097: Coronation of the New Emperor
The day of Crown Prince Wu Jian's Coronation to become Emperor finally arrived. The coronation, held before the people, was held in the Imperial Palace Square.
The square of the Imperial Palace was a place of twenty thousand square meters. The square which has a width of one hundred meters and a length of two hundred meters is the place where various official state events are held.
A Podium fifty meters long and twenty meters wide, stretched out on the west side of the Square. The podium, on the highest steps, is the now empty imperial throne.
On the right side of the throne, it appeared that Wu Jian was already wearing the Imperial Cloak, His handsome face now looked much more handsome and dignified. Behind him stood a soldier who became his bodyguard.
While to the left of the Throne sat Princess Wu Mei accompanied by a lady-in-waiting behind her. The beauty of the Princess makes many visitors, especially men, amazed.
On the second highest step was the seat of the ministers and generals, seen Lin Yung and Yu Ma sitting close together. While in the last step, sat the military officers who on average have the ability of the Swordsman several titles have the ability of the King Swordsman.
On the South side of the Square has sat thousands of people who participated in the coronation of the Emperor. The East and the North.
Few know that the North side is devoted as a place for the thousands of guards and merchants who rent it.
While in the middle of the Square were Imperial Soldiers who numbered five thousand people. They were the Empire's elite troops who had the ability of an average first-rate Swordsman.
All the people present at this coronation were unaware of the unusual change in order. Where the nobles are not seen on the podium.
Only three people realized that this arrangement was a defense formation that was difficult to break through if anyone wanted to mess up. The three of them were on the North side which showed that they were merchants and their guards who came from outside the territory of the Wu Empire.
"It looks like they've been anticipating Uncle's attack."
One of the youngest men was seen speaking to the two Grandpa people who were on his right and left.They were the three people that Xie Jia saw while in the inn in the border town some the day before.

Unbeknownst to him, the three of them were being watched by two pairs of eyes belonging to a pair of Grandpa and Grandma who were twenty meters behind them.
Finally the coronation of the Emperor began, the sound of dozens of drums, made everyone speechless and a few moments later, an old man stood up and walked in the center of the podium after the drums stopped ringing.
The old man was none other than the Minister who took care of the construction of the Wu empire, the ability to speak and the oldest person made him a host at once who put the Imperial Crown at the time of the coronation later.
The minister conveyed a few opening words and then began to perform the usual rituals before placing the Emperor's Crown on the Crown Prince's Head.
The ritual lasts no more than thirty minutes. Crown Prince Wu Jian immediately stood up to be followed by all the people and people who witnessed it.
Those on the podium immediately turned to face towards the throne. In front of the throne, Crown Prince Wu Jian appeared to kneel, before the host.
A moment later a servant brought a tray on which lay a crown made of gold. Next to the Crown, there was a badge the size of a palm that read Emperor Wu.
Crown Prince Wu Jian immediately lowered his head as the old man of the show took the Emperor Crown. He placed with his heart the Crown Emperor on the head of Wu Jian who had now officially become Emperor.
Then the Old Man took the Emperor badge and handed it to the new Emperor who received it with both hands.
Emperor Wu Jian immediately stood up and faced the square while brandishing the badge in his right hand. All those standing now kneeled to the New Emperor.
The fireworks were lit as a sign that the coronation procession had been completed which would then be continued with the Empire's speech for the first time. All the people present sat back, but not with those on the North side and some on the East side of the square.
They pulled out the long knife they had hidden under their robes. Thousands of people moved to attack the soldiers who were kneeling in the middle of the square.
An uproar ensued, as thousands of warriors who became bodyguards began to fight with the soldiers, killing them.
While dozens of people appeared to be moving towards the podium, they were about to attack those who were there. But the atmosphere suddenly became silent as Two Auras gripped filled the air.
The young warrior behind the Crown Prince who was none other than Yao Chan, immediately shot into the air. Simultaneously the servant behind the Princess immediately jumped into the air and took out a Whip from void space. Both of them floated in the air and emitted an enormous aura of power.
Dozens of people who moved towards the podium stopped with astonished faces looking at the two young figures, hovering and preparing to attack towards them.
While the three people who were talking were surprised to see this. The two grandfathers gulped their saliva when they found two young people floating with an aura of strength that was not much different from them.
