Toxic Friendzone
Refusal

Plaque!

Kayla smiled bitterly, as she again received a slap from the man. Why, is the word wrong? They were just friends and for more than that he thought he could never be.

The slap that Kenzie had laid was indeed so painful, but his heart hurt even more. His eyes were teary and his body was trembling due to this unexpected event. But, amidst his disappointment, he mustered up the courage to give an unexpected response.

"In one act, you have destroyed our friendship, Kenzie," Kayla said in a weak but fiery voice. "I never thought you could be so cruel. Does that make you feel better?"

Kenzie was stunned, flabbergasted by Kayla's words. He looked at Kayla with a mixture of regret and anger. "You don't know anything about my feelings! I tried to give you everything, but it was all in vain because you chose to reject me in this way!"

Kayla rubbed the hot cheek from the slap earlier. He tries to control his emotions, realizing that anger will not make things better. "I'm sorry, Kenzie. But, in what way do you expect me to accept your feelings harshly like this? We've always been kind to each other and supportive of each other, what's going on with that?"

Kenzie struggled to find the right words, something that could explain what was in his heart. "I'm scared. I'm afraid of losing you, Kayla. I don't want to see you belong to anyone else, I want to be the one who's always by your side."

Kayla was silent for a moment, letting Kenzie's words enter her heart. Suddenly, he was filled with relief. "Kenzie, I never realized how you felt. I wouldn't blame you for that. But, you have to learn that not everyone will feel the same way you do."

Kenzie looked at Kayla with hope. "So, did you give me a chance to change your opinion?"

Kayla smiled, trying to recover the atmosphere between them. "I can't make promises, Kenzie. Believe it or not, there is someone who comes into my life in his own way. I refused, but that doesn't mean my heart is closed to others. We never know what could happen in the future."

"Kenzie, we're destined to be together as friends. Everything we've been through together shouldn't just be ruined because of love. We can get through it and become stronger than ever" Kayla said sincerely.

Kenzie tries to control his emotions, feeling relieved that he still has a kind friend like Kayla. He nodded slowly. "I promise, I'll fix my mistakes. We'll be friends like we used to be, and I'll always be by your side for no other reason than genuine friendship."

Kayla smiled profusely, feeling their relationship would get better after this incident. They hold hands, a sign of togetherness and determination to improve their friendship. Over time, they both learn to cope with the pain and work on their steps to take care of each other.

In her heart, Kayla hopes Kenzie will find the person she deserves, as she found out in her life. And in line with that, also for himself. They both know that even though love can be hurtful, genuine friendship will never go away.

Kayla hugs Kenzie sincerely, she hopes that after this incident there will be no more misunderstandings and her friendship will go on as usual. At least that's what Kayla wanted, but it was different from the heart of someone she was hugging. Kenzie smiled smirk, his girl was completely innocent and innocent and he loved her even more.

"You think it's that easy, baby? I'll never let you go, even if the sky asks for it." Her mind screamed as she hugged Kayla tightly, this time he will give in so that Kayla does not feel afraid or reluctant with him and after this incident it is certain that his little girl will behave as usual with him. Full of cheerfulness and his potent attitude that makes his own color in his life.

"Kenzie, you're not that smart to fool me." she said and of course inside. Kayla smiled smirk and let go of her embrace.

"Didn't you know it hurt?" kayla's whiskers were spoiled which made Kenzie chuckle and scramble the girl's hair.

"I'll treat it." replied Kenzie and lightly kissed the bruise on Kayla's cheek. The girl clenched her hands tightly, indeed she was uncomfortable with the treatment but for the sake of her plan she would accept everything.
