“Mother!”
The sound of screaming from Aundy welcomes Salma's arrival at the home of her parents. This morning, Salma was forced to return home, taking care of her daughter who was about to go to school. But, when Salma arrived at her parents' house. The girl was neat with the batik uniform worn.
Salma commented a smile, in her heart complaining. How could he forget the figure of Ody? I have to remember everything.
“Mother, has Sabda's father called?” aundy asked, hugging tightly at Salma's waist.
Aundy yunya Sabda has returned to South Kalimatan yesterday. So, it was only fitting now that he asked her like that.
“Em—.” Salma answered briefly.
“Mother from where? Last night was business, same who? Father Word is gone!”
Because of the anxiety with the question that Aundy asked. Salma pinched her daughter's cheek gently. “Don't be curious, mom is finishing up adult affairs. So, Ody for a while, in the akung house first yes!”
“Ih mother! But, Ody was curious. Will you also leave again?”
"We'll see." Salma unraveled Aundy's embrace, continued her steps, approaching Bu Deva who was sitting on the porch of the house.
“Have breakfast yet, Sal!” ask Miss Deva.
“Later first, Bu.”
Salma turned towards the banner that had just finished parking the car. “Anterin Ody yes, Nji! my head feels really heavy!”
“Ya!” The banner that looked exhausted, only answered briefly.
Seeing that Salma had already entered the house, Ms. Deva was curious as to what was really going on.
“What's wrong with your Ma'am, Nji?” bu Deva asked while hitting Panji's hand, preventing her son from reaching for the fried banana on the table. “Adjustments! Why not wash your hands first! hands a lot of germs!”
“Males, Mom!” Panji replied, desperately reaching for the fried banana. “Bapak is bad, Mom! make trouble like!” panji said his voice was not so clear because inside his mouth was filled with fried bananas.
Even so, Bu Deva understood what Panji said, the tail of his eyes glancing towards Aundy. “Later to speak, there's Ody!” whispered.
While in the room, Salma immediately dropped his body into the mattress. A full night of sleep makes his head feel heavy. She decides to go to sleep, trying to recover her depleted energy from thinking new facts about her husband. Before later, she returns to the hospital to look after Endra.
Particularly tired, Salma fell asleep so quickly. Didn't even hear Aundy's voice saying a saying goodbye. The woman was already busy with her new world ....
The elf car that Salma was riding drove slowly, getting further away from the position of Sabda and Aundy. For a moment Salma's gaze was fixed on the position of the two of them, it felt like wanting to stop the elf car being boarded, then re-hugging his daughter. Ask Aundy to come home with him.
There was a feeling of doubt, Salma could not believe the Word completely, worried that the man would ignore Aundy. Yes, even though she was far from Aundy, but usually the girl was with her parents.
Leaves a shadow about Aundy and the Word due to the ever-increasing distance. Salma's view turned to flat objects that had been faithful in the grasp of the hand. Salma understood, waiting three months was common, but a day without news from Endra made his mind frown.
During her time as wife of Endra, she always tried to be a devout wife to her husband. Wherever mandatory permission, and definitely—Endra always reply. But today everything feels different, the message, the phone that was done did not get a response at all.
All day, Salma had repeatedly contacted Endra, not anxious anymore, but the sense of it increasingly outwit the peace of his soul. He contacted Endra, even if counted already more than thirty times. And the result, still nothing.
“Where did Mas Endra go? the training person also has time to rest. At least reply to my message, Mas!” muttered Salma, staring blankly at Endra's name on the phone screen.
Right after, the elf car he was riding in Salma stopped at a nearby travel agency. The driver deliberately stopped the pace of his elf, because it raised passengers who wanted to travel to the city of Semarang.
Salma had to wait, for a moment it felt dull. Until not long after, Salma's view fell on this man sitting on the front bench of the pharmacy. Men in white shirts with short shaved haircuts. What was none other than the figure of a man who had been disturbing his mind all day.
