The Worship of Ex-Husband

The Worship of Ex-Husband
Debates

Salma and Endra just ended the chat over the phone. Both of them express each other the words of longing that is increasingly torturous. And only the meeting was able to eliminate the sense that now both attack the two. But unfortunately they have to wait another 9 weeks to meet. That's also if the manpower in charge of approving Endra leave dates.

Yes, it's been a week since Endra returned to work, and Salma's life has grown accustomed to the man's absence. Knowing Endra today is off day. Salma ventured to ask about the hotel bill that this week disturbed her peace of mind. He was already curious about Endra's explanation regarding the bill that was found.

Salma: Is Endra sleepy?

Salma tried to ask first, considering it was nine o'clock in the evening. That means, in the Kutai Kartanegara region it is 10 pm.

Mas Endra: Not yet darling, want to call again?

Salma smiled and then replied briefly; No.

No more replies, Salma again typing the message.

Salma: Mas, a week ago I found a bill in the pocket of Endra's gold jacket left at home. Mas Endra of Dieng?

One minute there was no reply from a man named Rajendra Arwenda. Salma knew clearly that the man had read the message. Salma thought that it was actually Endra's bill.

Salma sent her a picture of the bill, though it was not clear she hoped Endra could explain it to her.

Salma: This is. You sound, Mas? When yes?

Mas Endra: Yes, dear. I just remembered, thankfully you've seen.

"Do you really have Endra?" Salma was doubtful. "When did he leave?!"

Salma: When did Mas Endra leave?

Salma: Feelings of no parting with me if you want to go to Dieng?

Salma: How did he hide that, hayooo why?

Mas Endra: Well, why would I go check-in, SALAH? I just want to keep my mind. You suspect me? You suspect that I'm doing something to another girl? Do not just recriminate! I'M A GUY, I CAN TAKE CARE OF MYSELF. IF YOU HAVE ONE ALREADY!

Salma: Oh, how to make it! Salma just asked. When did it go, because the date there is not visible. What's wrong ask that doang!

Mas Endra: Obviously wrong, your attitude is as if I check in with another woman.

Salma: Where are my charges? I didn't accuse you? Re-read it, I just asked when it went. If you don't answer yes already!

Mas Endra: So the Word does not feel at home with you. You must always be giniin, right? some self-introduction, Yang!

Salma: Sorry.

Salma muffled her anger she was no longer staring at the screen of the phone which would further make her emotional. Salma put her phone on the table, trying to forget about the bill paper problem she found. Hopefully it was just his excessive fear. Endra may not break the promise that has become their commitment.

As Salma changed her sleeping position to the side, Aundy's sleeping face immediately greeted her. As if giving a little calmness that was able to make his heart much better. Without waiting for Salma to fall asleep, she slept hugging her daughter. As if the world felt in his grasp, he was happy together with Aundy.

...----------------...

Salma's routine goes on as usual, driving Aundy back to clean the house. Sometimes when he gets bored he wants to go back to work. But unfortunately Endra did not allow Salma to work. He said ashamed, the husband's time working in his wife's coal mine at home is still forced to work. Her husband's salary was not enough to support them.

"Have breakfast?" the sentence greeted Salma's hearing as her feet made it through the lips of the door.

"Sorry, Mom! Ody asked to buy soto."

The woman smiled wryly, while focusing on her washing machine dryer. "Sal!"

"Hum?" Salma answered weakly.

"Yesterday, I met Miss Bibah. He told me that he would soon want a ghost, he said he would respond to the same wayang meddling!" the Agung Bu Deva.

"Alhamdulillah, dong Buk." Salma responds quickly.

"Ody how? I'm just worried about Ody."

"Yes not papa. Ody's my son." Salma grimaced when she found a towel on her arm. Miss Deva that fifty-year-old woman was indeed so, though a little rude but she was so fond of Salma.

"I mean mom, that! if you're not worried about Sabda, what if she forgets Ody?"

Salma took a deep breath. "Salma was worried that Ody would rather stay with Hani than Salma, Buk."

"Yes, no. Ody. He will always be with you. If the Word requires custody, mother will defend you!"

"Doain, Buk."

"Pastime! after all, you were the first one to marry. You are happy with Endra. Your parents love you too. Bakale ayem if I leave you!" Bu Deva chuckled at the deeply bent look of Salma. "Are you pregnant yet?"

"Mother what the hell, the people of Endra just come home I just came by the moon. Where is pregnant?" salma answered with a small laugh, but for two weeks they worked hard just two days off.

"Patiently yes. Household is a different test."

Salma nodded her head. Both from the first marriage and the second marriage. Salma never told the family the ins and outs of her household. She felt the need to take good care of her husband's bad. So, even though she and Sabda were divorced, her parents never knew the reason behind her divorce.

"When is Ody coming home?" ask Miss Deva.

"Not knowing, Buk. Maybe this month too."

"So much for Ody's phone?"

"Just Sunday." Yes, every Sunday the Word is routine call Aundy. Whereas in ordinary days, it is very rare for the Word to contact unless there is something important.

"When's the word of the phone with your sister. I don't know what to say!" Bu Deva tried to lure his daughter.

"Let's be important not the same Salma who can make Endra jealous."

Bu Deva's laughter grew louder. "Kayae discussed his future wife, right, the candidate was one campus with Panji."

Honestly, Salma just found out that Hani is still sitting in college. Maybe the phone call was just to ask about Hani. "Oh, still in college? Nice dong buk. Young, pretty, his career will be good." Salma was so praising the candidate of the Word.

"You are sincere . God willing, Endra is the best man for you."
