Chapters 17. Rania's Story

My body felt heavy, I wanted to open my eyes but it was hard. The sound of my grandmother, Galang and Amira were chatting.

"Mom, could it be that Rania saw our sister's sister?" ask Amira who was addressed to my grandmother.

"No way! Rania couldn't see anything like that" my grandmother replied firmly.

Yeah like what my grandmother said, I can't see anything like that aka supernatural beings. However, I saw Rendra and Mila disappear in front of my eyes. Are they magical beings?

I opened my eyes heavily, I saw Grandma's face with a frown, which meant that she was worried about me. I glanced again to my left, there were Amira and Galang.

"Are you familiar with Ran?" Ask my grandmother, I see relief on her face.

"Sir," I'm limp.

"Drink first, baby." My grandmother's words were soft.

My grandmother got out of bed, and then I sat down. Grandma gave me a glass of water and I took a sip. My breath gasps, I try to regulate my still roaring breath. "Where is it calm?" ask my grandmother to see how I am doing.

"Alhamdulillah, I'm nothing grandma." answered me who already felt better than before.

"Ran... Can we ask now?" asked Brother Amira Yang seemed impatient to ask me something.

I nodded my head, agreeing to her request to ask. "Ran, have you seen Mila..sama Rendra?" asked Amira, hesitating.

I answered honestly, that I did see them. Mila and Rendra were sitting right next to Galang and Amira. Amira did not continue her question after I explained that Mila and Rendra were beside them.

"But they were brilliant," I said next which made brother Amira and brother Galang stunned.

"Ran, now brother Galang wants to ask you. What happened in the woods?" Galang looked at my face, he was very curious about what happened in the cursed forest that had made me lose my friends.

Galang's question made me bow, my heart wondered should I tell you all the mystical events that had happened in the forest? Actually, if I tell it, then I'll think back to when I was there.

However, pity Galang and Amira who are looking for their sister. I have to help, even though my heart is hard to tell.

"Yes brother, I'll tell you everything." I said bravely.

"Thank you Rania," I saw Amira biting her lower lip, she was ready to listen to my story about the forest. Galang is equally curious as Amira.

I told him from the beginning we went to the forest.

"Before entering the forest, I saw a little girl dressed in white standing right under the banyan tree. The little girl waved her hand at me and looked at me sharply, then she disappeared. Suddenly Rendra stopped the car and in front of us was a grandfather, his white eyes dominated and his hair color was white. The old man told us that we can't go into the woods, that we won't be eaten. Don't know what to eat, but since I'm stubborn.I asked my friends to come in there."

I saw that Galang and Amira's brother looked more and more curious about my story. I also told him everything that happened in the forest without anything added or reduced. The incident where we were being bullied was fined, when Mila was missing for the first time, when we heard a bang like there was an incarnation. The voice appeared together with the delicate creatures whose faces were extremely sinister.

Moreover, seeing your water, Galang and Amira, whom I saw were already glazed. Surely they were sad to hear the story about Mila and Rendra, they were cool.

Brother Amira and brother Galang fell silent, they lowered their heads like they were hiding facial features. I don't know, I don't know how they feel, which I obviously told them all about the danger of the forest and about the message of Mila and Rendra.

That was the last time I met Galang and Amira. After I told them what happened, they thanked me for wanting to tell the story and that was the last time I saw the figure of Rendra and Mila.

Long story short, I went back to school even though I was still upset. I didn't talk or interact much in class. It is sad that my heart is actually seeing four empty benches near me, that is the bench that my friends should have occupied.But my friends are no longer in the world. Really, I feel lost!

When my teacher was explaining the lesson, I felt that was blowing on his ears. Aye? How cold is gini?

"Do your duty before the bell rings yes!"

I heard the sound of the math maple teacher giving orders for the task to be done quickly before the break bell rang.

I write while thinking about doing math problems my teacher wrote on the white board. All of a sudden, though,

Maybe I was just hallucinating!
