Episode 35: Sad

Ara opened her eyes slowly. His body is so limp. Ara circulated her gaze throughout the room she was treated in but found no one there.

Marga who had come out to buy food was surprised when she saw her daughter who was conscious.

"Darling, you're sober? Is anyone sick?" Marga immediately walked towards Ara.

"No mom. I just feel weak. May I ask for water mom. I'm so thirsty."

"Of course." Marga helps Ara lean on the head of the mattress. Marga also helps Ara to drink water.

"What happened to me mom?"

"The waiter found you unconscious in the room. We then took you to the hospital and the doctor said that if you had too many thoughts, you're weak, baby." Marga rubbed Ara's shoulder. She knew her daughter would be sad to hear what she said.

"Is my son in danger because I'm mom?" Ara rubbed her stomach. Very afraid if the content can not be saved.

"No dear. It's not because of you. It's only natural that you have a lot of thoughts when your future husband hasn't come back yet, while your marriage is one week away."

Marga took the food he had bought.

"Now let's eat. You must be hungry." Marga feeds her daughter with affection.

"Lord. Please make my daughter happy." Marga said inwardly. The demand is just that.

The third day after Ara was taken to the hospital, the doctor allowed Ara to go home. And it doesn't feel like the wedding day is four days away and Xavier isn't back yet.

Ara had already asked there were both Xavier's parents. Whether Xavier contacted them or not, but their answer was the same. Xavier didn't contact them either.

"Do you think our marriage should still be done or canceled?" Ara looked at Paola asking her opinion.

"Xavier totally outrageous Ara. Does he have no heart? You were even rushed to the hospital but he still has no news at all. I think you should cancel the wedding." Paola ate the snack in front of him in annoyance.

"You're right Paola. But I also couldn't possibly cancel it if only I agreed. What if Xavier comes home? What would I tell her if I had canceled our wedding." Ara squeezed the end of the shirt she was wearing. He also doesn't know what to do.

"You don't have to think of such a jerk. He doesn't even think about you. You are carrying her child." Paola was fanning her face trying to stay calm. Why is this friend very resistant to the man's behavior.

"I'll keep going. But if Xavier still doesn't come. I'm really going to get out of her life. And you have to help me." Ara clasped Paola's hand.

"Well, if that's your decision. I can't do anything. And as your best friend I will always support what you want." Paola hugs Ara trying to keep Ara firm. He felt very sorry for his friend, but he did not want to impose his will on Ara.

Ara returned Paola's embrace. The clan who saw that from afar was suddenly sad. Marga knows how her daughter feels. He turned out to be wrong when he wanted a son-in-law like Xavier. Xavier is not a good man for his daughter. The young man even left his daughter when she was pregnant with him.

"If you give up then leave it, baby. He's not the best man for you. You'd be happy without him." After saying that Marga immediately left from there. Don't want to look sad..
