The Traitor: Relic War

The Traitor: Relic War
Chp. 39 Events That Make Him Feel Sad and Hit

Nightfall

Terrace Kingdom

The atmosphere was so tense flooded the entire room Zen, where on the bed is now lying Zen who is in a bare chest and the bottom is covered by a thick blanket that is now starting to be exposed to blood spots.

Nania and Elize were standing side by side with worried faces right behind Yuuna who was now using her magic to heal Zen who was lying with a sigh that was getting slower.

Not only was Yuuna trying to heal Zen back then but several other people wearing a red and white robe also helped her by giving a lot of bandages on some parts of Zen's body after closing wound and stop the bleeding first.

Yuuna stopped her magic chant then stood up and retreated A few steps back, and stopped right beside Elize.

Not far from them, Arthur and also some fighters like Shin, Iori and Rika stood with faces that looked anxious just like Elize and Nania, and the person standing near the entrance with a panicked face was Daven who was called by Elize to come in while Yurina had already first returned to her residence.

"There's nothing more to worry about Princess Elize..." Yuuna relieved with a slight pat on Elize's shoulder which looked so worried telling her that now Elize could calm down.

"Are you sure... Zen is fine... When will he wake up?!!" Answer Elize.

"Calm down, he's fine now, but sorry for now can't be sure when he'll wake up... So for now we can only wait for him..." Yuuna still answered him calmly even though Elize herself looked so panicked and worried.

Hearing that Nania heaved a sigh of relief, as well as everything that was in Zen's room.

"If possible for a while we leave Kanade alone and let her rest in peace..." Yuuna said again this time she made a request to Arthur.

"Alright, everyone here can return to their own rooms, thank you fighter Yuuna..." Arthur then walked out of the room.

Then followed by the fighters and also the healers who helped treat Zen.

"Nania you heard... Take it easy you don't have to worry... Zen is a strong man... He's gonna be okay... You just have to trust him..." Elize patted the shoulder of Nania who stood fixed and did not move a bit from where she stood and continued to look at Zen's face which gradually looked like normal and did not pale anymore.

"Well, I heard her Princess... But I'll stay here... What if later when master Zen wakes up there is no one who is nearby... Therefore let me here take care of Mr. Zen..." Nania refuses to ask Elize to leave Zen alone.

"I understand how you feel, because I also thought that way before... But as Yuuna said we should let Zen alone..."

"But the princess"

"Mania..." Elize gave the code to Nania by shaking her head, gesturing that Nania should stop talking and obeying him right then and there.

Unable to resist, Nania followed the instructions from Elize and walked towards the exit of the room with a step of resignation, her worried face did not change in the slightest as well as the turbulent feeling in her heart, as if refusing to leave Zen alone and telling him to stay by Zen's side.

Elize stared briefly at Zen's calm face, then followed Nania to the exit of the room, when the door closed so quiet and calm atmosphere enveloped the place where Zen was lying with a bandage covering his body.

Everyone has now returned to their own rooms, and for Daven himself he is currently being asked for an explanation of what really happened by the king.

Unknown Place

Unknown Time

"Good Morning..., is your sleep good?..." The heavy voice called out to the figure of the man lying not far in front of him, his pale body along with the unhealed wounds as if to tell that he was now in a dangerous state.

Zen opened his eyes slowly then raised his head, looking towards the figure of the man he felt was quite familiar.

"It... Where's?"

Zen's eyes seemed to be fading, and there was not the slightest trace of life in them, the tone of his speech was so slow and raucous that it sounded very different and gave a different impression than the usual Zeb.

"You don't need to know..."

"What... Which actually happened... Why am I here?..."

"I told you you don't need to know anything... You just need to remember what you have to do, and why I sent you to another world..."

"Well... Don't forget that, that's all you have to make sure is in your memory now... Because you're the traitor... And that's your duty..."

"We'll meet again when your assignment is done... See you soon..."

The bright light of the afternoon sun is now starting to heat the air temperature in the Zen room, the window that is left open makes a breeze enter and cool the Zen room that looks so neat and clean.

Two days had passed since Zen returned to the royal palace with a body full of wounds, and from then on Zen had not regained consciousness and remained motionless from his bed.

Time after time was spent by Nania just to check whether Zen was conscious or not, and all day only he was in and out of the room to clean the room and see Zen's condition.

A small blink of an eye was done by Zen who was now starting to open his eyes slowly because the sunlight was so dazzling penetrated into his room, His eyes opened and a blank-looking gaze stared at the pure white sky of the room.

"It... Where's the... Again" he murmured then turned to the left side where there was a chair sitting in the middle by a woman dressed as a servant sitting quietly with her eyes closed, and from the Zen vision the woman was now drifting in her nap.

Zen turned his head back to the right side and looked at his arm because he could not feel his right arm.

"Ehh... Actually what happened... Why is my body full of wounds..." He said in a voice so soft, he raised his body with his left hand and sat on the bed bare-chested.

Hearing a small groan from the front makes Nania open her eyes directly and look at Zen who is now sitting pensively on the mattress with eyes that look empty.

"Z... Zen" He said with a voice that sounded vibrating, making Zen turn his head while maintaining an empty expression towards Nania.

"Gohh!" Zen groaned in a soft voice as Nania suddenly jumped out of her chair and hugged her still-painful body from the side.

"Thank God you're sober... You're making me very worried... You lied, you reneged on your promise... You told me to come back safely... But you came back with a lot of injuries... You were unconscious for 2 days... How worried I am about you..." Nania said in tears on Zen's shoulder which had a puzzled expression with eyes that looked dead.

Nania kept crying in her arms, while Zen herself did not react to anything other than letting Nania continue to shed tears and wet Zen's shoulders.

"Zen??" Nania who finally stopped crying and released her embrace looked at Zen with a look of wonder after Zen had not given any reaction at all.

And from what he saw Zen was staring blankly at the front, his flat expression seemed very cold added Blue eyes which now no longer look shiny.

Zen turned around because he felt that he was the one Nania had summoned.

"What's up... Are you okay..." Tanya worried Nania after witnessing that blank expression with her own eyes.

"Who..?" Ask with a tone that is so flat and without the slightest emotion in it.

Nania raised both her eyes when she heard the question from Zen.

"What did you say Zen... Its me... Nania..." He replied in a panicked tone that sounded like he was trying to be detained.

"The zen... Is that my name??" The question again now looks like trying to remember something.

"Zen is not funny to make a joke..."

"I'm sorry... But I'm not kidding... You haven't answered who you are either... And do I know you? I also don't understand the promise you're referring to..."

"The zen... Don't tell me you!!" Nania closed her mouth as if she was really hit with what happened to Zen.

He did not expect that Zen's suffering would not end here, and of course as a person close to Zen he felt very sad when he knew that Zen.

His memory loss...
