002: Ancestral Figure
"Chairman...! what will the Chairman do?"
Elder Ma Hua ventured to ask with a slight breath of gasp due to the aura of inner power.
Elder Ma Hua was Sixty years old and was the strongest person after Guo Jin, so he was slightly able to withstand the pressure of the energy aura within his sect head.
Guo Jin turned his body around with a faint smile before responding to Elder Ma Hua's question.
"Elder Ma. I will do something to ascertain the greatest Secret of our sect. If anything bad happens to me, keep this Chairman's badge. This badge was the key to entering the Sect Chief's Secret Room. Inside the room was a green sealed scroll. You'll get the answer there. Remember, the contents of the scroll were the sect's biggest secret and only the Sect Chief was allowed to know about it. Do you understand it?"
"Ba. good Chairman.. I understand it."
After escaping his shock Elder Ma Hua replied in a slightly quivering voice, between being moved by the trust placed in him and also worrying about the safety of the Chief Sector.
Seeing this, Guo Jin smiled faintly as he patted Elder Ma Hua on the shoulder and handed over the Jade Badge of the Sect Leader.
A moment later Guo Jin's body shot towards the Lightning Mist Bridge.
As Guo Jin's foot rested on the floor of the bridge, there was a thunderous explosion.
A sizable bolt of lightning struck Guo Jin, making his body bounce and drift backwards. And it only stopped after hitting the body of Elder Ma Hua and some other elders until it collapsed.
Although he was aware of the possibility of being struck by lightning, Guo Jin was surprised. The inner power shield that was created, was unable to protect his body from the full lightning strike.
And this made him suffer internal injuries that were not light. Fresh blood also seemed to wet the corners of his lips with a body that felt numb.
"Chairman.."
The other three Elders who were still standing, were shocked to see the incident, simultaneously darting off to help Guo Jin stand up.
"Thank you, Elders.."
After standing Guo Jin wiped the blood on the corner of his lips, then took out a bottle from the pocket of the robe. He took a few pills and swallowed them. After a while, slowly the numbness all over his body disappeared.
"Chairman... How's your condition?. What the hell is going on?"
After returning to his feet and stabilizing his condition, Elder Ma Hua could no longer contain his curiosity with the situation before them.
Guo Jin only smiled wryly, but when he was about to answer Elder Ma Hua's question, something beyond human reason happened before them.
The black cloud that had now been directly above the lightning foggy bridge, gave off a huge aura that was extremely intimidating to him.
The atmosphere became very quiet even as the wind blew was no longer felt by Guo Jin.
Guo Jin frowned as he turned around and observed the situation around him, only to realize that Elder Ma Hua and the others were silent at his sculpting. The clouds stopped moving, as if time had stopped.
While digesting the situation that was before him, Guo Jin was again startled by a small explosive sound coming from behind him. After turning around, Guo Jin was stunned by what he saw. He made his eyes widen with his mouth half open.
Above the cloud appeared a very bright light blinding the eyes. After a while, the light slowly dimmed and revealed the figure of an old man in white robes with his long beard until it reached his chest.
Although he did not recognize the figure, Guo Jin believed that the figure before him was not an ordinary human, it could even be a God. Because of this thought, his body also became violently trembling.
"Jin'er ... Do not be afraid of all the phenomena that are before you at this time, nor come to meet you. The purpose of my arrival was to convey something important related to the Secret Sect of the Valley of Gods and also the peace of this world. Calm yourself and remember carefully what I'm about to say."
"Am..Forgive me, O God, servant, I have not fully understood all this."
Guo Jin replied with a stammer and a trembling voice.

The white-robed sepulchre finally introduced himself as Zhu Long, the founder of the God Valley Sect. His arrival explained that the golden glowing hole was named the Natural Cultiva Door. This door connected the human realm with an otherworldly realm namely the Dragon Cultivation Realm.
The Dragon Cultivation Realm was a small realm created by the Dragon God himself. The purpose of this nature was to train people who would later become high-level warriors. And after undergoing the training period, the elected Swordsman will assume responsibility in the Three Worlds.
With the appearance of the Cultivation Realm Door in this world, it was a sign that the Dragon God would choose again a warrior from the human realm.
After he was chosen 500 years ago, the Dragon God had never again chosen a warrior from the human realm. Zhu Long explained also that this chosen warrior would replace him who had failed and died in the otherworldly realm.
Because of that failure, the Dragon God punished Zhu Long. As Zhu Long's spirit flew into the Dragon God realm of immortality came pleading with the Supreme Being.
The Dragon God begged that Zhu Long's spirit move be temporarily delayed, his goal to serve the punishment from him. The punishment was to find and train a swordsman to replace Zhu Long's duties.
A moment before the appearance of the Natural Door Cultiva, Zhu Long had been told by the Dragon God that a surrogate figure of hers had been born a few years ago and this figure seemed to be in close contact with the God Valley Sect established by her five hundred years ago.
Zhu Long also explained that the human chosen to train in the Dragon Cultivation Realm was someone who could pass through the Lightning Mist Bridge without being struck by his Lightning.
For this reason Zhu Long ordered Guo Jin to bring five to seven year old children to the edge of the Valley of Gods.
The child must be a descendant of the Divine Valley Sect disciples. It was intended to do a kind of test to the child, namely by passing the Lightning Fog Bridge.
If a child can pass through the Lightning Mist Bridge without being struck by the Lightning, then that child can enter the Dragon Cultivation Realm.
