Trapped Enchantment Thugs Insaf
47. Not Defended

Adam slightly grinned feeling the pain that was still attacking in his chest.

“Pa, we're going to the hospital?” said Aldan worriedly.

“Not necessary.  Papa is okay.”  Adam closed his eyes for a while again with his head resting on the back of the sofa.  Then he opened his eyes for a moment after removing his palm from his chest.  “Papa disappointed with Akhmar's attitude.  He's really very outrageous.”

“But no one will be able to break the relationship between father and son.  In the blood of Achmar, the same blood flowed with papa.  And he'll never be Papa's ex-son.  Akhmar remains Papa's flesh blood.”

Adam grinned bitterly looking at his oldest shady face.  Aldan has always been his tranquilizer.  Aldan, his first son who was very much different from Akhmar.  Aldan was so kind, attentive with parents, devoutly worshiped, and diligent in teaching.  But Akhmar?  Why can two men born from one womb have different traits?

Adam was disappointed and saddened to remember that so many struggles, materials and sacrifices were spent only on Akhmar, but the results were painful when Akhmar had grown.

Adam had to cry several times for the loss of his wife after several hours of giving birth to Akhmar.  Akhmar was born prematurely in seven months less than fourteen days of pregnancy in a terrible condition.  Shortly after birth, Akhmar's legs could not be moved, and after being examined there was pus in his bones.

Akhmar's baby has a disorder that must be treated immediately by the medical.  Even Adam, who was still living in simplicity, had to bear the cost of operating for Akhmar, which was not small.  The sweat and tears Adam offered to meet the needs of Akhmar and Aldan, who was then four years old.  Miris is his life.

Not only that, a month after that, Akhmar baby bleeding in the head.  At first Akhmar had a high fever to vomiting and ended in seizures.  It costs a fantastic amount to make Akhmar can live a normal life, of course Akhmar must return to undergo surgery to remove fluid in the head.  It must have been hard for Adam to raise funds in the shortest time expected.

Adam was willing to sell all the goods he had for the life of little Akhmar, he also owed it here and there.  Luckily, Adam got a donation from a fundraiser that was opened through an internet site, not spared the help of one of the television stations until the operating costs were covered.

Akhmar the baby was able to recover from his illness after a long journey and the sacrifices that Adam made.  Adam, who was willing to sacrifice his life for the sake of the baby, was relieved to see Akhmar's growth improving.

Since childhood, the nature of Akhmar did look different from Aldan.  Little Akhmar who was easily angered when he did not get the toy he wanted, little Akhmar who often hit the wall when told to take a bath, little Akhmar who often broke objects around him when his desire was not fulfilled.  Oh God.  Akhmar's behavior since childhood has often made Adam angry, until Adam sometimes runs out of patience and vents his frustration by hitting, pinching, or picking Akhmar.

It felt like the sacrifices and the treasures he had sacrificed for Akhmar, were paid off with the divine gifts he had received at this time.  Live well with sufficient wealth.

So, is this what Adam had to accept after all the sacrifices he made?

“Pa, our place and environment are indeed the same.  But the relationships, friends, and technology we use are different.  Akhmar just needs a little attention and advice.”

“You don't have to keep defending him.  Do you love him so much?”  Adam looked at Aldan fixedly.

Aldan nodded.  “She's my sister.”

Adam rubbed Aldan's head full of pride.  “If indeed Papa rarely takes care of Akhmar, also rarely takes care of you, it is not without reason.  All Papa does is to support you.  Because Papa loves you guys.”

“I know it, Pa.”

“But Akhmar doesn't understand that.”

“Akhmar since long ago is indeed arrogant and can not appreciate parents,” chirps Desi chimed.

“Pa, sorry Akhmar.  He remains Papa's son.”  Aldan repeated his sentence.  “Plis, unplug the words that Papa said earlier.  Kasian Akhmar's.  The words of parents are the same as prayers.  Papa ngatain Akhmar bastard, just as Papa told him to continue to behave as badly as humans who will later inhabit Hell.  Those words will actually form Akhmar's character as Papa said.”

“Do not defend him again just so that papa again expects him.  The hide will not arrive if it is not picked up.  Akhmar's heart had been given a black spot and it was difficult to penetrate it.  Tell Akhmar, if something bad happens to him someday, have him look for his Papa and apologize.”  Adam got up and walked in limp steps towards his room.

Aldan was stunned to see the weak steps of his Papa.   Desi was silent.
