TIKZ [Moving To The Golden Age]

TIKZ [Moving To The Golden Age]
002 - RED PUPILS

"I'm sorry the shop didn't open today" the shopkeeper said, putting half his body on the door.

Idaline goes alone to the tavern after a smooth run because the people at the drugstore suddenly leave on the promised day. Sri, who kept watching Idaline fall ill from lack of rest and food, finally the middle-aged woman lay weakly in the room.

"I want to meet the owner of the shop" said the little girl who wore a pull and kemben plus a thin green cloth studded with embroidered flowers draped forward covering her chest and stomach.

"Geek, we who have been here for two months have never met him" said the guard.

"Never met?" wonder Idaline.

"They just keep and clean the store. The chefs don't live there and the store is open two days in ten days."

A mature brown-skinned young man who wrapped his lower body with a striped cloth and bare chest without decoration, just like the other men Idaline saw, appeared carrying a cart.

The first time he saw the healer coming in bare-chested, Idaline shouted loudly. He thinks it is inappropriate if someone is bare-chested. And Idaline was still unfamiliar with the bare-chested men, this time alone she was forced to confirm her suspicions.

"Really, right. This is one of the chefs here, his name is Mr. Hasta." The guards introduced the young man to Idaline. The guard opened the door wide and approached the chef. "Just me, sir." The guard picked up the cart and pushed it into the store.

"Then master chef, please pass this on to the shop owner." Idaline gave the shabby paper clasped tightly in her hand to Hasta.

"Ohooo, is the love letter from the little lady to the shopkeeper who has saved from the criminals?" Hasta frowned reading the paper in her hand.

"Maybe." Idaline smiled obliquely. No one knows the Latin script and the language in it except people in the future. Idaline concludes that where she now lives is in the past because she has little knowledge of it.

"(If you want a beef burger, I have to slaughter a cow. French fries are. If we pick orange juice first in the back garden)," explained Hasta using modern language.

Idaline laughed crisply at Hasta's words. The movements of the lips that the man did not realize when reading the shabby paper that Idaline had brought had convinced Idaline's heart. Hasta is the same person as him.

"Please." Hasta pointed with her thumb as she walked into the courtyard of the restaurant.

Clear water filled a bucket full of black, hands soiled by the soil dipped there and then rubbed until the dirt that slipped on the tip of the nail fell. Throwing water slowly, Hasta timba back the bucket into the well to refill the clean water.

Idaline silently watched behind him.

"Want to my room? Coincidentally there was another guest," Hasta's bargain wetted her sticky face.

"By pleasure" said Idaline.

Idaline followed Hasta up the stairs until she reached the third floor. "Feelings are only two floors," his puzzled scurried around.

From outside the store only looks to have two floors and the building looks small. But once inside, the shop room is very spacious.

Hearing the sound of moving objects, Idaline refocused her forward, Hasta pushed the wooden wall that turned out to be a door! If not carefully observed, the door will not be visible. The color and cut are very snug, camouflaged between sturdy red walls.

"You trust me so much? Though the first time to meet," said Hasta break the silence.

Idaline stared at the wide back which suddenly felt cold. He smiled to treat his doubtful heart. "What people like us need is friends and calmness. Would it be horrifying to come to a world like this alone?"

"Who did you bring, Hasta? Aren't we the only two who'll meet?" scatter someone from inside the room that just opened.

"Don't be like that, Miss Atem. Look at this helpless little lady." Hasta shifted her body and entered the room so that it looks invisible Idaline from the room.

"(Hello)" said Idaline.

"A..Dila?" The girl who was as tall as Idaline jumped at him and cupped her face.

"I'm sorry but my name is Udelia not Dila." Idaline blinked looking at the glassy Atem.

Hasta stroked Atem's shoulder and shook his head. "Please sit down, miss," Hasta told Idaline while helping Atem sit back in the chair. Then the man stepped onto his desk and poured tea there.

"I'm sorry. Shame to cry in front of the kids." Atem rubbed his eyes with a handkerchief.

"Nona Atem is actually a mother of a six-year-old daughter, her name is Miss Lili," explained Hasta giving tea to Idaline and Atem.

