Wang Ma shook his head before returning to Yang Chen and asked with an attentive smile.

"It's okay, I've eaten but thank you." Yang Chen replied with a warm smile at Wang Ma's concern.

"Well, I'll go upstairs now." Yang Chen suddenly said.

Ruoxi saw Yang Chen heading upstairs feeling a little regretful before she said in a low voice.

Yang Chen heard Ruoxi turn around to look at him and smiled slightly.

When Ruoxi heard this, she smiled happily as she returned to eating glutinous rice.

Wang Ma watched the interaction they could not help but smile before he looked at Ruoxi and started laughing.

Ruoxi heard Wang Ma's laughter asking puzzledly.

Ruoxi looked at her confused pyjamas before she finally came to her senses. He then angrily flushed in embarrassment as to how Yang Chen really saw what he was wearing.

Ruoxi then got up from the sofa and tried to act calmly.

"Wang Ma, I'm going to sleep." Ruoxi said, even though she was still blushing.

Wang Ma noticed Ruoxi was trying to escape her embarrassment but not push her away.

"Good night, Young Miss."

When Yang Chen returned to his room, he would not go to sleep but he would cultivate to reach the Soul Formation Stage.

Yang Chen then sat on his bed and started circulating his True Qi around his dantian.

Yang Chen ignored everyone and walked through the gate.

The security guards did not even try to stop or approach Yang Chen for fear of provoking someone influential.

When Yang Chen entered the school building, he looked for the room number that JingJing had previously texted him.

When Yang Chen was in the hallway, he heard a quarrel coming from the corner, he was about to take.

"Mom! But why !?" Shouted a young teenager to his mother.

Tang Wan was startled by Tangtang's sudden explosion before she understood its meaning.

"TangTang you're all wrong ..."

"No! You got it all wrong! I've been trying my hardest for the three of us to be a family and now that's never going to happen!" Tangtang's eyes started to turn red.

Tang Wan did not know what to say, the only reason she never accepted Tangtang's father was that she honestly did not have romantic feelings but after hearing her daughter's anger, was she the one who was wrong?
