THE TORTURED WIFE

THE TORTURED WIFE
Generation 2: Part 26

Mahira did not come home that night. Alex and Lara were still sitting in the living room waiting for him to come home. It is their habit, if Mahira has not come home, they must not sleep and wait for him to come home. Understandably Mahira's daughter, they always try to protect her and monitor everything so that Mahira is fine. Lara stands in front of a glass window while occasionally opening the curtains, hoping Mahira will come home soon.

"Ma sit! your gout will recur again" Alex asked.

"Udah Malem, Mahira really haven't come home Pa," said Lara.

"Maybe it's still on Ma's way, try calling again" Alex suggested.

"So called but not picked up" said Lara.

"Maybe on Ma's way again" Alex said.

They kept waiting for Mahira. While occasionally calling him back even though he has not been lifted by him.

In a different place. Mahira just got down to the lobby. He's out of his company. Coincidentally that night his work piled up, so Mahira had to overtime until night. He drives his own car, out of his company area.

Just half an hour driving, suddenly his phone rang. Mahira tries to put on a headseat to pick up the phone from Alex.

"Hallo Pa."

"Hallo baby, are you home yet?"

"It's just Pa's coming home, again on the road."

"Next time don't go home at night, no matter how you're a girl, it's not good to go home late at night."

"Yes Pa, this is also home."

Just said a few words, Mahira's car lost control, the brakes are blong. He tried to control his car but could not, continue to go at high speed.

"Mahira ... Panorama ..." Alex kept calling him but the panicked Mahira did not answer his father's words.

The car continues without being stopped. Mahira was frightened, she did not know how, suddenly her car hit someone who was about to cross.

Bruins ...

The person who was hit by Mahira bounced, the steering wheel was slammed to the right until it hit a tree. Then the car stopped. Mahira's head hit the steering wheel until it bled on his forehead and nose.

Thankfully, he is okay. Mahira gets out of the car and looks for something she hit. He walked to the middle of the road. There was a beautiful woman covered in blood. Mahira was instantly frightened. Moments later Mahira ventured to check on the woman's condition. He put his hand on the woman's nose.

"Not breathing ...," said Mahira. His body went limp for a moment, guilt filling his mind. He finds it hard to be a killer.

"I killed him" said Mahira.

Mahira walks back to the car with a face full of weight, he picks up his phone and calls his Papa.

"Why did you get cut off?"

"Pa I .. I ..."

"Why Nak?

"I bumped people to death Pa."

"What?" Alex surprised.

Mahira just cried. He feels very guilty.

"Of course, don't panic. Wait, Papa, don't go anywhere. Papa will be here soon."

"Yes Pa."

Mahira hung up. He sat next to his car. That night was a nightmare. He had made a woman die.

Alex arrived at the scene shortly. Alex brought his men to clean up the scene. He approached Mahira who was sitting next to his car crying.

"Mahira."

"Father!"

Alex hugged his daughter.

"Have ..., son, you must have accidentally. Papa's sure of that."

"But Pa, he died, all this Mahira's fault."

"Relax son, tell Papa what happened."

Mahira tells her what happened from the beginning until she hit the woman. She kept crying and blaming herself.

"Here you go, this is all destiny. You are innocent. It's not intentional."

Alex tried to calm his daughter. He believes Mahira is innocent, anything will be done to secure his daughter.

"Boss there's no CCTV on this street, no witnesses, and this is the woman's identity card" Alex's men said.

"Good, clean up the scene!" alex's orders.

"Good Boss."

Mahira was silent. He was still shocked by everything that happened all of a sudden. Never thought it would happen that way.

"Boss there's a police patrol."

"Let's go!" alex's orders.

"Okay Boss."

Alex invites Mahira to leave the place because there are police on night patrol.

Arriving at Mahira's house enter the room. She locked the door of her room, sitting in front of the door crying. He feels very guilty.

"I killed him. I'm a killer."

Mahira continued to blame herself. He witnessed the incident himself until it made an innocent woman to be stabbed by him.

In the study, Alex and his men were talking. Alex was sitting in his study chair while his men were standing facing him.

"Find out what the identity card owner's background looks like!" alex's orders.

"Good Boss."

"If you can, tomorrow morning, you've got the information" Alex said.

"Every Boss."

Alex's men walked out of the room after he finished talking to her. In the chair Alex was still sitting thinking about the problem that had happened to his daughter.

"Police must have found the accident, tomorrow I have to move faster than the police, Mahira must be free from punishment" said Alex.

Anxious Lara sees her daughter locking the door, approaches Alex in her study.

"Pa, what happened? why did Mahira lock the door to her room?" ask Lara.

"So Mahira bumped people to death" Alex replied.

"What's? Papa didn't say anything wrong, Pa?" ask Lara to make sure she gets back.

"No" replied Alex. The expression on his face was flat. Full of deep sadness. As a father, of course, Alex can feel the mental burden his daughter feels today.

"Why can it happen like this Pa?" ask Lara.

Alex tells Lara what really happened. Lara was crying. Alex stood up, walked over to Lara and hugged her.

"Prophet Ma, everything that happens is destiny for Mahira."

"What if our son goes to jail Pa?" ask Lara while crying.

"Papa will do anything to make Mahira free of Ma's law" Alex replied.

They both share sadness. Not because of this incident, but Mahira's feelings are now definitely destroyed. Not to mention the legal issues that must be faced.