Idaline stopped the glass that was going to stick in her mouth. He stared fixedly at Atem who still looked very young and fresh.

"Miss Atem's body is ten years old and I'm seventeen, but I'm younger." Hasta chuckled at Idaline's shocked face. "(I'm Roni, a worker at company F. Come here maybe after the soybean works.)"

"(Are you a subsidiary of the owner of the company?)"

"(That's it. News of my death has been spread.)" Hasta's eyes dimmed, water seemed to pool in his eyes. "Ironi once heard of his own death haha." Hasta laughed awkwardly while wiping the tip of her eye with a finger.

"(Dead? You guys? You are not dead! You just fainted from exhaustion. I'm a technician whose father you hired after five days you were unconscious. Your computer is leaking. Fortunately, Sir Rino immediately handled it after returning from abroad. Btw you were unconscious at twenty-seven in May, while I was here on the fourth of August of the same year)"

"What's? I have lived here for more than six years." Hasta's hands trembled, hoping that his mind was not a mere mirage.

"really. I also woke up with Roni at the same time" Atem said.

Idaline's brain was spinning, her finger was counting fast. "Meaning we live here one month is equal to one day in the modern world" he explained.

"It seems so," said Hasta agreed. Atem agreed.

"Include me Lili, housewife. I thought I was dead because it was the day of the earthquake and my back was hit by the ceiling."

"Oh I read news of such heroic action in May. Thank goodness your daughter survived."

"Ah, thanks for telling." Atem rubbed his tears back out.

"No problem. Glad to share happy info.” The row of white teeth of Idaline seemed radiant as she smiled widely. Before long his smile slowly disappeared, his face became as red as a crab.

"I'll bring you food." Hasta chuckled at the sound of Idaline's stomach. Atem smiled at the lowered Idaline.

"I opened a boutique here. Want to wear something more comfortable? It must be uncomfortable to wear clothes of this age."

"It's true." Idaline nodded. Her clothes felt uncomfortable even though she could wear the array properly. "Speaking is as comfortable as aunty."

"You too. It'd be weird if we talked too formally."

"Okay, auntie!" The spirit of Idaline is burning. A glimmer of light appeared carrying great hope.

••••••••••••••••••••

Idaline looks to the right and to the left. After talking, it didn't feel like it was late afternoon. Surely he went home alone because he reached the store quickly. Hasta and Atem could only agree to it because an important task awaited them.

"Oh," lamented Idaline seeing all trees as big, when she set out she was sure there was only one big tree at the crossroads.

"What little sister are you doing here? It's gonna be night." A middle-aged man with a colleague was standing under a large tree.

"Ah, uncle. I forgot the road." Idaline stared at the trees that the two were trying to cover. Rather than fearing Idaline was more curious about the tree covered in both. The era of noble wisdom is still great implemented, very rarely people commit crimes.

"Where does she want to go?"

"To the drugstore. Uncle why not go home? There will be many demons." Idaline was wide-eyed when a young man was thrown into a tree until the sound of his bones sounded painful. He looked at the other tree that was not covered by the two middle-aged ones who had just greeted him.

"What are you guys doing??" Idaline did not want to be involved in this, but was so aware she was already standing in front of the child instead of running in the other direction.

"Little kid just bothers me," upset one of the people who looks the same age as Wala.

"Don't be rude to a child, Baja Sapta."

"It's gonna be a problem because he's seen our faces, Rapu Catra." Steel takes out the keris from its sheath.

"Didn't you see the color of the aura in his heart just like his?" another young man held back Baja's hand.

"Please forgive us." The two middle-aged men pulled on Idaline's arm and bent her.

"You didn't listen to me?"

"Wood!" shouted Baja and Rapu, their companion named Bayu approached towards Idaline with a great aura. The boy could die in an instant.

"Young master..?" lirih middle-aged man. His arm was injured when the baby held it and then slammed his arm away from the arm of the little boy they caught.

Idaline did not pay attention around, her vision was locked, she stared in amazement at Bayu's red pupils.

The tall man lowered his head to align himself with Idaline's body. "What do you think about this little boy being omnipotent for our kingdom?" ask Bayu smiling.

"Call wake up a little. This question will make his head hurt," Baja rebuked.

