Kayla blinked her eyes, being disturbed by the stinging sunlight. But he felt like something was happening to him, and he was shocked to see Kenzie lying limp on his stomach.
"Kenzie?" mumbling slowly.
Kayla tries to wake Kenzie up but it seems that the man shows no sign of opening his eyes. "Wake ken!" kayla said as she tried to move Kenzie's head over her stomach. He felt in the weight so heavy, while his body was so small.
"Awww.." screamed Kayla when the infusion attached to her hand came off while trying to move Kenzie. Kayla squealed in pain, her hands spitting out blood that terrified her.
"Sa-sick, Ken's up!!" kayla exclaimed while shaking Kenzie's body.
Looking at her hand that was still bleeding, Kayla grabbed a blanket to cover the wound and stopped the blood. The girl was still trying to wake Kenzie up, but the man was still lying limp in her lap.
"Ken.." call Kayla again, wiping the sweat on Kenzie's forehead. He could feel the man's body temperature rise.
His friend was apparently feverish, and he could not wake him or remove the man's body from his lap. Kayla dyed, she didn't know who to call.
"Somebody out there?!" kayla shouted loudly.
"Is a house this big uninhabited?" he murmured while grimacing to see the condition of his hand. This morning he felt better, but instead he found his best friend lying weakly on his lap. What the hell's going on?
Kayla again laid her body, no one seemed to hear her screams. He looked at the ceiling of the room thinking, what should he do. Instantly he gasped, he remembered one name he knew here.
"Sister Al!! Brother Alan?!" kayla shouted loudly, hoping that the man heard her screams.
"Huh. Is this room soundproof?" gerutu Kayla slowly.
"Ken, wake up dong. What the hell are you?" he shook Kenzie's body.
BRACKET!
Kayla jumped in shock, when the door to the room she was in broke down violently. "Geez, what are you doing?" kayla asked excitedly, when she saw the large-bodied man in black uniform, complete with his weapon lined up neatly before her. Also the maids who kept their heads down.
"You deaf?! Everything here is useless, ****! Go all of you, and never come again if you still love life!"
Kayla gasped at the terrible scream from someone she called her brother, Alan. Then came a middle-aged man approaching him, and treating the wound on his hand.
A woman known to the maid came forward and bowed with a trembling body. "Sir-forgive us our negligence..."
"Go! Not once or twice you make a mistake. But many times!"
Alan waved his hand in the air, and the large man in the room chased out the maids who kept apologizing.
"Sir Alan, does it have to be like that?" kayla's great-grandson was slow, her voice barely audible. This was terrifying, his innocent soul was witnessing something that he thought was unusual.
"They deserve it miss." replied Alan flatly.
"But pity that they get fired, brother. How will their families be?"
"Is the lady feeling better?"
Kayla frowned, this handsome yet flat and cold man before her diverted her conversation. "Yes already" he replied later, it was possible that the man he called the older brother did not want to discuss it anymore.
"Ken why?" kayla asked the doctor who examined her best friend.
The doctor sighed softly, "It's okay, master is just exhausted." Kayla nodded in understanding, then stood up. He never thought, yesterday his best friend was okay.
"Where's the hell is the hell you going?" ask Alan quickly.
"The bathroom."
Alan nodded his head, then looked at the doctor. Seeing that Kayla had left, Alan began to ask. "How is he doing?"
"There's nothing to worry about, but it's best to cut down on alcohol."
"All right, now you can go."
"Miss Kayla is better now, the effect of the food is gone. But he still had to take his medicine." said the doctor before leaving, and Alan nodded his head.
After the doctor's departure, Alan looked at Kenzie worriedly. I told you not to overdo it when you drink alcohol. But what can be done, the stubborn nature of the man is very domineering.
The door opened, leaving him stunned from his daydream. Kayla walked in, but the look on the girl's face left Alan frowning in wonder. "What's wrong, miss?" alan looked at Kayla.
Kayla linked her two fingers, and moved restlessly, "Sister, I-I'm hungry."
Kayla stepped onto the balcony of the room and opened the door slowly. A fresh wind immediately hit his face, as well as the sunlight that pierced his vision. It was already noon, he deserved to feel very hungry. Actually he was not ashamed to say it, but only he felt hesitant to ask without the presence of his best friend. Although it's Kenzie's own house.
The sun shines so bright, making the atmosphere in his friend's house feel very comfortable. The birds chirp, fragrant as well as from the expanse of the flower garden down there to the sense of smell. Kayla circulated her gaze, this cannot be called home. The place he was walking in was more like the building at his school. A castle, with a vast expanse of gardens overgrown by a wide variety of flowers. Kayla was still looking around, it turned out that she only realized that this mansion, far from the hustle and bustle of the crowd.
Is there a tower here? Thought in the heart.
Although it was not the first time Kayla had come to Kenzie's house, only this time she had observed the place. Kayla holds the balcony divider, while looking ahead with her sweet smile. A beautiful and soothing place. Distant and away from the crowd.
Kayla gasped as someone's big hand coiled around her stomach. He looked up, "Ken?"
"Hm."
"Are you feeling better?"
"Hm."
"Take off first." said Kayla while trying to let go of Kenzie's hand that coiled so tightly. He felt crowded, especially why the attitude of his best friend became strange?
"Ken, I can't breathe!"
Kenzie loosened his embrace, but his hand did not come off the slightest which made Kayla become uncomfortable. "Ken, what the hell are you doing? I was hungry."
"Then?"
"Yes I want to eat."
"Later on."
"Ken..."
Kenzie ignored Kayla's chatter, and he even moved back into his arms, closing his lips to Kayla's ears. "Kay, I saw blood on the blanket. Are you all right?" slowly oozed.
"I'm fine, it's just that the infusion came off which made my hand bleed." Kayla explained, but her hand still tried to release Kenzie's hand on her stomach which actually tightened.
"Kay, can you shut up?" kenzie whispered, sounding flat. Why did this girl seem to reject his presence?
Kayla was stunned, and instantly stopped thrashing. That tone, he had also heard when he left for school at that time. Whatisthis?
The knock on the door sounded, making Kayla sigh in relief. He glanced at Kenzie, the man closing his eyes. "Someone is knocking on the door."
"Leave it."
"I think it's my parents."
Hearing that made Kenzie open his eyes, and let go of his embrace. Kayla smiled happily, and walked over to open the door. A maid, complete with a tray of food, stood before her with a smile. Kayla let her in, and the waiter put her on the table and passed her out.
"You lied."
"I'm hungry Ken, after all it's noon" Kayla said starting to eat breakfast and lunch.
Kenzie sat down next to Kayla, and observed the girl's sweet face while eating. "Boat me."
"Huh?"
"I'm hungry too."
"I'll get it." Kayla said to her feet.
"No Kayla, one plate together. I'm still sick anyway, so I have to be fed" she said with a wide grin.
Kayla sat down again, and fed her best friend lazily.
"Nonsense?"
"Ikhlas Ken, otherwise I would have spent it alone" Kayla said as she continued to feed Kenzie.
Kenzie smiled happily, he continued to accept feed after mouthful from Kayla.
"Why are you suddenly sick?"