“How can the man be here? Didn't he say he was training?!” Salma was going down, approaching Endra.
Salma's chest felt tight, finding a lie that was found late in the afternoon. The intimacy they showed further strengthened the relationship between the two. A moment later Salma seemed to wake up. He wanted to approach the two to ask for an explanation. However, the elf car that was now boarded slowly left the agent. Ready to continue the journey.
“Pak can stop for a while!” Salma hit the window pane, gesturing for the driver to stop his elves.
“Sorry, Mom! we need to continue the journey. Pity each other passengers!” The driver refused Salma's request.
The woman observed the surrounding conditions, there were already many benches filled, and she understood the driver could not possibly delay the departure time just for her.
Salma tried to calm down, controlling the anger that seemed to hold tightly to her soul. The fingers are busy again, dancing on the screen, trying hard to contact Endra. One call, no response —until the experiment to seven men finally raised his call.
“Mas Endra where?” todong Salma, direct.
“Why the hell, Sal? Again home from work, where else, indeed?”
Salma closed her eyes, with all her strength holding back her tears when she found out about the lie that Endra had done. But it feels futile. Her tears were too clever looking for a crack, even her cheeks were now wet.
“Work? Sure work?" salma asked, in a raucous voice. "Not alone with another woman in front of the pharmacy? Mas know, Salma hates traitors the most, but Mas Endra just confess what Salma hates.”
“Sal?” the voice across the call sounded anxious.
“You are evil, Mas!” With her hands still shaking, Salma disconnected the call. One hand Salma now works to close his mouth, muffling the cry that wants to be shouted.
When he was about to store his phone into a bag, the elf car that Salma was riding suddenly lost control. The next second some passengers started to panic until the screams sounded so loud, filling the corner of the elf seat. Intentions want to contact Sabda, but her phone instead falls somewhere.
Just as the car stopped shaking, Salma's heart stopped beating. Salma was surprised, her body felt newly awakened from a dream.
Salma took a seat, her face looked puzzled. Even like not recognizing the room in the house to two parents.
“Mas Endra?” muttered. “Dia? Cheated on? So, that pregnant woman Arienta?” Salma hit her head lightly which felt heavy. Looks like he should go home and take the medicine the doctor prescribed.
“What's possible? But I feel like it's not a dream? Mas Endra cheated, it really ever happened?” salma Mumbles. It takes a few minutes to calm down, after feeling enough to control your emotions. Salma stepped out, looking for Panji, asking the man to drive her home.
“Which appointment, Bu?” salma asked, coming to Bu Deva who is now in the laundry room.
“Lecture. You don't see what time it is!” Ms. Deva looks upset.
Salma glanced towards the wall clock. Feeling, he had only slept for a while, but why was it now eleven in the afternoon.
“Eat there! have that stomach on guard, don't get acid!” said Ms. Deva.
To quell her anxiety, Salma quickly stepped into the kitchen, took the dishes and filled them with food. Who would have thought that Bu Deva was following him.
“Panner has told all to mom, Sal!” said Ms. deva. “Reach! I will support you! I'd rather see you living alone than being hurt like this! I don't care if you have to divorce a second time!”
Hearing that Salma immediately stopped chewing, lost his appetite. “Do you know, Mom? how is it now?” asked Salma who was worried about Mr. Arif's condition.
“Not yet. Panji just told Mom. The affair is too painful for you. Even if today you forgive her, I am sure for life, you will never trust Endra again! after all, he can't leave his wife and baby either.”
Salma shook her head, staring at the food that had just been taken. Mother is right, the affair will continue to ring in the head. So, even if he forgives in the end he must also release Endra.
"Did Mas Sabda cheat, too, Mom?! Is the cause of Salma and Mas Sabda's divorce the same because Salma is being cheated?"
"Salma, you're a woman who's good at keeping secrets. I never know what made you decide to split up. Just to your surprise, the feeling during your marriage, only the happiness you showed us."
