TIKZ [Moving To The Golden Age]

TIKZ [Moving To The Golden Age]
106 - A STRONG WIND

"My granddaughter why are you so lazy?" ask grandma Uwe, the grandmother whose home was once the place where Idaline stayed while cleaning the tray of her family's former meal with her grandson.

"Sir, something's bothering me."

The feeling of Indro, the granddaughter of Uwe's grandmother, was not good even though the day was bright and the group had set out to trade outside the village.

Not to those who left, instead he felt heavy leaving the village. Finally this time he ditched not trading.

Even though he was scorned and insulted, Indro felt he had to stay in the village of Telogo.

"Adolescence is full of emotions" said Uwe's grandmother. "Let's help Miss Nawang who just born." Grandma Uwe invited her grandson who had finished cleaning the kitchen.

"But grandma I'm a man, how can it help?" Indro really does not understand about pregnant women or women.

While in the modern world he was an orphan living with his grandfather, she very rarely interacts with women because she does not go to school and only helps with homework or doing men's manual labor.

"It's precisely because your man has to help them. Her husband should focus on taking care of his wife. You look for wood and a quarry for them. Your cooking doesn't lose either."

"I'll cook here." Indro feels awkward when it comes to being with women.

These men had mostly gone to trade and some were busy in the manufacturing of household appliances to be sold outside the village.

In the house of Nawang everything contains women.

"can't. Must cook there to be guided by a child shaman or his subordinates." Grandma shook her head.

"Grandmothers will know the ingredients that can and do not," persuaded Indro.

"Cu, cu, grandma is old. Let's go."

Indro took a long breath. No one could persuade his grandmother, so Indro agreed to go to the Nawang residence.

"I wash my face first." Indro washed his face quickly and ran towards Uwe who had already walked out.

Indro looked around and as expected almost all of them were women, but there were also some men who came to bring the hunt.

Indro is very grateful for staying cooking because vegetables have been brought by women.

These vegetables are very complete with spices.

"I'm sorry grandma just came by now."

"The weather is like this, Grandma. Let's go in the nek," said Jaka prepared to bury ari-ari. The sky was cloudy and the wind was blowing hard to make Jaka hope that it would not rain before he finished his ritual.

Indro and his grandmother could not even go out to help Nawang give birth due to the very strong wind.

Indro extended his hand to Jaka who was carrying a hoe. "Aid you,"

"No. I'll bury ari-ari. Everyone please help do'a," Jaka said to the audience who came.

Jaka buried ari-ari and his offerings gave yellow rice to the people present.

After making sure everything got a share Jaka entered his house in a hurry.

Indro who was enjoying the yellow rice almost pulled out the contents inside his mouth due to the hard punch on his back, grandma glared at Indro and pointed at the sack on the floor using her eyes.

With a heavy heart Indro put the yellow rice porters portion to the place he occupied and brought in the sack. Inside the house he even heard spoiled tones.

"Darling, are you really leaving?" tanya Jaka implied a tone of objection.

Jaka is worried about Nawang's condition when he uses his strength to attend an Idaline window even though a few hours ago Nawang had just given birth.

"It won't be long, baby!" Nawang said anxiously because her husband treated her like a weak man.

He is an angel!

She did not feel the pain of giving birth like a human, only a slight pain in the part of her body that was still widened.

That part will dock if he soaks in the waterfall or let it heal itself.

"But your body.."

"Quiet, baby. I'm not that weak!"

Indro who only heard Nawang's words felt very embarrassed. These two women this woman just gave birth to that time already?

But Indro did not feel too strange because in this world there are healing magic and Nawang that he knew from gossip has powerful magic.

"Don't eavesdrop!" gulp the child shaman on Indro who stands in the middle of the kitchen.

Actually Jaka and Nawang houses are fairly small and only made of wood and woven making the conversation of the two from inside the room very likely to sound.

"Bah, I brought fruit, vegetables, and venison to see the warehouse supplies run out to entertain," said Indro brought deer hunted yesterday evening before extreme weather attacked his village until the morning had just subsided.

Not usually the village weather is very scary. If only he had known, he would have hunted a few more for supplies.

"If you can please bring me the grass that I mentioned its characteristics," the child shaman's pinta.

"Excited, Mbah. I'll help you cook first." Indro saw the weather starting to warm a little and people came.

"Already many. These kids will be with you." The child shaman pointed at the three people behind him.

"All right."

Indro and the three children walked into the forest, occasionally Indro stared at his village until entering the deepest part of the forest.

Indro and others managed to collect all the grass ordered by the shaman because the land is very rich and easy to find, but there is one plant that is in the deepest part of the forest.

"We go to the cave" Indro broke up after they never found one last grass. He and the three people with him had already searched for that one last grass until the day turned night.

"Mas, let's just stay there. It's late."

"Calm down, there's a moon as a clue. This plant is needed immediately." Indro ruffled the hair of the boy who was with him. "You tired?"

"If the plants are needed, we go back to the mas."

"Boy boys should be like that." Indro gave his thumb.

But in the end they rested a few kilometers from the cave after finding the grass that was sought because some people drooped limp.

"I'm sorry to bother you" said a child who was still awake.

"You guys have worked hard. From yesterday the storm was very strong but you are still helping the needy. Really great!"

"It is an honor to help Miss Nawang give birth. Even if we just bring stuff."

"Baby shamans can't take all the stuff by themselves. You guys are great and deft to memorize precious plants."

Indro did not exaggerate in praising them because yesterday he himself just lay warmly in his blanket, while these children help someone who is risking their lives.

"Thank you, ma'am." The boy wanted to stay awake but fell asleep.

The Indro stayed up all night watching the approaching animals. A breath of relief was exhaled when dawn had broken.

"Huh. We're misfortune!" exclaimed the child who forced to wake up, his brain warned him to stay awake but it turned out that the sun was already visible.

"Look easy. Mbah shaman hasn't searched means no emergency."

"Good plant formulated in the morning, mas. Come on banguun." The boy woke up his two friends.

Indro turned off the fireplace and handed out each child's bag and they walked back.

"The wind is so strong."

Indro tried to hold back the wind with his hands. He alone felt almost flying because of this strong wind. "You guys hold on to me!"

"Look! Houses fly and then crumble in the whirlwind." One of the children pointed to his partially destroyed village.

"There. Over there. There's a big lightning bolt."

"Stay calm, kids. Ugh, how about you guys go back to the cave? I'll try to save the others. Houses can't hold the wind this hard."

"Man is not a man either! Come on together."

"You guys have an important role holding this plant. Be careful!" Indro handed over his bag and hurried away.

"We follow the words of Indro. The wind in that direction isn't strong,"

"Then we'll be losers who only think of ourselves?!"

"Then what can we do? Just bothering the adults! They are also saving themselves."

After the three children had a heated argument they finally returned to the cave and wished their mother who was in the village to survive.

"Grandma!" indro shouted after he managed to pierce through the wind that was blowing hard. He searched for his grandmother in a house that had been damaged but did not find his grandmother.

Finally Indro went outside the house and found a shadow. But when Indor approached, the shadow showed someone holding someone else.

It was definitely not her grandmother. The Indro is looking elsewhere.

"Dam. Not only the brothers, the ayundas also come all?!" gerutu Nawang held Jaka who was holding their baby.
