🍀🍀🍀
I felt all over my body ache, my legs, my hands, especially my back. That's the part that hurts the most. My eyes closed hard to open, but when I heard the voice of the person who sounded like he was chatting it woke me up.
I finally opened my eyes with the little energy I had.
"Miss? Neng is awake, Alhamdulillah oruh neng."
I saw an old grandmother smiling broadly at me, she heaved a sigh of relief. He seems relieved that I've regained consciousness.
Speaking of the siuman? Why am I here? In the cubicle house and there was an old granny sitting next to me. Who is he and where am I at the moment? Didn't I fall off a cliff? Yeah, that's my last memory before I open my eyes.
"Sorry grandma, who's grandma?" I asked as I went to sit on the bed that seemed to be made of wood, because there was absolutely no soft padded.
"I ran out of water near the river, I saw you there, and I asked my granddaughter to bring neng here" she explained with a red hood to me.
I was a bit surprised, why was I found in the river? Though before I thought that the creatures managed to take me to be one of the dedemits there. But it turns out I survived, even though I was injured.
Suddenly I remembered the fact that I alone survived the cursed forest. The shadow of my four best friends, kept thinking in my head like a movie cassette that was played over and over again.
It hurts!
That's what I feel when I swallow the bitter fact of reality, on the other hand I'm happy to be safe and on the other hand I feel sad, guilty because only I survived.
"Neng, why are you crying? Is neng sick? Neng wants a drink first?" ask the grandmother kindly and her tone is typical Sundanese gentle and friendly.
Without me noticing my tears dripping as the grandmother told me. Soon, I also wiped it. "I'm fine, grandma, thanks grandma."
Grandma I don't know her name, put a glass of water on me. I sipped it quickly in one gulp. Yes, it must be because I was thirsty, very thirsty because I was chased by that dedemit all night.
"No neng, grandma just saw neng alone there. Neng, what's the end of Kalimati forest?!"
I saw her eyes round when I asked her about the forest that I no longer wanted to call her name.
"I-iya nek," I stammered.
"Astagfirullahaladzim! Why are you there? It's not a place where a living person, being able to get out of the forest safely is a miracle!"
The granny's words made me jump in shock. He said that I was lucky to have survived a miracle? Yeah, I mean that's possible. The grandmother's words also intrigued me, and then I asked her again about the forest deeper and how the people could have survived from there.
"Sir, please tell me about the forest and how did people survive from there?"
"Neng, it's better not to remember about it anymore. Forget everything neng, believe me if neng remembers it again.he is even more afraid." the grandmother said while patting my shoulder, intending to calm me and bury all my stories in the forest.
"But my friends, Grandma, they didn't survive!" I said a little to Grandma, I cried. Lamenting fate. Why am I the only survivor? Why just me?
Rendra, Ivan, Nita and Mila how are they currently doing?
"Miss! My friends told me to bring their bodies, do you know where they might be?"
"Sorry neng, I don't know much.but as far as I know - the people who have entered the forest, can not be found again even the remains."
Deg!
I was stunned, hearing the grandmother's words.
