Episode 42: No quiet days

"You can't be serious, can you?" tanya Ara looked at the handsome yet slightly crazy man in front of her.

"Why do you think I'm not serious?" instead of answering, the young man asked him back.

"You're so busy, why are you staying here?" Ara was astonished, because she knew her brother had no time to stay at his parents' house. And now he wants to stay in his apartment.

"I'm here to work" replied Kevin, who is his only brother.

Ara narrowed her eyes at Kevin's indifferent-impressed reply.

"You work in my apartment?" tanya Ara was still confused.

"Yes, I'll be your bodyguard, so you won't be bullied by crazy men out there." exclaimed Kevin but didn't see Ara's changed face.

"It can't be like that! I haven't even agreed with that, now go home, or go to mommy and daddy's house. Not in my apartment."

"I don't want to."

Kevin stood up from his seat.

"Now let me see where my room is." Kevin didn't even look at Ara, he walked towards the guest room, opened the door and locked it from the inside."

Ara who saw that also grew annoyed. Why in the day there is no information, after his two friends who always bother him disappeared, now his brother who followed bother him.

Ara finally chose to go to sleep because her body was tired. Her brother had locked the door so she would not be able to enter to drive away her brother

Ara was awakened by her phone that did not stop ringing. Very disturbing for his beautiful dreams. Ara thought it was an alarm, so she let it go, because it would usually turn itself off. But it turns out his phone doesn't stop ringing, beyond his usual alarm.

Ara groaned in annoyance, then picked up her phone that was placed on the nightstand next to the mattress.

Ara's eyes were still too heavy to open, but she kept trying to open her eyes to look at the phone screen, and it turned out that it was a ringing phone instead of an alarm. Call from Nina.

Ara received a call lazily. Why does Nina always bother him. He's still sleepy.

"Hello" answered Ara

"Good God, why did you answer that for so long, Ara" said Nina

"Of course, you called me in the morning, Nina" replied Ara, unsettled, unable to bear the drowsiness that was still ambushing her.

"Ara, did you just wake up? It's ten o'clock in the morning, it's not blind anymore." exclaimed Nina.

Ara furrowed her brows, then said, "just get to the point, what is Nina?"

"Since yesterday, a lot of company offers have come for you" Nina explained

"I know about it, reject it all, thank you. I want to go back to sleep, "Ara replied, but Nima spoke straight away.

"Wait, I'm not done talking for goodness sake." Nina is too upset.

"Then to the point, I'd like to continue sleeping." Ara while yawning.

"As usual I sorted through the mail this morning, and lots of offer letters for you were sent to the office because maybe a lot of people thought you'd accept their offer. But there was one strange letter in my opinion," Nina said.

"This letter in red has no name and sender address, only written to Clarissa Clara Barton" said Nina

"Maybe it's just a prankster, let it go." replied Ara casually, impressed unconcerned.

"But what's in the envelope of this letter is a note, saying that if you don't return what you took you will know the consequences" Nina exclaimed in a worried tone.

Ara raised her eyebrows, Nina's words made Ara's eyes instantly refreshed. No longer sleepy.

"He threatened? And wait. Restore hers? What did I take from him?" ask Ara

"Yes, so you better come to the office today, to see what it is, because I'm a little worried, no one has ever sent a letter like that, even if you don't know what she means." exclaimed Nina.

"Have you told Max?" ask Ara

"Not yet, he said there was a meeting with another company today."

"Good-good. No need to tell him, I want to see the letter myself. Because the letter made me a little curious."

"So you're coming to the office today?" ask Nina

"Yes, I'll get ready first." Ara could hear Nina's relief before saying. "Okay, see you."

After that Ara forced herself to get up from the mattress limply, then immediately to the bathroom and shower quickly. After finishing the bath, he chose to wear casual clothes, namely white shirts, denim jackets, jeans and white sneakers because today is Sunday.

He looked at himself in the mirror for the last time, before exiting the room. She looks perfect.

Just when he opened the door Kevin was already at his door, like he wanted to knock on Ara's room door.

They both blinked, shocked by the precise timing. Why is her brother still here. And wait, her brother was still wearing clothes last night. Very slovenly.

Kevin was still wearing clothes last night, only now the man was wearing a suit also outside his black shirt. What does it mean Kevin just got home? But from where? kevin locked the door last night.

Kevin also noticed Ara's clothes

"Are you going somewhere?" ask Kevin directly to his beloved sister.

Actually Ara also wanted to ask Kevin if this brother just came home. But Ara's ego is so high, she doesn't want to look concerned. Let her brother just come home or not, it's none of her business.

"Yes, and why are you at my door? You're interrupting my sunny day." asked Ara.

"I just wanted to ask you what your show is today" replied Ara.

"Where I'm going is none of your business my handsome brother, and I'm not a child anymore" exclaimed Ara.

"Of course it's my pretty sister's business. I told you I'd be your bodyguard for the three I'd stay here." replied Kevin.

Ara sighed, she forgot that this brother had said so, then no matter what happened, her brother would not change what he said. So that her brother would follow her wherever she went.

"I just went to the company office for a while."

"All right, come on." Kevin replied directly.

"I'm just going to the office, you don't have to come. And look, you're still even wearing clothes last night." exclaimed Ara

Actually, Ara was worried because he believed Kevin had just come home, Kevin must not have slept. But Ara did not say it.

Let it be if her brother is tired, which is definitely not her who told Kevin to take care of her.
