After enjoying Azira's piano playing, Mark approaches his mother to inform her of Alea's pregnancy.

"Mommy. There's good news for mommy. Alea is currently pregnant with our twins" Mark said, but there was no immediate reaction from Stevani.

"Mark. Mommy wants to talk alone with you in mommy's room!" pinta madam Stevani without responding to the happy news from her son about her grandson's whereabouts in Alea's womb.

"Speak here, mommy! There's no secret between me and Alea" Mark explained.

"So, you want this woman and your next child to know that, too?" ask madam Stevani cynically.

"Is this related to that woman?" guess Mark already knows the direction of his mommy talk.

"Yes. How could you be so desperate to marry this woman while you are still engaged to doctor Claire?" stevani's mistress's nagging makes Mark quite nervous if Alea misrepresents her mommy's remarks.

"We never engaged mommy and mommy obviously knew I turned down the engagement because I didn't like Claire's doctor at all" Mark said.

"Mark. If it wasn't for her mother, you wouldn't have recovered, dear" said Ms Stevani, who owes Claire a lot of money.

"Mommy. Married in return, the relationship will not work. My heart doesn't love Claire at all. It will put a burden on him" Mark said.

"At least he loves you very much. He's willing to do anything for you. He's waiting for you. He's sincere with you and he's still pure untouched because it doesn't belong to anyone" Ms Stevani said.

"So, mommy would like to tell me that my decision to marry a child widow is wrong?" mark asked still politely because he did not want to be rude to his mother.

"Yes. At least you're not stupid like your father who got mommy" said Stevani, who is married to her uncle Claire.

"Stupid....? So, mommy regretted marrying Daddy Charles? Mommy doesn't love her or mommy still wishes on the bastard who abandoned us?" mark's wrath on his real father.

"Your stepfather is too good for mommy. It was so good that mommy felt completely worthless in front of her. And maybe my feelings are the same as your current wife, aren't they Alea?" madame Stevani asked Alea to justify her statement.

Mark looked at his wife to dig out the truth from Alea over her mother's statement." Is that right, baby?" ask Mark.

"No. I love you and I feel like the happiest woman on earth without any guilt getting you single" Alea said.

Madam Stevani was so furious at Alea's words beyond her expectations." It turns out you're a real shame to take advantage of my son's situation for liking your twins, "trivial Ms. Stevani.

"Sorry mommy. I wouldn't fight my reason if my heart wanted your son. I love her so much. And I'm even more tormented if he chooses another woman who is a girl just because Mark is a single man" Alea replied.

Mark smiled at Alea's intelligent reply, who was so honest with her and her birth mother." Good job baby," Mark's inner praises his wife.

Mrs Stevani, who initially had empathy for the twins, has now turned to following her anger, which she feels has a debt of gratitude to her sister-in-law.

"You're so outrageous. Married secretly to this widow without mommy's consent" said Stevani.

The atmosphere became quiet and Mark was very uneasy with his little family.

"Alright mommy. If mommy objected to my family being here, we'd be back in New York. Thanks though. Come on Alea, let's go...!" pinta Mark was clinging to Alea's hands which could do nothing because she also had to keep her emotions because she was pregnant.

"Mark. If we leave it will make mommy hate me even more" Alea said.

"Would you like to repeat history to receive another insult from my mother-in-law and that is my own birth mother? I've seen enough of how your ex-mother-in-law has treated you who are now in prison and I don't want you to be the second victim of my mother" Mark said of saving his family.

"But Mark, pity mommy," said Alea, who was very sure that her mother-in-law was currently testing her.

"She herself as a woman has no pity on you who is pregnant with her granddaughter. I guess the fate of my widowed mother like you would make her accept you gladly, but my prediction was wrong.

Don't waste time thinking about people who don't have feelings for you even if it's my own mother" Mark said, opening the car door for his wife.

Abrar and Azira are not bothered by the problems of their parents. They could have been rude to Mrs Stevani but because of Mark they could have restrained themselves.

Because it was late at night, Mark chose to stay at the hotel in the city of Houston. They have not had dinner at all.

In the hotel room, after making sure the twins were asleep, Alea met her husband who was still struggling with his work on his laptop. He still needs an explanation Mark never explained who Claire was.

"Mark's."

"Hm!"

"Who is Claire and why don't you accept the girl? Isn't she single?" asked Alea curiously.

"I don't care. And I don't think I need to explain anything about that girl because from the beginning I never loved her. I think you already know the reason when I was arguing with mommy this afternoon. So, do not need to be discussed again," said Mark still looking at the screen of his laptop.

"What if one day he comes and messes things up?" ask Alea.

"She's not my wife and she has no right to rebuke you. So, maintain your status as my wife because you are the one I chose instead of her" Mark said.

Alea smiled. Mark's attitude is very firm with his face because it has a strong principle of life. Fear nothing as long as it holds fast to the truth. That was what made Alea so relieved and happy.

"Aren't you sorry that marrying me is just a widow, Mark?" ask Alea.

"For me you are a lady of honor. Regardless of what your status is, I don't care. For me, the love I have for you answers all the doubts in my heart.

Unless you belong to someone else and I snatch it, that's problematic. As long as we are both free people why think about the judgment of others? Tired of knowing, don't you?" cecar Mark was quite reasonable for Alea.

"What you said, dear. If our lives are based only on the judgment of others, it will never be endless because what they see is not from our side as a legitimate married couple, but they judge based on their own very superficial point of view based on what they want.

How long can we be happy just thinking about the feelings of others?" it was Inner Alea who was beginning to understand the feelings of her husband who loved her so much and her twins.