"You're questioning the royal leader's decision?" ask Idaline back while blinking makes Bayu feel anxious then scramble the girl's hair. Idaline took her hair so messy.

"Leaders can sometimes make mistakes."

Idaline hits the hand of Bayu who wants to hold her head again. "Then tell him straight!"

Bayu laughed at Idaline's words. "That's smart, that's smart," he said.

Idaline turned her gaze to a teenager who was breathing hardship but trying to stay awake.

"Look at him who can't take care of himself. How can he keep the royal family?"

Idaline's feet slowly stepped closer to the puddle of fresh blood that looked terrifying. He stared angrily at the blue-tipped youth who also bent his face in annoyance.

"If you feel capable why not race with him? Why are you guys playing crackers like this?" One by one Idaline carved the faces of the young men in her memory. He spread his arms trying to protect the helpless youth there.

The young man smiled amusedly. He did not expect that a weak-looking little girl would bravely defend him. A foolish decision in his view was involved in the feud of foreigners. But the dainty guts of the bundle entered the recesses of his heart that had never been filled.

“Tiny girl! You're the only one.” Secretly the young man coughed and spat out blood. He shook his head towards the tree where the Sapta family's son and Catra's son were staying.

The young man refocused on the scene before him. “Little girl, you're the only one so stupid yet brave, her inner” chuckles at Idaline's ferocious face.

“If one day do this again. I will punish you! At that time I must have been stronger than you!!” the promise of Idaline in his heart. If he said it, surely those unstable teenagers would kill him.

"Hey, little boy. You don't know if we're dispelling the disaster that's about to happen to this kingdom?"

"No!" Idaline stared intently at the Steel that was walking towards them. "You are of no help at all if you kill this kingdom's overlord. Do you know how long it will take to find another one? Or if he dies, who do you think he deserves? You're still gonna argue."

"What he said was true" Rapu said from his place. "While our three families support one person in common, what about other families? There will be repeated kills if we start. Besides, Her Majesty the Queen won't let us just like that."

"What are your wits reduced by hearing this child's whining?" Baja is getting angry at the mood-destroying girl. He wanted to kill him right then and there.

"HEY! Just keep calling this kid, this kid, that kid. I have a name!" Idaline frowned. He realized it was useless to explain his heart.

While Baja felt the girl was very cute when whining. He and his friends are a species that cannot stand cute creatures. The steel cleared away its anxiety.

"Have forgotten it" muttered Idaline. "If you are not satisfied. Just request an appeal. The person you chose to compete with this kid, "he suggested.

"Although I don't understand. But it's actually a good idea to fight for intelligence, then eventually our doubts and Her Majesty the Queen will be equally lost. Whoever wins." Baja approved the Idaline proposal.

But Idaline doesn't think it's a good idea if narrow-hearted people compete. They will feel shame and hate on teenagers who even according to the modern world have not been entitled to have a ID card. Idaline sighed as the men left.

"You don't have to help, brother."

Idaline stared in surprise at the teenager who stood holding the tree in distress. He believed the boy's spine had been broken from the sound of a bone being split.

But Idaline chose to be silent looking from her place, not wanting to get involved too far. If Idaline helps means Idaline has to break into the noble house and no one will know what will happen there. Probably eliminate the eye witness trail.

Mahapatih should be the strongest man after the king.

"But I say thank you."

"I'm sorry for not wanting to help but I'm not–" strongly brought you.

Idaline's words were cut off by a strong gust of wind that emerged from the landing of two adults descending from the trees helping the young man.

Idaline flicked her hands across her face and turned away. "Because someone has helped. I'll go home" he said, waving his hand and running quickly, trying to get out of their sight.

Idaline's steps swallowed hearing the sound of the river flow. He sat by the river not knowing how far it was from the drugstore.

Idaline folded her legs to her stomach and put her chin on her knees. "Well, how many days?" Although he knew the difference in time 1 day versus 1 month, still he had days gone from the modern world.

Missing his mother, his father, his two younger siblings..

Also all the cousins and relatives who have given meaning to warm family in his life are increasingly peaking.

The girl's cry broke out along with the semeriwing of the darkening afternoon wind.
