Episode 36: Wedding Day

It did not feel like the wedding day had arrived. Early in the morning Ara had been disturbed by the many people in her room where they were the bridal makeup artist who was sent by her mommy.

Ara was dressed very beautifully. The makeup looks very compatible with her face. Her hair was also neatly arranged.

"It's done. You look so pretty, miss. Mr. Xavier will definitely not be able to turn away from your beauty." said a makeup artist looking at Ara's face from the mirror.

"Yes, I hope so too." Ara hoped that before the show started Xavier would be back.

"Please don't embarrass me Xavier" Ara said in her heart.

"Now she can wear her wedding dress."

They helped Ara wear her wedding dress. The dress was white with many beads on the fabric. The dress was also designed specifically for Ara so that her distended stomach was not visible.

Now Ara is ready. He looked at himself in the mirror. Today should be the happiest day of his life. But it turned out that the face that was self-contained could not display the slightest smile.

The makeup artists have resigned themselves. Now Ara was alone in the room. Ara picks up her phone, tries to contact Xavier but it goes unanswered. Ara even contacted Aril but the results remained the same.

"If you don't come I'll hate you so much Xavier." murmured Ara.

Flashback one day before the wedding..

In a desolate building Xavier and his men had prepared to attack the young man's hiding place which was none other than Elias. Yeah, he's not dead. Whether God is very kind to her or God wants to make her suffer, no one knows.

"Master, all our men are in position." Aril reported to Xavier who looked focused but it was just a mask. Aril knew that his master must be very worried about Ara. Tomorrow is his master's wedding day. His master said if this mission succeeds he will soon return home to marry the woman he loves so much.

"Good, I'll command them all." Xavier held the gun in his hand tightly.

"Ara you have to wait for me to come home honey." muttered Xavier unheard by anyone.

One...Two....Three... Attack !!!

DORR DORR!!

The sound of a continuous eruption of bullets made the guards assigned to guard the building immediately take a standby position and return fire given by Xavier's men.

"Master, the guards outside have been dealt with. We can get in."

"Good, come!!" Xavier and his other men entered the building.

When about to turn towards the left aisle suddenly came 5 people by shooting Xavier with his men. Xavier immediately went into hiding and returned fire.

The five men were successfully eliminated. Xavier ran towards the room that was his destination. Xavier kicked the door in front of him hard and pointed his gun at a young man who looked very relaxed sitting behind him.

"Surely there were uninvited guests." Elias turned his body to face Xavier.

Xavier's lips feature a smirk.

"I thought you were going to hell by then. But apparently God doesn't want you to go to hell yet. And now, I'll send you there myself." Xavier was about to pull the trigger but Elias's voice stopped him.

"Do you think you'll let me kill me this easily. Don't you wonder how you got into this room so easily, even though you took the lives of some of my men." Elias smiled mockingly.

"What are you planning?" Xavier held the gun in his hand tightly. Ready to hear what Elias says next.

"I'm not gonna tell you. But you'll know in a minute. I want to take my revenge on you. You made my face like this." Elias took off the mask that covered half of his face.

"Did you see it? Maybe with this face no one will recognize me anymore." Elias laughed loudly.

"For that you have to pay very expensively. You're gonna lose everything. Even the child and your future wife are waiting for you."

"Never dare you touch my woman or you will know the consequences. Ara has nothing to do with this." Press Xavier on each sentence.

"If you kill me, you'll have to join in.." But not yet had time to finish his words Xavier had shot right in the chest Elias.

Elias' body collapsed. Xavier shot right in the heart. Elias had died.

"The mission is done. Everyone is expected to leave this room immediately." Xavier gave orders to all his men.

Aril came with quite a cause for concern. There were a lot of blood stains on his shirt.

"You're not papa?" tanya Xavier looked towards Aril.

"I'm not papa. We need to get home soon. Tomorrow is your wedding."

Xavier heard it smile. Both of them want to get in the car. But a bullet fired by a sniper went towards Xavier.

Xavier's down. The younger brother who saw his master suddenly fell down immediately saw the state of his master. Some of Xavier's men immediately protected his master. They pointed their guns at the sniper.

"Master!!! mister... Can you hear me?? The master!! Master!!!" Aril pats Xavier's cheek.

The bullet lodged in Xavier's head. The blood has flowed. Xavier also lost his consciousness.

"Quick take it to the hospital!!!!" Aril and Xavier's men took Xavier to the hospital to be treated immediately.

"Sir, you must endure. I don't know how to tell this to the lady later."

"Sir, we have to do an operation immediately. Please sign a procedure immediately."

Aril nodded and immediately did as the doctor said.

Ara squeezing the wedding dress. Xavier is not back yet. What to tell the guests. His family would definitely bear the shame of Xavier's family as well.

Suddenly the door of the room opened. Ara smiled as if Xavier had returned. Ara immediately ran towards the door but her smile instantly faded. It was not Xavier but a servant.

"Has the show started?" asked Ara to the maid.

"Already miss. And the main event will start soon." The waiter smiled evilly. He was seen taking something from inside his servant's shirt.

Ara rounded her eyes. The servant took the gun and pointed it at Ara.

"What are you doing? You didn't intend to shoot me, did you?" Ara walked backwards. He was so scared. Ara holding her stomach protecting her child.

"Didn't you recognize me? Oh, looks like you wouldn't know me like this." The servant opened the mask that covered his face. Ara was again shocked, the waiter turned out to be the woman who always looked for trouble with him in Xavier's company.

"Xavier turned out to make me have to languish in prison by slandering me. He intentionally got me into trouble. But I met someone who wanted to guarantee me a lot of money. And I will avenge you. You must die for Xavier to be mine."

"NO!! YOU WOULDN'T DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT. Please don't do that. If you let me go, I'll give you a lot of money. I'll give you everything you ask." Ara crying. Ara was so afraid that this crazy woman in front of her actually shot her.

"Haha. You think I'll be tempted by that money. I just want Xavier to be mine. And I'll let you go if you're going to let Xavier go for me, too."

Ara raised her face. There was clearly anger there.

"No! You can never take Xavier away from me. Xavier's just mine." Ara smiled cunningly. He won't let go of Xavier that easily.

"You'll take the consequences."

DORR!!

The woman shot right in Ara's stomach. Ara held her stomach.

"No no no no. Why did you shoot my son?" In a moment the wedding dress was covered with blood.

Ara fell down. He held his stomach. Ara's vision had blurred. His head was already pounding.

Ara was unable to. Ara was lying on the cold floor in a fetching dress that had been soaked with blood. Before her consciousness ran out, Ara muttered softly.

"I hate you so much Xavier. Hates you so much."
