alone?" maxsimus asked as he received the brown handkerchief.

"I've got a lot of bangs, take two," Axel replied. Not only one handkerchief, Axel carries several handkerchiefs in his bag or in his pocket.

"To me save," replied Maxsimus. He stuffed Axel's handkerchief into his clothing pocket. Later if a new dry is used to wipe it.

Axel nodded.

"Thank you Xel" said Maxsimus.

"Okay" Axel replied. He put his headset back on and raised the volume of the song he wanted to hear. While Maxsimus closed the phone screen and put the phone into the pocket. His eyes now turned to the car glass to see the scenery outside. The car kept going. Passing a long street.

"Good not stuck, can be spit up pesantren," said Jenifer. He has dandan totality to meet the handsome-looking Ustadz. The older the older the more. Even though they are just being their fans.

"Yes Oma" replied Maxsimus.

The car kept going. Maximus saw a veiled girl with a cane in her right hand. He was about to walk across the street. Make the car that Maximus is riding hesitant to raise the speed.

"Snake off!" Maxsimus.

"Yes Den." The driver stopped the car on the side of the road.

"You want what Max is?" ask Jenifer. Wonder why his grandson asked the driver to stop the car. It is far from pesantren.

"Before Oma" replied Maxsimus. He has not yet told what the purpose is to stop the car. When the car door opens Maxsimus exits. While Jennifer was just silent and Axel was still comfortable leaning on the back of the chair.

Maximus walked over to the veiled girl. He knew the veiled girl was hesitant to cross the street.

"Assalamu'alaikum" Maxsimus said.

The veiled girl turned her head to the side though like a person who was not staring directly at her.

"Oh, it looks like he's blind," inner Maxsimus. He thought the veiled girl was blind her eyes just focused forward not even blinking.

"Wa'alaikumsallam" he answered.

"Does Miss want to cross the street?" ask Maxsimus.

The veiled girl just nodded.

"Then can I help you cross over there?" ask Maxsimus.

The veiled girl was silent for a moment. Like thinking of something.

"Well, thank you in advance" he replied. He is well aware of his shortcomings. Moreover, there are so many lulu vehicles on the highway.

Maximus helps the veiled girl cross to the side of the road she wants. Just getting to the side of the road, the veil worn by the blind girl came loose and was carried away by the wind. He looked panicked and tried to find the whereabouts of his veil. Maximus takes out Axel's handkerchief and puts the handkerchief on the blind girl who is confused looking for her veil.

"Father, it can replace your veil for a while" Maxsimus said. He saw the beautiful face of the blind girl. There was a slight feeling of admiration for him.

"Thank you" he answered.

"If so I say goodbye first. Assalamu'alaikum" Maxsimus said.

"Wa'alaikumsallam" he answered.

"Why are you Max?" ask Jenifer.

"Just help someone cross Oma" Maxsimus replied.

Jennifer nodded and told the driver to drive back to her car. Maximus only saw the girl veiled from the glass until the car drove further and the veiled girl was no longer visible.

The Pesantren Al Iman

Jennifer and her two grandchildren got out of the car. They straightened their waist and flexed both legs that had been bent in the car. Staring at the pesantren that is so beautiful and magnificent. Plus the number of green trees and some plants that look soothing to the eyes. There were sounds of holy verses making them feel comfortable and calm.

"Alhamdulillah come too," said Jenifer.

"Yes Oma, unfortunately Mother must go to the restaurant, not so drive us," said Axel.

"Say Mother will follow if the business is done," Maxsimus added.

"Yes, there is Oma. Daddy and your mother have important business. Not thinking?" answer Jenifer.

They both nodded. Then started walking with Jennifer into the pesantren.
