The Traitor: Relic War

The Traitor: Relic War
Chp. 53 Return to Nipotia

"Sister Zen... Good morning..." A voice that sounded quite cheerful from the front, where Zen had just left Arthur's room and was intending to return to his room.

"Morning..." Brief reply Zen intended to pass Daven who at that time looked so happy just from the look of his face.

"What's up, Zen... You seem to be thinking about something?, did something happen..." Daven followed Zen's steps that had passed him and then walked side by side.

"No need to ask, besides apparently you're still here... I thought you were back in the Kingdom of Nipotia..."

"Actually I intend that... But lately, Yuuna has been asking for my help... It's like this..." Daven replied with an awkward smile then scratched the back of his non-itchy head.

"Yuragi?, I didn't know you were close to him"

"Sir Yuuna is very good... He is a gentle and intelligent man... I feel comfortable around him..."

"Either from what you said I was goosebumps... That sounds disgusting hearing it from you..." Zen said then further accelerated his pace.

"So Zen's brother should support me instead of ridiculing me..." Reply Daven now he followed the speed of Zen's steps and again walked side by side with him.

"Support you?... Hey Daven let me ask you one thing... What's your real purpose?" Zen stopped, he now turned to look at Daven with sharp eyes as if to intimidate Daven.

"To avenge the death of my brother..." Daven replied in a soft voice.

"Then what are you doing?"

"none... But brother Zen I have avenged the death of my sister... I'm satisfied now because it's at least let me-" The voice stops, daven's mouth could no longer make a sound after Zen's eyes became so intense that they looked like blue eyes ready to take his life right away.

"Well, you're right... After all it is your Revenge as well as your personal affairs... It's up to you to continue or not, because there's absolutely nothing to do with me..." Zen became calm in the speech, the look in his eyes became as usual then passed leaving Daven who was still standing.

"But remember Daven, you still owe me something... And one day you'll have to completely make up for everything... I hope you're prepared, because if that happens... Then we shall never meet again..." Zen continued without even turning around, he quickly passed from Daven's sight and headed back to his room.

"Sister... Zen.." - Zen..."

"The snow is getting thicker..."

For the umpteenth time Zen said the same thing when looking out the window of the room, where in the yard green grass grass is now increasingly drowned in white snow that looks cold and clean.

For others it may seem like something fun but for Zen who has a guess as to where the snow is coming from makes it look like a gradual disaster is coming.

"It's only been a day and even a few hours since the snow fell but it's really thicker than it should be... I think it's true that this is because of Artifact..."

"But for example this is true what is the benefit of them doing this... Is there a certain thing until this happens... Besides, I'm still curious about the witch forest... I guess it's useless to think of it for yourself..." Zen grabbed a thick robe that he had placed on the table earlier then just immediately put on it immediately.

After that he glanced out the window for a while, there was Luna who was playing with her cheerfully in the snow accompanied by Iori, Shin, who was playing with her, Rika and a few other people who are known by Zen.

This is an advantage for Zen because they are completely unaware of Zen in the slightest, maybe even considering his existence in this world alone they will forget to temporarily play so cool on the white snow that is so cold.

"Shadow Magic: Reach Enchancer" Zen cast his magic and disappeared from the room so quickly without anyone knowing.

He intended to go directly to the kingdom of Nipotia to meet the king, Demian, but his move did not get any good treatment at all because when he had just seen the whole room he was first surrounded by a spear that directly stimulated his neck.

"Guns..." His face was soft, he did not move from where he stood and only looked around the room where there were so many people gathered and the king and his family were on the throne.

"Zen Kanade's..." Demian recognized the figure, though, the figure who had made him feel dizzy over the news he brought when it was all just a ruse from Zen in order to get large-scale assistance but fortunately the Nipotia kingdom did not know about it.

"Good morning King Demian... I think I have a little advice for you... What if this Government changed this disrespectful way of welcome..." Reply Zen who does not look daunted.

"Let your weapons down... I recognize the boy..." Demian raised his hand up to grab the attention of the entire army besieging Zen, asking them to let go of their gunpoint.

"Thank you very much for your understanding..." Zen said in relief after he was able to move freely.

"What business are you here for..."

"No problem... Let's just say maybe your arrival here also has something to do with the problem we're discussing..." Reply Demian looked towards all those present at the important royal meeting, where their faces all seemed tense.

"If you insist fine... My goal here is to talk about snowfall when the change of seasons has not yet occurred..." Answer Zen.

"It just so happens that we're also talking about it here..."

"What a coincidence... But I have a condition before our discussion starts..."

"Tell me..."

"I just want this discussion followed by you and me..." Zen gave a glare of eyes so sharp, his eyes glanced at Demian very non-relaxedly.

"Then let my wife and son follow... Maybe they can come up with a solution..." Demian bidar, he did not mind the conditions proposed by Zen because he himself knew what the real Zen figure was.

"No problem..."

"Then besides my wife and son please leave the room and wait for the next order..." Demian stood up then gave the order in such a resolute voice that all those present directly according to left the room including the guards, and only left Zen, Demian and his family members.

Zen was amazed for a moment with the loyalties of the palace residents because they looked very respectful and obedient to the will of the king.

"All right, it's gone now... So what do you want to say..." Demian continued after that back sitting on his chair.

"Father need not always obey the words of this dangerous looking stranger..." Maihime spoke with a cynical look at Zen.

"Mai, just calm down... If he's dangerous, I'm sure you can beat him... But I think he's really not dangerous at all..." Demian replied to his daughter.

"Of course I can do it Dad..."

"A very close relationship... But whatever... Well let's kick off... King Demian, what do you think is the cause of this snowfall..."

"At first I just thought it was a little bit of a faster change of season... But looking at history like this is the first time the season has changed so quickly... So I thought that was impossible..." Demian held onto his chin and was thinking about something.

"I didn't think you'd hook that up on history..."

"What do you mean, stranger... Are you saying that my father's actions were wrong ha!!" Maihime snapped towards Zen with an elevated voice.

"You just shut up... People who don't know anything like you don't deserve to talk like that..." Zen was not afraid of the clash and instead gave an intimidation towards Maihime which immediately made him sculpt when exposed to such a sharp Zen gaze.

"A. what are you saying..."

"Mai shut up first... So Kanade Zen what do you know about this incident..." Demian shifted his gaze instantaneously from Maihime then returned a glance towards Zen.

"What if I told you this time it came from your kingdom..."

"There is no theory as to why you could conclude that this incident originated in our kingdom..."

"Seeing from the snow now... The possibility of snow falling in this Kingdom is night time meaning that this kingdom is the first to snow... While the Kingdom of Terarria had just descended this morning... Is there anything you can say about that king Demian?" Zen walked to one of the windows on the right side of the room then glanced at the roof where a lot of snow was piling up.

"That means this kingdom is the cause of the snowfall?, but we can't possibly do anything to the detriment of the kingdom by lowering the snow before the Relic war... It will only reduce our level of strength..."

"Take it easy, King Demian... I'm just saying that this Kingdom is the origin... It doesn't mean you made it..." Zen was seen laughing slightly sinisterly as Demian's face looked panicked.

"Then... Don't tell me this was a rebel yesterday... Isn't that long enough... I know just by looking at your arm..."

"Don't quip about that here, but what you're saying is true... But that's not it.."

"This is all from the forest of witches in your kingdom..."
